A ce moment, quand l'ajutage a atteint l'extré mité de sa course vers l'avant, le support de stator et le stator lui-même sont déplacés angulairement d'un angle déterminé autour de leur axe, par le dis positif de mise en position du stator. Pendant cette opération, la languette du guide décrit un arc de cercle autour de l'axe du stator. Etant donné que sa pointe est plus voisine de l'axe du stator que l'aju- tage, elle peut passer entre le fil conducteur et l'axe du stator ;

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the machine according to the invention and illustrates, also by way of example, an implementation of the method according to the invention. Fig. 1 is a perspective view, with cutaway, of part of this embodiment.
Fig. 2 is an exploded schematic view of a mechanism included in this form of execution. Fig. 3 is a general perspective view of this embodiment.
As shown in fig. 1, a stator 1 to be wound is inserted into a hollow cylindrical support 3, which surrounds it tightly, and it is held in place by means of locking screws. The cylindrical support is mounted without jëu inside a sleeve chon 5, this sleeve carrying, towards one end, a toothed ring 6.
The crown, the sleeve and the cylindrical support are coaxial with each other, the support 3 being held in the desired angular position by means of a ball locking device 2, which engages in one. a series of housings provided on the outer surface of the support 3, these housings being cut at points of intersection between this surface and a plane perpendicular to the axis of the support.
After the installation, the support is fixed by means of a knurled screw 7. The assembly formed by the stator support, the sleeve and the ring gear is mounted, in a position such that the axis of the stator is horizontal, in a bearing 8, by means of a roller bearing 9, the inner ring of which is formed by a part of the external surface of the sleeve, so that this assembly can rotate freely around the axis of the stator. The stator and its support can then be driven in rotation about their common axis by a toothed wheel 47 (fig. 2) which meshes with the ring gear 6.
The machine can accommodate stators of different dimensions through the use of interchangeable supports, each having the same outside diameter but an internal diameter corresponding to the outside diameter of the stator to be mounted in the support. The bearing is mounted on a base 53 (FIG. 3) in which is housed a mechanism for positioning the stator and on which other parts of the machine are mounted.
A feed member (FIG. 2) 17 is mounted so as to be able to perform a reciprocating movement parallel to the axis of the stator 1. During these movements, a head 11 passes through the bore of the stator. and moves between extreme positions located on either side of the end faces of the stator and spaced from the latter by a distance which is of the same order of magnitude as the diameter of the stator.
The reciprocating movement is communicated to the feed member 17 by a yoke mechanism, comprising a radial arm 26 mounted on the end of a vertical camshaft 34. On the outer end of the arm radial 26 is mounted a lug 21 whose axis is parallel to the axis of rotation of the radial arm and to the axis of the camshaft. This lug engages a slot 22 cut longitudinally in a thick metal bar mounted below a sleeve 24, the longitudinal axis of the slot 22 being perpendicular to the axis of the sleeve, and the plane containing this slot being parallel to the plane of rotation of the radial arm 26.
The feed member 17 is engaged in the sleeve 24, and it can pivot freely around the axis of this sleeve, but the displacement of the driven member along the axis of the sleeve is prevented by two necklaces 25 (only one of which is shown). The slotted bar is held in a position such that the length of the slit is parallel to the base 53 of the machine, one of its ends 27 being held in a slit of a guide 28. The other end is used to operate a counter. 23, which is used to count the movements of the supply member.
The supply member and the sleeve move together in a reciprocating motion, along the axis of this supply member and parallel to the axis of the stator, said supply member being supported by two parts 20 ', 20 "in order to prevent any offset. Towards the end of the feed member adjacent to the stator support is mounted a connector 16 in which is engaged one end of a rod 4 forming the extension of the feed member. At the other end of the latter is mounted a lug 19 which protrudes perpendicularly to the axis of the born web member and which is engaged in a slot of the part 20 'of which the role will be explained later.
The rod 4 of the feed member, which is held in the connector 16 by means of two locking screws, carries at its end the head 11 perpendicular to the axis of the feed member. The conductor to be wound passes through a hole drilled along the axis of the head and leaves through a nozzle 12 carried by this head (FIG. 1).
Various rods 4 can be used carrying heads 11 of different lengths, given that this length is determined by the diameter of the stator and by the distance (perpendicular) between the axis of the stator and the axis of the feed member. , because it is necessary that the fitting 12 is closely adjacent to the notch in which the conductor is to be placed, and is located directly above this notch along a radial line, so that the conductor does not meet the edges notch or does not fall between the insulation and the edges of this notch.
