den Tragarm 13 einwirkenden Kräftepaares eine sichere Rückführung der Mittelpufferkupplung nach .deren Freigabe in die Mittelstellung. Die Walzern 33 und 35 des zweiten Drucklager-Paares liegen während .dieser Vorgänge ständig am Zwischenteil 25 an;
Die Flansche 19, 29 und 31 sichern die durch ein Drucklager-Paar gegeneinander .abgestützten Teile gegen ein relatives Verschieben in Längsrichtung der Walzer' 21 und 23 bzw. 33 und 35 und die Befesti- gung.d;
Device for hanging and vertical and horizontal centering of central buffer couplings The invention relates to a device for hanging and vertical and horizontal centering of central buffer couplings on rail vehicles, with a support arm running almost horizontally underneath the pull and push rod for the central buffer coupling,
the front end of which is articulated via a substantially vertical support on the pull and push rod and:
the rear end of which, via line contact, is essentially located in a vertical plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and has spring preload on one connected to the vehicle frame,
to the plane of the thrust bearing rests parallel to the support plate.
A device of the type mentioned above is already known. In this case, the contact line of the thrust bearing forms a self-contained curve, for example a circle, an oval or a triangle.
However, this device has the defect that when the central buffer coupling and thus the support arm are deflected from the central position, the thrust bearing has no line contact in almost all cases, but only point contact as a result of the tilting of the support arm with respect to the support plate.
Torques occurring in the support arm around an axis parallel to its longitudinal direction, which, for example, in the event of a horizontal, lateral deflection of the central buffer coupling by the support acting as a lever arm and:
the spring bias of the thrust bearing cannot be transferred to the support plate via the point contact of the thrust bearing, so that after a slight lateral deflection of the support arm sufficient to achieve point contact, the support arm tilts laterally around its longitudinal axis :
will turn. The central buffer coupling can then no longer be properly reset to the central position. In addition, the inclination len of the support can cause a rotation of the Mittelpufferkupp ment around the longitudinal axis of the pull and push rod, whereby the functionality of the telpufferkupplung is endangered.
A device for suspending central buffer couplings is widely known: which has two supports inclined backwards, downwards and to the side from the coupling head, the forked ends of which on levers extending obliquely backwards and upwards from the supports via two substantially vertically to one another offset thrust bearings stand up.
The upper ends of the levers are pivotably pivoted on the vehicle frame in planes that are parallel to the vehicle longitudinal direction and perpendicular. Furthermore, the levers are attacked by a pretensioned spring force that presses them against the supports at your articulation points. This device requires an extensive linkage for its structure, which must be very precisely manufactured and assembled to clearly set the middle position.
Furthermore, there are many with wear and tear: flawed pivot bearings that require constant maintenance and the device, like the one described above, does not always guarantee against rotation around the longitudinal axis of the pull and push rod: secured bracket for the central buffer coupling.
The invention is based on the object of providing a simple, inexpensive device of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which. the support arm over, the thrust bearing always protected against rotation about its longitudinal axis; , the support plate is supported:
which therefore cannot cause any turning of the central buffer coupling around the longitudinal axis of the pull and push rod and which always ensures that the central buffer coupling is properly reset in its central position.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that, in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, two pairs of straight line contact mediating pressure bearings are provided, each arranged in a plane that is essentially vertical and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle,
wherein the two thrust bearings of each pair are arranged laterally offset to their longitudinal direction, run parallel to each other and the thrust bearings of the other pair cross perpendicularly, one pair of thrust bearings between the end of the support arm and an intermediate part and the other pair of thrust bearings between the intermediate part and the support plate are switched on and each thrust bearing is used to transmit a horizontal,
to the vehicle longitudinal direction parallel axis effective torque is formed suitable.
In order to prevent the parts supported by a pair of thrust bearings from folding down about an axis of rotation lying in the plane of the thrust bearing pair and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the two thrust bearings, it is advantageous if the mutual distance between the two thrust bearings of a thrust bearing pair is smaller than the longitudinal extension of each thrust bearing of the other thrust bearing pair.
Each thrust bearing can have a protruding cutting edge which is attached to one of the parts to be supported against one another and which engages in a corresponding notch in the other part.
