The present invention relates to a timepiece with alarm clock comprising an automatic calendar, for example an alarm clock ordinary or travel, round or shaped box.
This timepiece is characterized by the fact that on the main plate of the movement is detachably fixed, on the side of the dial, an auxiliary plate bearing the following components: a central day star with adjoining disc, a toothed crown interior with integral ring for the indication of the dates, of the respective drive cogs of said star and of the date crown at a rate of one division by twenty-four hours, these cogs being driven by the roadway, and finally a wheel triggering of the bell mounted freely around the center axis, on the movement side, and by the fact that the case of the timepiece carries two radial pushers each cooperating with respective means allowing manual adjustment of the disc. days and the date ring,
regardless of the control of these disks by movement. The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention, constituted by an alarm clock. Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof with cutaway.
Fig. 2 is an elevational view of the side of the dial, the latter being removed.
Fig. 3 shows in plan the movement of the clock without auxiliary plate and adjoining gold ganes.
Fig. 4 is a partial axial section taken along the line IV-IV of FIG. 1.
Fig. 5 is a plan view, from below, of the auxiliary plate and of certain members carried by the latter.
In the example shown, the clockwork movement of the clock is housed in an outer casing with a cylindrical wall 2, connecting to a square support plate 3, and in an inner cap 4 whose dirty gold wall, not shown, closes the box, leaving the usual winding keys and time-setting buttons for the hands and the alarm.
The actual movement is arranged between the bridges, not shown, and a main plate 5 (FIG. 3). The roadway 6 of the movement leads, by means of a reduction gear 7 with pinion 8, on the one hand an hour wheel 9 which can slide on the center axis under the action of an elastic bar 10 fixed by a screw 11, on the other hand a toothed wheel 12 which makes one revolution in twelve hours, as does the hour wheel 9.
The housing constituted by the casing 2 and the cap 4 carries, in aligned openings, two radial pushers 13 and 14. The pushbutton 13 can act on a rocker 15 pivoted at 16 in the main plate 5; it is biased by a return spring 17 while the pusher 14 is in contact with a latch 18 mounted on a pivot 19 of the main plate and returned to the rest position by a spring 20.
An auxiliary plate 21 is fixed by three screws 22 on the main plate 5 of the movement. These screws pass through the perforations 60 of the auxiliary plate, the circular circumference of which is adjusted in the cylindrical part of the inner plate 4. This auxiliary plate 21 has, towards its center, a cylindrical rim 23 (FIG. 4) in the form of a barrel. around which can freely rotate a star 24 of fourteen teeth carrying a disc 25 on the outer face of which are marked two series of conventional signs of the days of the week which appear through a window 26 of the dial 27.
The rim 23 and the corresponding perforation 28 of the auxiliary plate 21 form a bearing for a barrel 29 carrying, at one end, a wake-up needle 30 and at the other, the ringing trigger wheel 31, the holes 32 of which are intended to cooperate with two bosses 33 of the hours wheel 9. A bearing washer 34 forced out of the barrel 29, eliminates the axial play of the latter. Barrel 29 with the wake-up trigger wheel rotates freely around the center axis A.
The auxiliary plate 21, which carries the dial 27, is provided with three centering screws 35 with a smooth surface serving to guide a crown 36 having an internal toothing 37 and bearing a ring 38 where the visible numbers from 1 to 31 are written. through a window 39 of dial 27 (see Figs. 1 and 2).
The axis 40 of the toothed wheel 12 passes through the auxiliary plate and carries, at its end close to the dial, a pinion 41 (fig. 2 and 3) which simultaneously meshes with a wheel 42 for driving the date crown 36 and in a wheel 43 driving the day star 24, by means of a pin 44. The automatic control of the crown 36 is ensured by a pin 45 carried by the wheel 42. The gear ratio between the pin 41 and the wheels 42, 43 which have the same number of teeth, is 1: 2 so that the star 24 and the crown 36 are displaced by one tooth in twenty-four hours. Spring jumpers 46 and 47 determine the exact angular positions of star 24 and crown 36.
The active end of the rocker 15 carries a tenon 48 engaged in a notch 49 of a corrector lever 50 mounted on a screw 51 carried by the auxiliary plate 21. This corrector lever has a spout 52 which can engage with the toothing 37 when the user pushes the pusher 13. The rocker 18 has a beak 53 intended to advance the star 24 by one tooth in the direction of needles 54 and 55 of the clock each time the pusher 14.
Following a plane of symmetry, passing through the graduations 12 and 6 of the dial, the hangman has a pusher 56 for blocking the strike.
The desired wake-up time is set by controlling the ring triggering wheel 31 by means of a toothed wheel 57 carried by the auxiliary plate 21, the axis 58 of the wheel 57 passing through the movement and being terminating through the dorsal wall of the box pat a prismatic part on which is mounted a control button for the wake-up needle 30. Thanks to a ratchet 61 biased by a spring 62, the control of the trigger wheel 31 and of the corresponding needle 30 can only be done in the opposite direction to that of the needles 54, 55 of the movement.