The drive mechanism ensuring the reciprocating movement and the device comprising the feed or- P a ne are mounted on the base 53 (fig. 3) of the machine. and are protected by a cover 54, the rod of the feed member projecting through a hole 55.
The vertical camshaft 34 which operates the drive mechanism is mounted in the base of the machine by means of bearings. Inside this base is arranged the mechanism for positioning the stator which rotates the stator support and the stator itself at a determined angle around its axis at the start and at the end of each stroke of the supply organ.
The camshaft is driven in rotation by a motor by means of bevel gears 30, and causes the rotation of a cam 32 wedged on the lower end of this shaft and which ensures the longitudinal displacement of a follower roller 35 in a guide 36, in order to cause the tilting of a rocker arm 37 about a pivot 39. This tilting in turn causes a longitudinal movement of a rack 46, by means of a link 44, which ensures a rotation of a pinion 45 meshing with the rack and of the toothed wheel 47 ensuring the drive of the stator.
Since this toothed wheel meshes with the ring gear 6 carried by the sleeve 5 of the stator support, a corresponding rotation of this support 3 and consequently of the stator 1 is obtained.
The synchronization of the rotary displacement of the stator with respect to the reciprocating movements of the feed member 17 is determined by the shape of the cam, and the amplitude of this rotation is determined by the ratio between the lengths rocker arm arms, measured from pivot 39.
This pivot 39 carries a rack 38, which can be moved in a slide 43 in order to cause this pivot 39 to slide along the rocker arm, thus modifying the ratio of the distances between this pivot and the ends of the arms. The aforementioned movement is obtained by rotating a crank 41 wedged on a shaft 40, which carries a pinion 42 meshing with the rack 38. After its adjustment, the crank 41 is held in place by a pin 48 (FIG. 3). subjected to the solicitation of a spring.
Guides for directing the conductive wire are mounted on each side face of the stator support. Each guide comprises a tongue 13 and a base 14 (Fig. 1). The base 14 is constituted by a flat annular sector, mounted on the annular lateral face of the stator support 3, and the tongue 13 is constituted by a loop of curved wire, extending at a certain distance from the lateral face of the stator. stator, the ends of the wire being fixed to the base 14. The base of each guide is mounted on an annular lateral face of the stator support 3 and it is housed in a groove 18 cut in a rim of this support.
The guide 13, 14 occupies with respect to the stator an angular position determined by means of a lug 10 which engages in one of several holes 15 spaced angularly from one another, formed in the lateral face of the stator support 3.
The tongue 13 of the guide, in general, has a triangular shape, its point being somewhat rounded, the edges of this tongue being formed by the metal wire, which is rounded and smooth. The tip of the tongue 13 is located in the vicinity of the axis of the stator and during the formation of a conductor loop transversely to the external face of the tongue as described below, the tension of this conductor exerts a traction on the loop which has just been formed, to bring it back to the base of the tongue.
- When the winding has to be wound in notches which are almost diametrically opposed, the plane of the watch lan is then almost normal to the lateral face of the stator, and its base 14 extends over an arc approaching 1800 In the case of a winding having a slightly smaller pitch, the base 14 occupies a smaller angular part of the lateral face of the support 3 of the stator, and the plane of the watchtower makes an obtuse angle with the plane. of the base 14, so that the tip of this tongue is close to the axis of the stator.
According to a variant, the guide could be made of sheet metal, provided that the edge of the tongue is rounded and smooth. A metal wire tongue has the advantage of allowing easy adjustment, providing a peripheral shape such that the loops formed transversely to this tongue easily slide down into the winding slots.
The stroke of the supply member 17 is greater than the distance separating the ends of the two guides fixed to the ends of the stator, so that at the end of a stroke, the nozzle 12 is in a position which, relative to the stator, is further away than the tip of the tongue 13 of the corresponding guide. The nozzle 12 does not meet the tongue 13 during its course, given that the latter takes place while the stator occupies around its axis an angular position such that the tongue is on one side of the path followed by the nozzle, in order to free the passage thereof through the bore of the stator.
The machine is driven by an electric motor 57 of the usual type (fig. 3) actuating a worm gear reduction gear and helical toothed wheel, and connected to the cam shaft 34 by a claw coupling 29 (fig. 2) mounted on the motor shaft connected to the bevel gear 30. The machine can also be operated by hand by means of a flywheel 31, which is also connected to the camshaft by a set of gears. When the flywheel is to be used, the coupling 29 is disengaged by means of a lever 33.
