The invention relates to a self-supporting wall element for the production of inner and outer walls in building construction, consisting of a supporting frame and an insulating body arranged in the frame.
In order to achieve a shorter construction time and lower construction costs in building construction, especially in one and two family houses, the element construction was developed. This is particularly suitable for the production of the inner and outer walls of the floors on a solid basement.
The inner and outer walls are divided into individual sections, which can be formed by appropriate wall elements. So the walls can be put together by individual window, door and solid wall elements.
The modular design has considerable advantages over the conventional, so-called solid construction. In addition to the short construction time and the low costs, the serial production of the elements is a particular advantage. These can be prefabricated efficiently in a manufacturing building. The wall elements and the people who manufacture them are not exposed to the weather during this time.
The wall elements usually consist of a base frame made of wood, in which an insulation mat is arranged, and of cladding supports attached to the end faces of the base frame. Slats fastened at intervals from one another on the end faces of the base frame serve as cladding supports. These keep the insulation mat within the base frame.
During assembly in the manufacturing building, the insulation ratte is largely protected from the weather.
So there is hardly any risk that the insulation will be soaked in the water from rain and snow that is harmful to them.
When installing the wall elements on the construction site, it is practically impossible that the insulation mat can be adequately protected against drenching. If, on the other hand, the insulation mat has been soaked in water from snow or rain, it usually takes a long time to dry again. It is therefore inevitable in many cases to replace the wet insulation mat with a dry one. However, this is associated with considerable activities and costs.
In order to create the required space for installation cables, for example for electrical cables and electrical junction boxes within the wall element, corresponding recesses are made within the insulation mat. However, these recesses can only be made with difficulty in an insulation mat composed of individual fibers. This is because there is a risk that the insulation mat will be torn, which can cause cold bridges.
In addition, it is usually inevitable that the vapor barrier, which consists of a film arranged on the insulation mat from the side facing the building interior, must be interrupted. As a result, precipitation can form inside the wall element, which can lead to its destruction.
It is an object of the present invention to provide a self-supporting wall element for building construction, in which the insulation mat is largely protected against drenching, and in which the installation can be made without damaging the insulation mat and the vapor barrier. This object is achieved in that an inner and an outer end plate are arranged in the frame, which completely envelop the insulation body in cooperation with the frame and hold it in position, and that an air space is provided for installations within the frame in front of the inner end plate.
The insulation body is completely encased by the frame and the end plates arranged in the frame, with the result that it is largely protected against external influences. This also means that the wall elements can be installed on the construction site in any weather. The installations can be installed in the intended airspace without difficulty, without the insulation body having to be damaged.
A groove and a fold for receiving the end plates are advantageously formed in the individual beams forming the frame. The beams are assembled to form the frame so that the groove and the rebate are directed towards the inside of the frame. The groove and the rebate can advantageously be produced in one operation by means of a combined milling tool. The inner end plate is expediently inserted in the groove before the beams are joined to form the frame they form.
The inner end plate advantageously consists of a hardboard, which is provided with a coating.
The coating acts as a vapor barrier, which, together with the complete covering of the insulation body, offers the possibility that it is only made of loose insulation flakes
can exist. By using this inexpensive insulation material, the manufacturing costs of the wall element can be significantly reduced.
The outer end plate is expediently firmly connected to the individual beams of the frame. As a result, a substantial stiffening of the frame of the wall element is achieved. It is particularly advantageous that, despite this stiffening, the wall element receives only a slight increase in weight. This in turn means that the wall elements can be used for parapet floors thanks to their low weight. Due to their low weight, the wall elements described have the advantage that the floor plan of the attic floor does not have to be adapted to the corresponding floor plan below.
The groove is expediently formed in the frame at a distance from the end face in order to form an air space between the end plate arranged in the groove and the cladding fastened on the end face.
The depth of the air space expediently corresponds to the depth of electrical connection boxes. This means that even electrical junction boxes can be accommodated in the airspace without damaging the insulation body. In the lower bar of the frame, there are expediently recesses for the passage of installation lines. The installation work is made considerably easier by the formation of such recesses. For example, electrical cables can be routed from the floor to the electrical connection box that can be mounted on the inner end plate.
The frame of the wall element is expediently mountable by means of a fastening device arranged in the area of the air space on the floor ceiling. This arrangement of the fastening device within the air space means that the wall element can be mounted on the floor ceiling without damaging the insulation body.
It is particularly advantageous that the fastening device is easily accessible.
