Appareil à égoutter les légumes La présente invention a pour objet un appareil à égoutter les légumes, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un récipient fixe, à l'intérieur duquel est logé concentriquement un récipient rotatif dont les parois sont pourvues de trous d'évacuation de l'eau contenue dans le légume à égoutter destiné à y être renfermé, ledit récipient rotatif étant recouvert par un couvercle amovible, supporté dans sa partie cen trale par un tube fixé dans le fond du récipient fixe,
la partie centrale dudit couvercle étant pourvue d'un évidement correspondant au diamètre intérieur dudit tube pour le passage d'une tige mobile, de section rectangulaire, façonnée en spirale, ladite tige étant engagée dans la partie centrale, formée par une fente rectangulaire correspondant à la section de la tige, d'une rondelle d'entrainement du récipient mobile, ladite rondelle comportant à sa périphérie au moins deux crampons, appuyant contre la surface supé rieure du couvercle,
et étant logée à l'intérieur d'un carter, en forme de cloche, le bord inférieur dudit carter étant fixé au couvercle et son fond supérieur étant pourvu d'un évidement circulaire pour le pas sage de la tige mobile dont l'extrémité supérieure est fixée à une poignée de manoeuvre, le tout étant agencé de manière qu'après avoir introduit le légume à égoutter dans le récipient mobile et avoir fixé sur le récipient mobile le couvercle pourvu de la tige mobile, du carter et de la rondelle,
on exerce une pression de haut en bas sur la poignée de la tige, ce quia pour effet de faire tourner le récipient con tenant le légume par l'intermédiaire de la rondelle à fente dont les crampons appuient sur le couvercle dans le sens du pas de l'hélice de la tige mobile, l'eau contenue dans le légume étant chassée par la force centrifuge à travers les trous d'évacuation du récipient rotatif dans le récipient fixe qui est ensuite susceptible d'être vidé par renversement de l'appa- reil, l'eau s'écoulant à travers l'espace annulaire compris entre les deux récipients.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'appareil objet de l'in vention. La fig. 1 en est une vue partielle en élévation en coupe, suivant la ligne I-I de la fig. 2. La fig. 2 est une vue en plan de la fig. 1. Les fig. 3 et 4 représentent une tige mobile, la fig. 3 étant une vue partielle en élévation, et la fig. 4 une vue partielle de côté.
Les fig. 5 à 7 représentent une rondelle d'en traînement, la fig. 5 étant une vue en élévàtion en coupe, suivant la ligne V-V de la fig. 6, la fig. 6 étant une vue en plan de la fig. 5, et la fig. 7 une vue latérale.
L'appareil représenté comprend un récipient fix$ 1 (fig. 1 et 2), ayant la forme d'une cuvette, par exemple en matière plastique, dont le fond 2, par exemple de forme conique pour l'écoulement de l'eau sur les bords dudit fond, est pourvu dans sa partie centrale d'un tube 3, vertical. L'extrémité in férieure du tube 3 est fermée par une paroi 4 et son extrémité supérieure présente une collerette 5,
des tinée à supporter un couvercle amovible 6.
La face inférieure du couvercle 6 est munie d'un rebord 7, destiné à fixer un récipient rotatif 8, ayant la forme d'une cuvette, logé concentriquement à l'in térieur du récipient fixe 1, le récipient 8 étant des tiné à contenir le légume à égoutter. Le fond 9 du récipient 8, situé à une faible distance au-dessus du fond 2 du récipient 1, présente dans sa partie cen trale un évidement 10 pour le passage du tube 3. La paroi circulaire 11 et le fond 9 du récipient ro tatif 8 sont pourvus de trous 12 pour l'évacuation de l'eau contenue dans le légume à égoutter.
A l'intérieur du tube 3 est susceptible de se dé placer une tige 13 (fig. 3 et 4), de section rectangu laire, façonnée en spirale, ladite tige étant engagée dans la fente 14 (fig. 5 à 7) d'une rondelle 15 d'en traînement du récipient rotatif 8 au moyen de cram pons, par exemple trois crampons 16.
A cet effet, la tige 13 (fig. 1 et 2) traverse une ouverture cen trale 17 du couvercle 6, les crampons 16 de la ron delle 15 appuyant contre la face supérieure dudit couvercle lorsque la tige 13 est actionnée dans sa course descendante par une poignée de manoeuvre 18, par exemple en forme de bouton, fixée à l'extré mité supérieure de ladite tige.
La face supérieure du couvercle 6 présente, en outre, dans sa partie centrale une saillie cylindrique 19, munie d'un filetage extérieur destiné à la fixation d'un carter 20, en forme de cloche, dont le bord inférieur est taraudé et dont la paroi supérieure est pourvue d'une ouverture 21 pour le passage de la tige 13.