If we refer to fig. 3, a conductive yarn dispenser 49 comprises felt pads 50 for controlling the tension of the yarn, an additional tension control device being constituted by a coil spring 51. The axis of this coil spring is parallel to the plane of the surfaces. friction of the felt pads, and the conductive wire passes, after passing through these felt pads, along the coil spring 51, then through a wire loop 52 located at the free end of this spring, to reach finally to the rod 4 of the feed member.
The helical spring is arranged in such a way that, when the conducting wire is withdrawn by the machine, it bends with respect to the initial position of its axis. When there is slack in the wire, the coil spring tends to straighten out, thereby absorbing the slack formed in the conductor wire. The wire arriving at the feed member passes through a hole made at the rear of the head 11, and passes along this head to exit through the nozzle 12 and then to reach the notches of the stator (fig. 1). ).
The stator may have notches parallel to its longitudinal axis, or notches which are disposed obliquely with respect to this axis, for example helical notches. In operation, when the notches are parallel to the axis of the stator, the guide 20 'is arranged so as to have a slot which is parallel to the stroke of the feed member 17 and, during a stroke of this member, the nozzle 12 moves along a path parallel to the axis of the stator, near the mouth of a notch and parallel to it. If, on the contrary, the notches of the stator are omitted,
the guide 20 'has a helical slot at the same angle as the notches, so that, during a stroke, the nozzle 12 of the supply member 17 follows a helical path close to the mouth of the helical notch .
As indicated above, the born core member 17, during operation, is driven in such a way as to perform back-and-forth movements parallel to the axis of the stator, and during these movements the head 11 passes through the bore of the stator, moving between extreme positions situated on either side of the two lateral faces of this stator and spaced therefrom by a distance which is of the same order of magnitude as the diameter of the stator. stator.
Towards the end of each stroke, the movement of the fitting 12 is considerably slowed down due to the characteristics of the clevis drive mechanism, and at this point the toothed wheel 47 is rotated at an angle. determined, which also causes the rotation of the stator around its axis through a determined angle.
It will be assumed that the feed member 17 has completed a stroke through the bore of the stator, from the opposite end thereof, to arrive in its position closest to the observer. This stroke is called a forward stroke and the following stroke is carried out in the opposite direction and will be called a backward stroke or a return stroke. Note that a loop of wire is formed as the nozzle 12 travels backward along a path (inside the stator) which is parallel to the forward stroke.
The loop forming process is the same at both ends of the stator, with one loop being formed at the end of a backward stroke and the next loop being formed at the end of the consecutive forward stroke.
The nozzle 12 occupies, at the end of a forward stroke, a position closer to the observer than the tip of the tongue of the guide mounted on the face of the stator closest to this observer. While the forward stroke is completed, the stator has been held in a first angular position, where the tab of the guide closest to the viewer is on one side of the nozzle travel plane. 12, in order to avoid any contact with it.
At the end of the forward stroke, the conductor wire which has been brought by the nozzle returns with it and passes through the bore of the stator, to the opposite end of the notch, where it is bent to contour the base of the tongue 13 of the guide mounted on the opposite end of the stator. The wire which leaves the nozzle and extends to the distributor is held under tension by the felt pads and the curved coil spring, so that the wire remains, towards this opposite end, at the bottom of the notch of the stator.
At this moment, when the nozzle has reached the end of its forward stroke, the stator support and the stator itself are angularly displaced by a determined angle around their axis, by the positive device. positioning of the stator. During this operation, the tongue of the guide describes an arc of a circle around the axis of the stator. Since its tip is closer to the axis of the stator than the fitting, it can pass between the conductive wire and the axis of the stator;
but since the base of the tongue is further from the stator axis than the mouth of the nozzle, the forward sloping edge of the tongue contacts the conductive wire extending from the nozzle and passing through the bore of the nozzle. stator, which is thus placed on the underside of the tongue (looking at fig. 1).
During angular movement of the carrier and stator, the tension of the conductive wire causes this wire to slide towards the base of the tongue, so that the part of the wire which passes through the bore of the stator from the nozzle is pulled radially outward by the rear edge of the tongue, to enter the notch from the stator axis.
