Description
The present invention relates to a device for fastening and holding plate-shaped structures, in particular glass panes, and a use of this device.
It is already known to screw the panes of glass by means of cover straps in greenhouses, but this is relatively complicated and time-consuming.
The aim of the invention is to create a device which does not have this disadvantage.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that it has a box-shaped profile which, in cross section, has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid with a central opening provided in the larger base side, the latter being formed by two convergent convergent ones running obliquely inward Sections at a distance from one another have at least approximately perpendicular to the larger trapezoid base outwardly directed, mutually parallel bends that protrude beyond the plane of this larger base side of the trapezoid,
that by means of a snap-in rib in said opening of the box-shaped profile snap-in cover flap is provided, and the A snap-in rib for locking behind the convergent profile sections, seen in cross section, expires in the form of an arrowhead.
It is useful if the cover flap, viewed in cross section, has the shape of a segment of a circle and the snap-in rib runs centrally from the flat side. It is also beneficial. when the box-shaped profile is made of metal and the cover flap is made of elastic material such as rubber.
The invention also relates to a use of the device according to the invention for fastening and holding the glass panes of greenhouses or greenhouses.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, for example. 1 shows a perspective partial view of the box-shaped part of the exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention shown in cross section in FIG. 3; FIG. 2 shows a perspective partial view of the cover flap of the exemplary embodiment, shown in cross section in FIG. 3, of a device according to the invention; and FIG. 3 shows, in cross section, an exemplary embodiment of a device according to the invention for fastening the glass panes of a greenhouse or greenhouse.
As can be seen from the drawing, the box-shaped profile of the device is generally denoted by 1 and has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid in cross section, the larger base of which is open and forms a kind of channel with two angled bends denoted by 2. The bends 2 mentioned are parallel to one another and result from two convergent sections of the larger base side which are arranged at a distance from one another.
In combination with this profile 1 is a cover flap made of elastic material, such as. B. rubber, rubber or the like, see easily (Fig. 2), which consists of a circular segment-shaped part 3, from which a shoulder 6 extends in the middle, the free end 7 of which expires like an arrowhead.
As shown in FIG. 3, the edges of the glass plates 4 and 5 are supported on the lateral sections of the larger base side of the profile 1 and lie against the bends 2 of the profile. Then the cover flap is inserted in such a way that the snap-in rib 6 penetrates the opening of the profile 1 until the arrowhead-shaped end 7 of the cover flap passes the opening of the profile 1, so that the legs of the arrowhead 7 on the convergent sections of the larger base side of the Profile 1 rest and are held by them. In this way, an easy-to-carry out and nevertheless perfect fastening of the glass plates was created.