While accepting a certain amount of friction during the deflection movements, each thrust bearing can have a roller which engages in a groove of the parts to be supported against each other, in order to reduce the cost of manufacture, in a modification of the embodiment shown above.
In order to prevent the rollers from falling out of the grooves during the deflection movements, it is advantageous if each roller is firmly connected to a part resting on it.
It is advantageous to rule out shifts between two parts in the longitudinal direction of the thrust bearings located between them,
when one of the two parts supported against one another by a pair of thrust bearings engages around the other of the two parts on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the thrust bearings.
In .den drawings, an embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a side view of the device partially in section and FIG. 2 shows a section through part of the device according to the line I-I in FIG.
In a vehicle frame 1, in a manner not shown, a pull and push rod 3 is mounted pivotably about its transverse axes via a spring-loaded pulling and pushing device.
The pull and push rod 3 carries at its free, front end a central buffer coupling, not shown, of a known type. In the central position of the central buffer coupling, the pull and push rod 3 gnaws at least approximately horizontally and running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle from the front of the vehicle frame 1.
On the pull and push rod 3 a pipe clamp-like part 5 is attached to which below the pull and push rod 3 with levers of a horizontal, the pull and push rod 3 vertically crossing bolt 7 a steep downward and backward support 9 only in a vertical one; Level is pivoted.
The lower end of the adjustable length via a screw connection 11 support 9 is bifurcated and comprises the front end of a below the pull and push rod approximately horizontal; extending support arm 13.
A bolt 15 parallel to the bolt 7 connects the support 9 to the support arm 13 in such a way that the two parts mentioned can only be pivoted relative to one another in a vertical plane. The back wärtige end of the support arm 13 is one of its:
In the longitudinal direction vertical plate 17 is formed which, according to FIG. 2, protrudes backward over one flange 19 on both sides at the front. The two flanges 19 have two through., Horizontal bores which cut the rear surface of the plate 17 and in this form two horizontal grooves with a kneis section-shaped cross-section.
In the holes are two the two flanges 19 mitein other connecting, resting on the bottom of the grooves the rollers, 21 and 23 vertically one above the other rigidly inserted. On the part of its circumference facing away from the plate 17, the two rollers 21 and 23 lie in notch-like grooves of an intermediate part 25 similar to a vertically standing plate and facing the plate 17 at a small distance.
The flanges 19 overlap the intermediate part 25 on both sides. On the side facing away from the plate 17, the intermediate part 25 faces at a small distance from a support plate 27 which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and which gnaws forward horizontally at its upper and lower edge.
the intermediate part 25 carries cross flanges 29 and 31. The flanges 29 and 31 are similar to the two flanges 19 by two in continuous,,
The support plate 27 with circular segment-shaped grooves intersecting drill holes, rigidly inserted rollers 33 and 35 connected to one another. The axes of the rollers 33 and 35 run vertically and are offset from one another laterally in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle,
so that they cross the rollers 21 and 23 perpendicularly. On the intermediate part 25, the rollers 33 and 35 rest in grooves in kenbeinarbigen.
The two rollers 21 and 23 form a pair of thrust bearings with horizontal lines of contact between the plate 17 and the intermediate part 25 and, the two rollers 33 and 35 represent a pair of thrust bearings with vertical lines of contact between the intermediate part 25 and the support plate 27 .
The distance a or c between the two rollers 21 and 23 or 33 and 35 of each thrust bearing pair is smaller than the effective contact distance b or d of each roller 33 and 35 or 21 and 23 of the other thrust bearing pair.
The support plate 27 provided with reinforcing ribs 37 is connected to a frame-like support frame 39 which is articulated on the underside of the vehicle frame 1 by means of a cross pin 41. Set back to the transverse bolt 41, the support frame 39 has a stop 43, which is acted upon by the weight of the central buffer coupling on the support frame. 39 exerted torque is pressed against the vehicle frame 1.
On the backward vertical wall of the support frame 39 is a horizontally rearwardly projecting, prestressed pressure spring 45, .denen the other end is supported against a spring plate 47. The spring plate 47 is provided with a tie rod 51 which can be adjusted in length by a screw connection 49
which gnaws through the compression spring 45 and whose front end is articulated approximately vertically above the intermediate part 25 within the support frame 39 via a ball joint 53 on an upwardly projecting lever 55 rigidly attached to the support arm 13. The pivot axes, not shown, of the pull and push rod 3 in Be train to the vehicle frame 1 are located in the intermediate part 25 intersecting or at least very close to this vertical planes.
