23, welche in Bewegungs- schlitzen 100c bzw.
Photographic camera with adjusting device for exposure time and aperture The invention relates to a photographic camera with adjusting devices for exposure time and aperture, which can be controlled by a common adjuster in such a way that the adjustment range of this adjuster has an exposure value range with uniform gradation Are defined.
The invention is based on the technical problem of creating a camera of this type in which the exposure setting is optionally both automatically, depending on an illuminance measuring device, while ensuring optimal simplicity and freedom of movement in design, operation and mode of operation, can also be carried out by hand, and in particular the change from automatic to non-automatic exposure setting does not place any conditions on the structure and operation of the illuminance measuring device and can be carried out in any setting position of the same using a single setting operation.
A solution to this problem is achieved according to the invention in that the adjusting devices for exposure time and aperture can either be positively connected either to an automatically movable adjuster depending on an illuminance measuring device or to a manually operated adjuster, and that Depending on the adjustment of a switch from the automatic position to the non-automatic position, the parts of the setting devices for exposure time and aperture that work together with the automatically movable adjuster are brought into one position,
in which they cannot be influenced by means of the automatically movable adjuster, while an exposure value setting can be carried out using the manually operated adjuster. The particular advantages of a camera designed according to the invention consist in the fact that there is no significant additional effort or intervention in the structure to achieve an optional setting of exposure time and aperture either depending on an illuminance measuring device or by hand and the operation of the automatic control device requires.
Rather, due to the non-positive connection of the setting devices for exposure time and aperture, each with a special adjuster for automatic and non-automatic exposure setting, the camera can be changed to the desired setting type by means of a single setting operation and regardless of the respective setting of the illuminance Perform the measuring device.
In the figures and the following description, using two exemplary embodiments, it is shown which embodiments of the subject matter of the invention can be obtained in detail and which particular advantages can be achieved in this way.
1 shows schematically, in a plan view from the rear, a lens shutter which can be fastened to a photographic camera and on the rear side of which parts of an exposure setting device are arranged. The device is in the ready state for a recording with automatic exposure setting.
FIG. 2 shows, in the same way of representation as FIG. 1, a photographic lens shutter with a further embodiment of an exposure setting device.
3 shows schematically the interaction of parts of an exposure setting device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 with an iris diaphragm installed in the rear part of the shutter housing. 4 shows a front view of a lens shutter with the cover plate removed.
The interaction of parts of the exposure setting device according to FIG. 1 with an exposure time inhibitor is shown.
FIG. 5 shows the parts of the exposure setting device according to FIG. 4 in a side view and their mounting on the shutter housing side wall.
Fig. 6 shows a schematic representation of the formation of a manually operable adjuster in an exposure setting device according to FIG. The adjuster is drawn like a slide for better clarity.
In the figures, 100 denotes the housing of a photographic lens shutter. On the back of the same, a pipe socket 100a is arranged in a manner known per se, which serves to take on lenses of the taking lens and to attach the shutter to a camera. Furthermore, an iris diaphragm is installed in the rear part of the closure housing 100, the lamellae of which are denoted by 1 in FIG. These are pivotally mounted in a manner known per se around pins 2 on a stationary bearing plate not provided and are in pin-slot connection 3, 4a with a rotatable adjusting ring 4.
A spring 5, which is attached with its one end to an arm 4b of the ring 4 and with its other end to a fixed pin 6, seeks to keep the ring 4 in one of the smallest aperture corresponding position.
According to the invention, the adjusting device for the diaphragm and also an adjusting device for the exposure time, which is described in more detail below, can either be positively connected either with an adjuster that can be moved automatically depending on an illuminance measuring device or with a manually operated adjuster. Here, the parts of the adjusting devices for exposure time and aperture that work together with the automatically movable adjuster are brought into a position in which they cannot be influenced by means of the automatically movable adjuster depending on the adjustment of a switch from the automatic position to the non-automatic position.
In the exemplary embodiments, the adjuster that can be moved by itself and the adjuster that can be actuated by hand are designed as rings 7 and 8, which are rotatably mounted around the pipe socket 100a on the rear wall of the closure housing. A drive in the form of a spiral spring 10 is assigned to the self-actively movable setting ring 7, one end of which is connected to the bearing axis 11 of a gearwheel engaging in a toothed segment 7a of the ring 7. 1 and 2 show the adjusting ring 7 in its position associated with the tensioned state of the drive spring 10, in which it is held by means of a locking lever 12.