The rotation of the support and the stator ends when this support has reached a second position, in which the tongue of the guide is angularly offset on the opposite side of the axial plane passing through the nozzle from the starting position. The fitting then performs a return stroke towards the face of the stator, then passes through the bore of the latter and exits to reach a position beyond the end of the tongue of the mounted guide. on the other side of the stator.
During the initial part of this return stroke, as the nozzle moves towards the face of the stator, the tension of the conductor wire causes the return of this wire towards the nozzle, the wire being placed transversely to the rear edge of the nozzle. the tongue and forming a loop which rests on the outer face of this tongue, the slack produced in the wire being absorbed by the helical spring mounted on the distributor. When the feed member continues its return stroke, the tension of the conductive wire causes the displacement of the loop placed transversely to the tongue, so that it descends towards the base of the latter.
The completed loop is then placed transversely at the base of the tongue, on its external face, as shown in FIG. 1 for the already wound turns of the winding.
The front edge of the base of the tongue is placed in such a way that, during the formation of the loop, it is directly opposite the end of the notch in which the conductive wire must be deposited during the race back. As a result, this wire is engaged in the end of the notch at the start of the movement of the nozzle towards the stator and, during the subsequent movement of the nozzle through the stator and then out of the stator. (by its opposite end), the wire is held in the lower part of the end near the notch due to the tension of the wire between the nozzle and the base of the tongue.
The positions of the machine parts for the return stroke are then what they were initially for the forward stroke. Operation then takes place as indicated above, the support and the stator being displaced angularly rearwardly from said determined angle, around the axis of the stator, and at the end of this rotation a second forward stroke occurs. of the nozzle. During these operations, a loop of wire is placed around the tongue of the guide, towards the opposite end of the stator, as previously described for the neighboring end.
By repeating the aforementioned process, a certain number of complete turns are formed, so that a winding formed of several turns is obtained in the selected notches.
The base of the tongue is placed at such a distance from the face of the stator (measured in the direction of the stator axis) that, when the guide is dismantled, the ends of the loops protruding beyond the notches can be applied against the outer periphery of the lateral face of the stator. Furthermore, the guide is spaced from the end face, to make room for the windings which have been wound beforehand and for the parts of these windings applied against the outer periphery of the lateral face of the stator.
The guides can be easily moved, after a winding has been wound up by the machine, by lifting the locating lug 10 holding the base 14 of the guide against the side face of the stator support 3. The guide can be moved. then be inclined around the base of its tongue 13, so that its base 14 moves angularly away from the lateral face of the stator and that the tongue pivots to come and occupy a position parallel to this lateral face.
When the tab is parallel to the side face of the stator, the guide can easily be moved in a radial direction from the axis of the stator, this tab sliding out of the end portion of the winding. The guides can then be placed on the end faces of the stator in another suitable angular position, with a view to the winding of another winding, and the stator support can be moved angularly to a corresponding position in the sleeve 5, its locking being secured as before in the appropriate position by the locking ball and the knurled screw 7.
Connections established between the ends of a series of windings thus formed on a stator make it possible to obtain most of the usual types of stator windings. It is thus possible to carry out the winding without breaking the wire, in the appropriate relative direction, the direction of the winding being able to be reversed when necessary, by means of a switch 56 (FIG. 3).
The machine can be arranged for the purpose of winding a corrugated winding by driving the crown 6 always in the same direction, according to a determined pitch, so that the thread passes through a succession of notches spaced uniformly or irregularly. , as needed, under the action of guides of appropriate dimensions occupying suitable positions on the end faces of the stator support, during successive strokes of the nozzle.
These successive rotations of the stator can be obtained by transferring the movement of the camshaft to the toothed wheel 47 by means of a Maltese cross or an equivalent device.
The machine can also be arranged for the simultaneous winding of a certain number of windings. It will be assumed, for example, that three windings must be wound at the same time. It is then possible to bring three conducting wires through three nozzles mounted on a supply member, these wires simultaneously passing through the bore of the stator and being respectively attacked by each of three guides mounted on each end face of the stator support.
This result can only be obtained if each guide occupies an arc of less than 120o around the stator support.
The stator positioning mechanism could also be of a type such that it rotates the head of the feed member by the required angle at the start and end of each stroke, the stator support can then be fixed. The pinion 45 could, for example, be connected to a pinion mounted on the supply or gane 17 or on a part connected thereto.
In the embodiment described, the stroke of the feed member is constant, but it may be advantageous to be able to vary it. This can be achieved, for example, by using, for the clevis mechanism, a radial arm 26 of variable length.