At rest when in its central position be sensitive central buffer coupling take the parts of the device: the positions shown in the drawings. All of the rollers 21, 23, 33 and 35 rest in the grooves assigned to them on the intermediate part 25.
The load exerted by the central buffer coupling on the support arm 13 is transferred to the support frame 39 via the roller pairs 21, 23 and 33, 35 as well as the tie rod 51 and the bias of the compression spring 45 and from this via the transverse pin 41 and the stop 43 the vehicles 1 transferred.
When the central buffer coupling is deflected vertically upwards or downwards, the support arm 13 is pivoted in a vertical plane around the upper or lower roller 23 or 21 as a swivel joint from its rest position via .die support 9.
The opposite of the Auslenkrich device lying roller 21 or 23 is lifted from the inter mediate part 25. About the lever 55, the tension of the compression spring 45 is weakened when lifting the telpufferkupplung with and increased when lowering; this change in tension of the compression spring 45, together with the change in the distance that occurs when pivoting outwards, causes the over the roller 23 or 21 from the support plate 27 and over the! Tie rod 51 from the compression springs 45 on:
the force couple acting on the support arm 13 ensures a safe return of the central buffer coupling to the central position after its release. The rollers 33 and 35 of the second pair of thrust bearings are constantly on the intermediate part 25 during .dieser processes;
the longer vertical contact distance b of the rollers 33 and 35 on the intermediate ax 25 compared to the distance a between the rollers 21 and 23 prevents the latter from folding down of the support plate 27 about a horizontal axis of rotation.
When swiveling out the central buffer coupling in; horizontal direction is on the support 9 of the support arm 13: also steers out of its rest position. It rotates: while taking along the intermediate part 25 to each in the.
Deflection direction lying roller 33 or 35, while the inter mediate part 25 from the other roller 35 or 33 stands out. The two rollers 21 and 23 remain there due to the smaller distance c of the rollers 33 and. 35 presses against the support section d of the first-mentioned rollers 21 and 23 on the intermediate part 25, arge.
The laterally offset position of the pivot point of the ball joint 53 to the axes, the rollers 33 and 35 causes the horizontal deflection of the central buffer coupling to reinforce the tension of the compression spring 45, so that this the Mittelpuf ferkupplung after its release with partial relaxation in their Mid position can return.
When the central buffer coupling is swiveled out in an inclined direction, for example to the left and down as seen from the front, the processes described above are superimposed and a rotation takes place in each of the two pressure position pairs:
around one of the rollers 21 or 23 or 33 or 35, according to the example around the rollers 35 and 21, while:
the other rollers 23 or 21 or 35 or 33, in the example the rollers. 33 and 23, from the intermediate part 25 are lifted. Even with this deflection, the compression spring 45 brings about the displacement of the axes of rotation .des support arm 13: its passage through: .the:
shown rest position the central buffer coupling after its release in the central position.
With all of the above-described deflections of the central buffer coupling, at least one of the rollers in each thrust bearing pair remains: 21 and 23 or 33 and 35 in the groove of the intermediate part 25 assigned to it.
. The support arm 13 can therefore under no circumstances perform a rotation about its longitudinal axis with respect to the support plate 27 and thus the vehicle name, so that by means of the rotations of this type,
two articulations of the support 9, the pull and push rod 3 is held non-rotatably about its longitudinal axis. Unintentional twisting of the central buffer coupling around an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is thus excluded.
The flanges 19, 29 and 31 secure the parts supported against each other by a pair of thrust bearings against relative displacement in the longitudinal direction of the rollers 21 and 23 or 33 and 35 and the fastening.
he rollers 21, 23, 33 and 35 on the flanges 19 or 29 and 31 are used for safe return into the associated grooves of the intermediate part 25 after lifting.
In the device, the rollers 21, 23, 33 and 35 of the thrust bearings can be cut by appropriate cutting on the plate 17 or
the support plate 27 replaced. Or it can be replaced by two punctiform thrust bearings, which are to be arranged at the ends of the contact line of the roller to be replaced. The thrust bearing pairs can also be arranged rotated by 90 about the longitudinal axis of the support arm 13 .
