Fig. 3 einen Brüstungskanal im Querschnitt,
Fig. 4 einen Bodenkanal im Querschnitt,
Fig. 5 ein Brüstungsgestell für Wandmontage im Querschnitt.
Cable duct made from two extruded profiles
Electrical cables and wires are laid in cable ducts in building installations. It is known to form such cable ducts from extruded profile pieces of relatively great length, which can be made of light metal or synthetic plastic. Such known channel profiles have a box-shaped cross-section with a cover that can be attached, the box cross-section being relatively small in the known designs and several profiles being laid next to one another in order to obtain a large channel cross-section.
There are also known channel profiles which have a relatively large box cross-section, with insertable partition walls being provided in order to separate individual lines or groups of conductors from one another. For this purpose, a known channel profile has grooves on the bottom, into which the partition walls can be drawn in the longitudinal direction. The profile can also have ribs to which partition walls can be attached by means of clamps.
The variety of requirements in installation systems requires a great variety of channel profiles and their subdivision, which the known profiles only inadequately or only with great effort do justice.
The invention aims to expand and simplify such possible variations. It relates to a cable duct made of two extruded profiles, which is characterized in that a first profile made of light metal is designed as a carrier for a second profile made of elastic plastic, in that the first profile has a plurality of parallel and regularly spaced clamping ribs has rear engaging surfaces running on both rib sides and the second profile has two foot ribs each with a rear engaging surface, the whole in such a way that the second profile is attached to the first profile by pressing onto the first profile as a result of a clamp connection by mutual engagement of the ribs.
The first profile can expediently have a box-shaped cross-section, the clamping ribs being on the inside of the box, onto which several second profiles can be attached, which apart from the foot ribs can have different profiles that have the most appropriate shape for the respective holder or storage of the cables and lines can. The first profile can also have a plate-shaped cross section for use as a parapet frame.
Embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. In the drawing shows:
1 shows a cable duct with an extruded profile with attached second profile designed as a closed conductor channel
2 shows a cable duct with attached, second profile designed as a ladder console,
3 shows a parapet duct in cross section,
4 shows a floor duct in cross section,
5 shows a parapet frame for wall mounting in cross section.
In the cable duct according to FIG. 1, a first profile 11, of which only a section is shown, is made of light metal. This profile 11 has on one side in the strand direction over the entire length of the foot ribs 12 running parallel to one another at regular intervals.
These ribs are relatively low and all ribs have the same cross-section, both in size and shape.
The foot ribs 12 have a rounded apex 13, laterally adjoining these two wedge surfaces 14 and adjoining these two rear engaging surfaces 15, so that a rib cross-section with head and neck is formed which is symmetrical to a plane of symmetry.
The second profile is made of elastic plastic. In the embodiment of FIG. 1, the second profile 20 has an arched bottom 21 with two convex arched foot ribs 22 and two parallel walls 23 which have a bead 24 at their end and which, together with the bottom 21, form a ladder channel with a cover 25 that can be pressed on is wearable. In this exemplary embodiment, the second profile represents a lockable ladder channel.
The two profiles 11 and 20 are connected to one another in that the profile 20 is pressed onto the profile 11, the foot ribs 21 sliding over the wedge surfaces 14 of the clamping ribs 12 when they are pressed until they engage behind the engagement surfaces 15 and thereby hold them in a clamped connection.
In the cable duct according to FIG. 2, the first profile 11, of which again only a section is shown, has the same arrangement of foot ribs 12 as already described. The second profile 30, which is again made of plastic, here has the shape of a console with a flat bottom 31, two concavely arched foot ribs 32 and a console wall 33. The two profiles 11 and 30 are connected by pressing the foot ribs 32 between two clamping ribs 12. This arrangement has the advantage that all the spaces between the clamping ribs 12 can be fully utilized. It is irrelevant for the clamping connection whether the second profile has a curved base 21 according to FIG. 1 or a flat base 31 according to FIG.
The first profile 11 is expediently supplemented to form an entire assembly part, the shape and size of which can be adapted to the respective electrical installation. For example, FIG. 3 shows a parapet duct with a box-shaped cross section, the bottom and rear wall 11 of which, which have the clamping ribs 12 on the inside of the box, continue at the top in a box wall 16, the parapet duct being closed by an insertable cover 17. In FIG. 4, the profile 11 is supplemented by two side walls 18 to form a floor channel which is closed by an insertable cover 19. The first profile 11 can also be supplemented to form a parapet frame for wall mounting, as shown for example in FIG. 5.
In addition to the two foot ribs, the second profile can be designed in a variety of profile shapes depending on the intended use, for example also as a carrier for attaching devices such as security panels, switch panels, contactors or the like. Such a carrier 41 is shown in FIG. 3 in addition to two ladder troughs 42 and a bracket 43. In Fig. 4 a partition wall 44 is shown, which separates the space of the floor duct into a space for high-voltage lines and a space for low-voltage lines. In addition to a ladder trough 42, a ladder trough 45 is also shown, which has twice the width, as well as a ladder trough 46, the height of which is adapted to the clear height of the floor channel and at the same time serves as a support for the cover 19. However, the invention is not bound to the shapes of the second profile shown or restricted to them.