The lever 12 is pivotable about an axis 13 on the rear wall of the lock housing and has a handle 12a and a locking lug 12b, by means of which it engages in a recess 7b of the ring under the action of a spring 14 in the tensioned state of the adjusting ring 7. The pivoting of the locking lever for the purpose of releasing the setting ring 7 and the tensioning of the drive spring 10 for the ring can preferably take place depending on the actuation of the camera or shutter release or depending on the film transport.
In the exemplary embodiments, the drive shaft 11, on which the toothed wheel engaging with the toothed segment 7a of the ring 7, is used to connect the automatically movable actuator 7 to a known illuminance measuring device, not shown for reasons of clarity is attached.
Devices for the automatic adjustment of an adjuster as a function of an illuminance measuring device are known per se and are not the subject of the invention. Such a device could, for example, be designed in the exemplary embodiments in such a way that a scanner can be moved through the shaft 11 and is guided to rest against a stop of the movable part of the illuminance measuring device.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the automatically movable adjustment ring 7 has two control curves 7c and 7d. Of these, the control curve 7c is used to influence the adjusting ring 4 of the diaphragm and the control curve 7d is used to influence an adjusting device described in more detail below for the exposure time with automatic exposure adjustment. These control cams are designed so that the adjustment range of the automatically movable setting ring defines an exposure value range with uniform gradations.
The manually operable setting ring 8 are also assigned two control cams 8a and 8b in the embodiment according to FIG. 2, which take over the loading of the adjusting devices for aperture or exposure time in the case of non-automatic exposure setting.
To connect the automatically movable A setting ring 9 and the manually operated setting ring 8 with the adjusting devices for exposure time and aperture are pivotable levers which are mounted about fixed axes and are under the action of springs. As can be seen from FIG. 3, two levers are assigned to the cover, which are designated by 15 and 16 and are pivotably mounted about a common, fixed axis 17 on the inside of the rear wall of the lock housing. A spring 19, which is placed around the axis 17 and is supported with its two ends on pins 20 and 21 of the lever, seeks to keep the lever 15 in contact with a stop 16a of the lever 16.
The levers 15 and 16 work together with the already mentioned control cams 7c and 8a of the adjusting rings 7 and 8 and for this purpose carry pins 22 and 23, which are guided through the rear wall of the lock housing in movement slots 100c and 100d . Furthermore, the lever 16, which works together with the manually operable setting ring 8, is in a pin-and-slot connection 16b, 24 with the diaphragm setting ring 4.
Two levers 25 and 26 are also used to connect the setting rings 7 and 8 to the adjusting device for exposure time in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2. These levers have a stationary bearing axis 27 arranged in a bore in the closure housing side wall 100b and are in Plant together durable. To cooperate with the cams 7d and 8b of the A collars 7 and 8, the lever pins 29 and 30, respectively. The lever 25 associated with the automatically movable adjuster 7 is also under the action of a spring 31 which keeps it in contact with the ring seeks.
The automatically movable adjuster assigned levers 15 and 25 of the two pairs of levers are pivoted depending on the adjustment of a switch from automatic position to non-automatic position in a position in which they are not influenced by this adjuster bar.
As a switch is used in the Ausführungsbeispie len in an effort-saving and easy-to-use manner, the manually operated setting ring 8, wel cher for this purpose in the AUTO shown in Figs. 1 and 2 and in manual settings described in more detail below is adjustable.
The elimination of the control influence of the self-actively movable setting ring 7 on the levers 15 and 25 takes place in an untangled and functionally reliable manner by means of locking devices controlled by the ring 8, which hold the levers 15 and 25 in their starting positions.
The locking devices each include a lever 32 or 33, which is pivotably mounted about a fixed bearing axis 34 or 35 on the rear wall of the lock housing and is influenced by a spring 36 or 37 counterclockwise. Furthermore, the levers 32 and 33 have a locking lug 32a and 33a, with wel cher they work with the pin 22 of the lever 15 and with a projection 25a of the lever 25 together.
To control the locking lever, the order switching and manual exposure setting ring 8 has two front jumps 8c and 8d, by means of which the levers are pivoted against the action of their springs in an inoperative position when the setting ring is in AUTO setting.
