Beispiel 1
A.) Herstellung von 1-Phenoxy-4- [(2-vinyloxy)-äthoxy] benzol

A.) Preparation of 1-phenoxy-4- [(2-vinyloxy) ethoxy] benzene
To a solution of 18.6 g of 4-phenoxyphenol in 90 ml of dimethylformamide, 20.6 g of finely powdered, anhydrous
Potassium carbonate and 0.5 g of finely powdered potassium iodide added. Now 13.8 g of 2-chloroethyl vinyl ether are added dropwise with stirring at 60-65 "C within 3 hours; the
The reaction mixture is then used for 35 hours
Stirred at 60-65 ° C. The reaction mixture is then poured into 800 ml of ice water and extracted repeatedly with n-hexane and diethyl ether. The combined organic phases are washed with 10% strength potassium hydroxide solution, then with saturated sodium chloride solution and dried over sodium sulfate.
Then the solvent is distilled off. The crude product, which solidified in crystalline form after removal of the solvent, is recrystallized once from methanol and then from isopropanol, whereby pure 1-phenoxy-4- [(2-vinyloxy) ethoxy] benzene with a melting point of 51-52 "C is obtained.
B). Production of 1-phenoxy-4- (2-methyl-2-propargyloxy) ethoxy-benzene
3.9 g of an approximately 60% sodium hydride dispersion in mineral oil is washed twice with hexane and once with tetrahydrofuran and then covered with 50 ml of tetrahydrofuran and 50 ml of hexamethylphosphoric triamide. 24.5 g of 1-phenoxy-4- (2-hydroxy-2-methyl) ethoxybenzene, dissolved in 50 ml of tetrahydrofuran, are added dropwise to this sodium hydride suspension at room temperature over the course of 30 minutes, and the mixture is stirred for a further 5 hours at room temperature . Then, with slight cooling (ice water), 14 g of propargyl bromide are added dropwise over the course of 30 minutes, and stirring is continued overnight at room temperature. For working up, the tetrahydrofuran is largely removed in vacuo, the residue is poured into 500 ml of water and extracted repeatedly with ether.
The combined ether phases are washed again with water and saturated sodium chloride solution, dried over sodium sulphate and then completely freed from the ether.
The residue is purified further by chromatography on silica gel (eluent: diethyl ether-hexane 1: 3), whereby pure 1-phenoxy-4- [(2-methyl-2-propargyloxy) ethoxy] 20 benzene is obtained (n D: 1, 5569).
The 1 -phenoxy-4- (2hydroxy-2-methyl) - ethoxy-benzene used as the starting product is prepared as follows: A mixture of 93 g of 4-phenoxy-phenol, 46.5 g of propylene oxide and 2 g of triethylamine is in an oil bath within Heated for 16 hours with a gradual increase in temperature up to a bath temperature of 108 C. After cooling, the reaction mixture is diluted with ether, washed twice with 10% strength aqueous hydrochloric acid and three times with 10% strength potassium hydroxide solution and then with saturated sodium chloride solution. After drying the ethereal solution over sodium sulfate, it is completely evaporated and the solidifying residue is recrystallized from hexane-isopropanol (3: 1), whereby pure 1-phenoxy-4- (2-hydroxy-2-methyl) -ethoxybenzene with a melting point of 70- 71 "CC is obtained.
Example 2
The solution of 22.6 g of 1-phenoxy-4-allyloxy is added dropwise to a suspension, cooled to -3 C, of 31.8 g of mercury (II) acetate in 200 ml of absolute ethanol, with vigorous stirring over the course of 40 minutes. benzene in 100 ml of absolute ethanol. After the addition of the allyloxy compound, the mixture is stirred for a further 5 hours at 22-25 "C. It is then cooled to 0 and the reaction mixture with 125 ml of a 3N aqueous sodium hydroxide solution that has been precooled to 0 C. and immediately afterwards with 125 ml of a 0 , 5 N sodium borohydride solution in 3 N sodium hydroxide solution are added. After adding the reducing agent, the mixture is stirred for 14 hours at room temperature.
For working up, the reaction mixture is decanted from the deposited mercury, the supernatant solution is added to 800 ml of saturated sodium chloride solution and extracted four times with diethyl ether. The combined ether phases are washed with sodium chloride solution, dried over sodium sulfate and completely freed from the solvent in vacuo. The oily residue is further purified by chromatography on silica gel (eluent: diethyl ether-hexane 1: 4), whereby pure 1-phenoxy-4- [(2-ethoxy-2-methyl) -ethoxy] -benzene is obtained (nD20: 1.5420).
