Description
Metal dowels for insertion in masonry holes and process for their manufacture. According to the present invention, a metal dowel for insertion in masonry holes is characterized in that it has at least one longitudinal slot having sheet metal jacket with a circular cross-section as an insertion body, the parts of which can be spread apart or pressed together against their own spring forces.
A method for the production of masonry dowels according to the invention is characterized according to the invention in that two strips connected by a central piece are punched out of a sheet metal piece, bent as a leg of a U-piece and in a concave shape. Side facing, at least approximately semicircular profiles are pressed.
Some exemplary embodiments are explained with reference to the drawing.
1 and 2 show, in axial section and plan view, a first exemplary embodiment with a clamp.
3 and 4 show axial sections through two variants without a retaining element, and FIG. 5 shows a top view according to FIG. 4. FIG. 6 shows a variant of FIG. 1 in axial section.
7 and 8 show, in section and plan view, a further embodiment of an embodiment provided with a clamp.
Fig. 9 and 10 is a dowel connected to a hook,. Wherein Fig. 11 is a plan view of the object of Fig. 10 shows.
Finally, FIG. 12 shows a variant of FIGS. 1 and 6 in axial section.
In all figures, corresponding parts are seen with the same reference numerals ver.
According to all embodiments, the leg strips 1 and 2 are integrally punched with the crosspiece 3 from the same piece of sheet metal and bent as a leg of a U-piece of the same. When pressing, all these legs 1 and 2 is a little least approximately semi-circular profile he shares, with the concave sides of these legs facing each other.
This results in resilient legs 1, 2, which can be pressed against one another or spread apart from one another.
Such a dowel can be inserted into a masonry hole, and those on the legs are suitable for locking into the thick hole without having to be immured.
According to the embodiments of FIGS. 1, 3, 4, 6, 10 and 12, the legs are seen in view in the middle part curved outward, which facilitates their introduction into the wall work hole. According to: FIGS. 1 and 3, the two legs 1 and 2 are provided with a screw groove 4. As shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 12 ersicht Lich, in the position of use outward lying crosspiece 3 is with. a hole 5 is provided for inserting a screw.
Such a screw has the purpose of spreading the two legs 1 and 2 outwards against the walls of the masonry bore. So that it can hold on to the legs, these legs are advantageous at least on the inside. with a soft metal, z. B. a zinc layer, occupied.
Even when punching the legs 1, 2 and the crosspiece 3 from the original piece of sheet metal, the development of a retaining member can be punched out of this in one piece and also shaped when the dowel is pressed.
Thus, according to FIGS. 1, 2, 6 and 12, a clamp 6 with a central slot 6 'is integrally connected to the dowel jacket, so that when using such dowels, pipes can be attached to masonry in a number of ways.
7 and 8, the connec tion piece 3 of the two legs 1, 2 is arranged at the front.
According to FIGS. 9, 10 and 11, the retaining element has the shape of a hook 8 which is welded on according to FIG. 9, while according to FIGS. 10 and 11 it is punched from the same piece of sheet metal as the legs 1, 2 and therefore has one A middle slot 8 '.
The special feature of the dowel according to FIG. 12 is that the leg 1 as a whole runs approximately at right angles to the crosspiece 3, while the leg 2 is inclined towards it. is so that it is splayed by a screw. has to be, for the purpose of pressing the clamp against the wall under tension.
In all versions, the Sehsen angle, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 show, be provided with screw benrillen.