If the setting ring 8, on the other hand, is adjusted from the AUTO setting position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 to the right into a setting position assigned to the non-automatic position, so who the locking levers 32 and 33 are given to action and hold the pivotable levers 15 and 25 fixed in a position in which the control influence of the automatically movable adjuster 7 on the lever is switched off.
To achieve different exposure times, a wheel escapement of a type known per se is used in the exemplary embodiments (FIG. 4). This is fastened to a base plate 38 carrying the parts of the locking mechanism by means of screws 39 and 40 and includes, among other things, an upper and a lower wheel plate 41 and 42, between which gears 43, 44 and 45 of the inhibitor work about axes 46 and respectively 47 and 48 are stored.
Furthermore, the escapement for driving the gears 46 to 48 has a gear segment 49 ausgebil Deten brake lever which cooperates by means of a projection 49a with the main drive part of the lock in a known manner, not shown for reasons of clarity.
The adjustment of the toothed segment 49 takes place as a function of the adjustment of the automatically movable setting ring 7 or the manually operable setting ring B. For this purpose, a one-armed lever 50 is attached to the bearing axis 27 of the pivotable levers 25 and 26, which with a Pin 51 of toothed segment 49 cooperates in the manner shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. The connection of the levers 25 and 26 with their bearing axis 27 is made in Fig. 2 so that the lever 26 cooperating with the Umschah- and manual adjustment ring 8 is firmly connected to the axis 27,
while the automatically movable setting ring 7 influenceable lever 25 is loosely around this angeord net.
The working and functioning of the camera according to the invention described in the exemplary embodiments is as follows: <I> 1. Carrying out a recording with automatic exposure setting For this purpose, the automatically movable setting ring 7 and the switchover and manual exposure setting ring 8 are in the positions shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in which the drive device 10, 11 and the automatic exposure of the camera is switched on.
By pivoting the release lever 12 to the left, the setting ring 7 is released to expire counterclockwise. Depending on the prevailing illuminance, the setting ring is then stopped after a smaller or larger movement path when a scanner connected to it hits a movable part of the illuminance measuring device. The two pairs of levers 15, 16 and 25, 26 for aperture or exposure time lead when the setting ring 7 runs under the action of springs 5 and 31 a pivoting movement controlled by the curves 7c and 7d of the ring 7 in and counterclockwise rotation by.
The movement of the pair of levers 15, 16 is transmitted via the lever 16 to the diaphragm plate 4, while the movement of the pair of levers 25, 26 is communicated to the brake lever 49 of the exposure time inhibitor via the axis 27 and the lever 50. In this way it is achieved that both the aperture and the exposure time are automatically set to a value corresponding to the prevailing illuminance.
The assignment of exposure time and aperture values to achieve a setting range of the automatically movable setting ring 7 with uniform exposure value gradations can be made with an aperture setting range from f / 2.8 to f / 22 and an exposure time setting range from 1 / 3o to 1/250 sec, for example be met as follows:
EMI0004.0012
Exposure time <SEP> aperture
<tb> 30 <SEP> 2.8
<tb> 60 <SEP> 2.8
<tb> 60 <SEP> 4
<tb> 60 <SEP> 5.6
<tb> 125 <SEP> 5.6
<tb> 125 <SEP> 8
<tb> 125 <SEP> 11
<tb> 250 <SEP> 11
<tb> 250 <SEP> 16
<tb> 250 <SEP> 22 This assignment of time and aperture values results in a series of evenly graduated exposure values encompassing the values 8 to 17.
In order to ensure that the automatic light setting is done before the shutter starts to open, a known type of delay can be used that can be released depending on or at the same time as the camera or shutter is triggered be arranged, by means of which the start of the release of the shutter opening can be delayed by a certain period of time compared to the trigger actuation of the camera or the shutter, the latter being selected so that the adjuster controllable by the illuminance measuring device covers its maximum movement path within the same . <I> 2.
Taking a picture with </I> manual exposure setting For this purpose, the switchover and manual exposure setting ring 8 is moved from the AUTO position to the right. In this adjustment of the ring 8 who the first to release the locking lever 32 and 33 from the jumps 8c and 8d before action. Here through the lever under the action of their spring 36 and 37 in engagement with the automatically be wegbaren setting ring 7 associated pivotable levers 15 and 25 and hold them in one of the largest aperture or the longest exposure time corresponding position firmly.
