Air sifter with vertically spreading device and material feed centrally from above The invention relates to an air sifter with vertically supported spreading device and material feed centrally from above,
the one under the spreading device has a central fine material funnel with suction and one. This coaxially encompassing coarse material hopper which continues the outer classifier housing downwards.
There are known classifiers in which the air required to achieve the sighting effect is circulated through blades or other similar fan parts. Since the air with visible material in finer
When the mold is loaded, the moving parts of the classifier are subject to more or less severe signs of wear. To counter this disadvantage, it has already been proposed: to build separators without rotating parts using the diffuser principle, in which the task of the material and air takes place at the diffuser inlet and at the diffuser, de the separation zone is provided.
Here, a funnel-shaped narrowed suction air duct is arranged below the diffuser, which removes the fine centrally and the coarse material on the outside. But this sifter construction does not meet all the expectations, especially not if the available space does not allow the height required for the installation of such a sifter.
In the case of separators of the type mentioned at the outset, it has been shown that undesirable eddies occur near the separation zone, which impair the separation accuracy and effectiveness of the separator. It is the object of the present invention to eliminate this vortex formation and the deficiencies associated with it.
It is solved by the fact that in the outer classifier housing below the classifying zone, classifying air inlets open tangentially from the outside, through which all or part of the classifying air is introduced into the air classifier. The desired effect is achieved if all of the classifying air is passed through the classifying air inlets or, if only part of it: the classifying air is abandoned together with the goods and the rest is fed through the classifying air inlets.
The new construction not only solves the problem given from the purely structural point of view, but also the inventive solution has also achieved an additional technical effect, insofar as a surprising improvement in the visual effect results, which has been confirmed by tests.
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing in two figures Darge.
1 shows in elevation: the sifter in partial section; In FIG. 2, the configuration of the air connection to the separator housing can be seen in the plan according to the section along the line A-B of FIG.
1 is the sifter housing, which is provided with a central material feed 2 at the top, below which a spreading plate 4 rotating around the axis 3 distributes the material to be separated evenly towards the separation zone.
Below the spreading plate 4 is a double-cone-like guide piece 6, which is held in place by the separator housing 1 by means of radial spacer tabs 5 and which is directed from below. is formally encompassed by a funnel 7 of a suction air duct 8 up to the separator separating zone 9 located between the funnel mouth and guide piece 6.
For the purpose of adapting the sifter efficiency to the operating conditions depending on the particular material to be processed, the height of the funnel 7 can be shifted according to arrow 10 to change its flow cross-section. The movement of the funnel 7 is brought about by a handwheel 11, which .ge hold on the lower part of the housing 1 .rotary motion, but is otherwise stationary.
The lower part of the Ge housing 1 tapers in a known manner downwards and has on the deepest right side a runout 12 for the secured coarse material.
In the middle part of the sifter housing, below, the separation zone 9, tangentially opening sifting air feeds 13 are arranged on the circumference, through which all or only part of the sifter air is introduced in the event that the rest of the air required for sifting is above with the Give up well together.
The intersection line 14 of the air inlet 13 can be seen from the left half or FIG.
The invention is not limited to the use of a sifter with a spreading plate, but can also be applied to sifters to which the sifted material is fed into the viewing zone via a cone that takes on the function of a chute, which is close to the inner wall of the sifter lies.
