Le dispositif de blocage selon l'invention comporte une lame de ressort, fixée par une extrémité à l'une des deux pièces sur la face opposée à l'axe d'articulation, et dont l'autre extrémité libre s'étend vers l'autre pièce et comporte au moins une tête destinée à s'enga ger dans un logement correspondant de l'autre pièce, de manière à s'opposer à l'articulation des deux pièces.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exem ples, trois formes d'exécution du dispositif de blocage faisant l'objet de l'invention.

Dans les fig. 1 à 4, deux pièces 1 et 7 sont articulées autour d'un axe 8 d'une charnière dont les éléments 9 et 10 sont fixés respective ment par des vis 11 et 12 aux pièces 1 et 7. Une lame de ressort 3 est fixée, par une extré mité, au moyen de vis 2, à la pièce 1, sur la face opposée à l'axe d'articulation 8. L'extré mité libre de la lame 3 comporte une tête 4 en forme de T destinée à s'engager dans un logement correspondant pratiqué dans une plaque 5, fixée à l'aide de vis 6 sur la pièce 7.
L'extrémité libre de la lame 3 comporte un biseau 13 tourné vers la pièce 1, tandis que le bord antérieur de la plaque 5 comporte un biseau 14 en sens inverse.
La pièce 1 comprend un évidement 15 sous la lame 3, pour le passage d'une clé 16 dont le panneton 17, quand cette clé est tournée, soulève la lame 3, ce quia pour effet de déga ger la tête 4 du logement de la plaque 5.
Le fonctionnement de ce dispositif est le suivant Lorsque les deux pièces sont dans la posi tion d'assemblage bout à bout, représentée dans les fig. 1 et 2, elles sont bloquées par l'engagement de la tête 4 de la lame 3 dans le logement de la plaque 5. L'articulation 8, 9, 10 ne peut pas fonctionner.
Pour permettre le fonctionnement de cette articulation, il suffit de dégager la tête 4, à l'aide de la clé 16.
En sens contraire, lorsqu'on amène les piè ces depuis la position dégagée, représentée à la fig. 3, jusqu'à la position d'assemblage des fig. 1 et 2, l'extrémité de la lame 3 monte sur la plaque 5, en déformant élastiquement la lame 3, par l'effet des rampes que constituent les biseaux 13 et 14, puis la tête 4 s'engage automatiquement dans le logement de la pla que 5, lorsqu'elle arrive en face de celui-ci.
Les fig. 5 et 6 représentent une seconde forme d'exécution dans laquelle l'évidement 15 est supprimé. La tête 4 comporte alors un prolongement replié formant un oeil 18 qui sert de support et de guide pour la clé 16. Celle-ci comprend deux pannetons 17, de part et d'autre de la tête 4.
La fig. 5 montre bien que, lorsque la clé tourne, ses pannetons prennent appui sur la pièce 5, pour dégager la tête 4 de son loge ment. L'aeil 18 peut d'ailleurs être utilisé pour fixer un anneau, par exemple, servant à dé gager la tête 4 par simple traction.
Enfin, dans la fig. 7, la pièce 5 comporte des mortaises latérales 19, destinées à l'enga gement de tenons 20, appartenant à la pièce 3, de manière à guider et à centrer la tête 4 vers son logement, malgré l'existence d'un jeu éven tuel entre les pièces 1 et 7 à réunir.
Le dispositif de blocage faisant l'objet de l'invention peut recevoir toutes les applications auxquelles il est susceptible de se prêter, et parmi lesquelles on peut mentionner les mon tants d'échelles repliables, les pieds de tables pliantes, les pieds-support pour appareils pho tographiques et caméras, ainsi que tous les coffres, boites, et articles de voyage.

In fig. 1 to 4, two parts 1 and 7 are articulated around an axis 8 of a hinge whose elements 9 and 10 are respectively fixed by screws 11 and 12 to parts 1 and 7.