Le carter 20 est destiné à servir de butée à la rondelle 15, à la fin de la course ascendante de la tige 13, lorsqu'on détache le couvercle 6, l'ex trémité inférieure 22 (fig. 3 et 4) de la tige 13, recti- ligne, présentant sur l'une de ses faces planes un ergot 23 destiné à retenir ladite rondelle lors du montage de la tige 13 sur le couvercle 6.
L'appareil décrit fonctionne de la manière sui vante : après avoir introduit le légume à égoutter à l'intérieur du récipient rotatif 8, on engage la tige mobile 13 dans le tube support 3 du récipient fixe 1, ladite tige étant assemblée au couvercle 6 après vis sage préalable du carter 20, renfermant la rondelle 15, sur la saillie 19 dudit couvercle. On emboîte en suite le couvercle 6 sur le récipient rotatif 8, l'appa reil à égoutter étant alors prêt à fonctionner.
En exerçant une pression de haut en bas sur le bouton 18, le pas hélicoïdal de la tige-13 fait tourner la rondelle 15 dont les crampons 16 entraînent le couvercle 6 et le récipient 8. L'eau contenue dans le légume est chassée par la force centrifuge contre la paroi circulaire 11 et s'écoule par les trous 12 dans le récipient fixe 1. Lorsque le bouton 18 est venu en contact avec le carter 20, à la fin de la course descendante de la tige 13, on soulève ledit bouton. La rondelle 15 se désolidarise du couvercle 6 qui continue à tourner et la tige occupe la position re présentée en traits mixtes à la fig. 1.
Ce mouvement de va-et-vient de la tige 13 est effectué plusieurs fois jusqu'à ce que le légume soit complètement égoutté. L'eau contenue dans le récipient fixe 1 est ensuite vidée à travers l'espace annulaire aménagé entre les deux récipients en renversant l'appareil.
L'appareil décrit est destiné à l'égouttage de tou tes les espèces de légumes, notamment des salades.

The apparatus shown comprises a fix receptacle $ 1 (fig. 1 and 2), having the shape of a bowl, for example of plastic material, the bottom 2 of which, for example of conical shape for the flow of water. on the edges of said bottom, is provided in its central part with a tube 3, vertical. The lower end of the tube 3 is closed by a wall 4 and its upper end has a collar 5,

The lower face of the lid 6 is provided with a rim 7, intended to fix a rotating container 8, having the shape of a bowl, housed concentrically inside the fixed container 1, the container 8 being tines to contain. the vegetable to drain. The bottom 9 of the container 8, located at a small distance above the bottom 2 of the container 1, has in its central part a recess 10 for the passage of the tube 3. The circular wall 11 and the bottom 9 of the rotating container 8 are provided with holes 12 for evacuating the water contained in the vegetable to be drained.
Inside the tube 3 is able to move a rod 13 (Fig. 3 and 4), of rectangular section, shaped in a spiral, said rod being engaged in the slot 14 (Fig. 5 to 7) of a washer 15 for dragging the rotating container 8 by means of crampons, for example three crampons 16.
For this purpose, the rod 13 (fig. 1 and 2) passes through a central opening 17 of the cover 6, the spikes 16 of the ron delle 15 pressing against the upper face of said cover when the rod 13 is actuated in its downward stroke by an operating handle 18, for example in the form of a button, fixed to the upper end of said rod.
The upper face of the cover 6 has, moreover, in its central part a cylindrical projection 19, provided with an external thread intended for the fixing of a casing 20, in the form of a bell, the lower edge of which is threaded and of which the upper wall is provided with an opening 21 for the passage of the rod 13.
The housing 20 is intended to serve as a stop for the washer 15, at the end of the upward stroke of the rod 13, when the cover 6 is detached, the lower end 22 (fig. 3 and 4) of the rod. 13, straight, having on one of its flat faces a lug 23 intended to retain said washer during assembly of the rod 13 on the cover 6.
The apparatus described operates as follows: after having introduced the vegetable to be drained inside the rotating container 8, the movable rod 13 is engaged in the support tube 3 of the fixed container 1, said rod being assembled to the cover 6 after prior wise screwing of the casing 20, enclosing the washer 15, on the projection 19 of said cover. The cover 6 is then fitted onto the rotating container 8, the drip device then being ready to operate.
By exerting a pressure from top to bottom on the button 18, the helical step of the rod-13 rotates the washer 15 whose spikes 16 drive the cover 6 and the container 8. The water contained in the vegetable is expelled by the centrifugal force against the circular wall 11 and flows through the holes 12 into the fixed container 1. When the button 18 has come into contact with the housing 20, at the end of the downward stroke of the rod 13, said button is raised . The washer 15 separates from the cover 6 which continues to rotate and the rod occupies the position shown in phantom in FIG. 1.
This back and forth movement of the rod 13 is carried out several times until the vegetable is completely drained. The water contained in the fixed receptacle 1 is then emptied through the annular space formed between the two receptacles by overturning the apparatus.
The apparatus described is intended for draining all kinds of vegetables, in particular salads.