To manually set the exposure time and aperture, the control cams 8a and 8b already mentioned are assigned to the setting ring 8. Of these, the control cam 8a serves to influence the diaphragm and, for this purpose, works together with the pin 23 of the pivotable lever 16 connected to the diaphragm adjusting ring 4. The control cam 8b, on the other hand, is intended to cooperate with the pivotable lever 26, which is firmly connected to the adjusting lever 50 for the exposure time inhibitor.
While the lever pairs 15, 16 and 25, 26 are pivoted as a unit with automatic exposure setting by means of the control cam 7c and 7d of the ring 7, with manual exposure setting, as already mentioned, the levers assigned to the automatically movable setting ring 7 are 15 and 25 locked in the position shown in FIG.
When the switchover and manual exposure setting ring 8 is adjusted, the levers 16 and 26 alone are influenced by the control cams 8a and 8b. The assignment of the exposure time and aperture values which can be set by means of the switchover and manual exposure setting ring 8 can be made in various ways. In particular, this adjuster can also have several, different types of recording with manual exposure adjustment assigned setting areas.
A switchover and manual exposure adjuster designed in this way is shown in FIG. As can be seen from this figure, the adjuster designed as a slide 52 has three adjustment ranges. Of these, the first area is identified by an exposure value scale 53 comprising the values 8 to 17 as well as by the designation MAN and a symbol representing a hand. Control curves 52a and 52b are used to set the time-aperture value pairs corresponding to the exposure values of the scale 53.
Of these, the control cam 52a cooperates with the pin 30 of the pivotable lever 26, while the cam 52b is intended for cooperation with the pin 23 of the pivotable lever 16. The design of the aforementioned setting area on the manually operated adjuster ensures that the camera can still be used even if the automatic exposure setting device fails.
The second setting range of the slider 52 is intended for flash use. In this A setting range, the entire aperture adjustment range is assigned to a single exposure time, for example the time 1/30 sec, for the purpose of performing flash light recordings. The area is characterized by a diaphragm scale 54 and stylized representations of an electronic flash and a combustion flash lamp. The control curves assigned to it for exposure time and aperture bear the reference characters 52c and 52d.
Furthermore, by means of the slide 52, a device known per se for obtaining B-recordings can be controlled. Of this, for the sake of clarity, a single control lever 55 is shown in the execution example, which rests with a bent end portion 55a under the action of a spring, not shown, on a B control cam formed on the slide 52. The B control cam has two partial areas 52e and 52f.
If the slide 52 is in an adjustment position in which the lever 55 rests on the sub-area 52e of the control cam, the B device is switched into the operative position, that is, the lock is activated for the duration of the depression of the Shutter release held in the open position. If, on the other hand, the slide 52 is in an adjustment position in which the lever 55 rests on the sub-area 52f of the control cam, the B device is disabled.
The sub-area 52e of the B control curve is assigned a sub-adjustment area of the slide 52, denoted by B, which includes the entire diaphragm adjustment area from aperture 2.8 to aperture 22. With B-shots, there is the possibility of changing the depth of field by selecting the aperture accordingly, so that the best possible adaptability of the exposure setting to the respective subject is guaranteed.
To set the slide 52, a fixed setting mark 57 works with the scales 53 and 54 and with an aperture scale 56 for B shots. The same mark can be opposed to an adjustment mark 58 marked with AUTO for the purpose of setting the slide to automatic exposure adjustment.
The design of the order switch and manual exposure adjuster described above is intended for use in an arrangement according to FIG. 2, in which two pivotable levers are assigned to both the aperture setting and the exposure time setting. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, on the other hand, only a single pivotable lever 59 corresponding to the lever 25 of FIG. 2 is assigned to the exposure time setting.
The water is firmly connected via the axis 27 to the adjusting lever 50 for the exposure time inhibitor and works with the cam 7d of the self-acting movable setting ring 7 and also with the pawl 33 together. As a result, only a single exposure time, for example the time 1/30 sec, is available for manual exposure setting. With a device designed in this way, there is therefore no possibility of assigning certain aperture values to exposure times of different sizes in a fixed predetermined manner that lead to a series of exposure values with uniform gradation.