The individual frames of the wall elements expediently have a groove on their vertical end face, with which they can be joined together by inserting a spring. This joint connection has the advantage that the individual wall elements can be quickly joined together. It is also achieved that the wall elements are mutually stiffened by this tongue and groove connection.
The present invention will now be described with reference to the drawing.
It shows:
1 is an isometric view of a wall element to which adjacent wall elements are attached,
2 shows a horizontal section along the line A-A of the wall elements according to FIG. 1, in which the inner and outer formwork is additionally attached,
3 shows a vertical section of an outer wall element placed on a concrete ceiling, according to FIG. 1,
4 shows a horizontal section through two wall elements which are joined to form a corner connection,
5 shows a vertical section through a door element,
Fig. 6 shows a further vertical section through a window element.
A wall element 11 according to the invention essentially consists of a frame 15 composed of four beams 13. Within this frame 15, an insulation mat 21, e.g. a glass fiber mat.
The individual wall elements 11 can be connected to adjacent wall elements 11 by means of a tongue and groove connection 23.
Fig. 2 shows the arrangement of the inner and outer end plate 17, 19 and the insulation mat 21, within the frame 15 of the wall element 11. On the end faces 29 and 31 of the frame 15, the inner and outer panels 33 and 35 are attached. In the present figure, the inner lining 33 is formed, for example, from a wooden panel. The outer cladding 35 consists of a lightweight board 37 on which a plaster 39 is applied.
The inner end plate 17, which is made, for example, of hard fibers, forms, together with the outer end plate 19 and the frame 15, a space that completely encloses the insulation mat 21. As a result, the insulation mat 21 is largely protected from external damage. It also ensures that the insulation mat is not damaged by the absorption of water in rainy weather on the construction site.
A coating which acts as a vapor barrier is expediently applied to the inner end plate 17. With the outer end plate 19, which is arranged in a fold 27 formed in the frame 15 and is firmly connected to the frame 15, a high stiffening of the frame 15 is achieved. This stiffened frame is the basis for stable, dimensionally stable walls.
The inner connection plate 17 is expediently mounted in a groove 25 formed in the frame 15. The inner end plate 17 is inserted into the groove 25 before the beams 13 are finally assembled to form the frame 15.
An air space 41 is provided between the inner end plate 17 and the inner lining 33, in which installations can be laid.
3 shows, the wall element 11 is placed on a threshold 43 which is connected to the floor ceiling 45 via an anchor 59. The wall element 11 is fastened by means of a screw connection 65, which connects the lower beam 13 of the frame 15 to the threshold 43. In order to lead installations, for example electrical lines 61, from the floor ceiling 45 into the air space 41, a cutout 67 is provided in the lower beam 13 of the frame 15 and in the threshold 43. The air gap 41 is dimensioned such that even an electrical connection box 63 can be accommodated.
A purlin 47 is placed on the upper beam 13 of the frame 15, on which the beam position of the ceiling comes to rest. Between the threshold 43 and the frame 15 and the purlin 47 and the frame 15, an elastic insulation insert 49 is provided, which prevents the formation of a cold bridge.
The depth of the fold 27 is dimensioned such that a further air space 42 is created between the outer end plate 19 and the lightweight construction plate 37 placed on the end face 31. By forming grooves 70 in the upper and lower beams 13 of the frame 15 and in the threshold 43 and the purlin 47, the outer cladding formed from the lightweight board 37 and the plaster 39 can be ventilated.
In FIG. 4, a corner post 51 forms a corner connection with two wall elements 11 attached to it by means of the tongue and groove connection 23.
5 shows a door element which has a box-shaped, rigid lintel 53. The lintel 53 is composed of two horizontal bars 55 and two box girders 57.
The bars 55 and the box girders 57 form a cavity 58 in which an insulation mat 21 is arranged. The lintel 53 forms a closed frame with a lower crossbar 54 and two vertical grid bars 69 connecting them. On the two end faces 29 and 31 of the frame, the panels 71 of the door or
the outer or inner lining are attached.
The lintel 53 of the vertical section shown in FIG. 6 through a window element has the same structure as that
5. The parapet 73 of the window element is formed from two horizontal beams 75 and from a formwork 77, which are fastened to the end faces of the beams 75. By resulting from this arrangement existing cavity 58, an insulation mat 21 is introduced.
The load-bearing elements, such as beams, purlins, sleepers,
Bars are made of wood. A wood paneling or a plate that can be papered can be provided for the inner lining 33. But there is also the possibility that the inner lining consists of a lightweight board that can be plastered.
