Montre L'objet de la présente invention est une montre dans laquelle des signes horaires indé pendants du cadran sont venus avec une bague entièrement dissimulée dans la boîte, ces signes s'étendant radialement vers l'intérieur en pas sant par-dessus le cadran.
On connaît déjà plusieurs constructions dans lesquelles des signes horaires indépen dants du cadran sont portés par un anneau posé sur le cadran ou par un cercle d'agran dissement entourant le mouvement de la mon tre, la face supérieure de cet anneau ou dudit cercle d'agrandissement étant visible autour du cadran, entre celui-ci et la lunette de la boîte.
Dans ces constructions, les signes horaires étant en relief sur ledit anneau ou ledit cercle ont l'avantage de pouvoir être usinés à vo lonté ; mais un inconvénient de ces construc tions réside dans le fait qu'on ne peut pâs don ner à la face visible de l'anneau ou du cercle des apparences quelconques. Les possibilités sont en effet limitées à cause des signes qui sont en relief sur ladite face.
On connaît aussi des constructions dans lesquelles lesdits signes horaires sont venus avec une bague entièrement dissimulée dans la boîte, par exemple sous le réhaut de cette dernière. Dans ces constructions, on ne peut guère varier l'apparence de la montre davan tage que si l'on utilise des signes horaires rap portés sur le cadran, puisque le support effec- tif desdits signes est entièrement invisible. Seul le prix d'une telle construction est infé rieur à celui d'une construction avec signes rapportés.
La montre, objet de l'invention, est carac térisée par une seconde bague disposée à l'in térieur de la première desdites bagues, entre les signes horaires portés par celle-ci et le cadran, cette seconde bague étant visible et occupant en largeur une zone plus étroite que la longueur desdits signes horaires, de manière que ces derniers dépassent cette bague vers l'intérieur.
Une forme d'exécution de cette montre est représentée, à titre d'exemple, au dessin an nexé dans lequel la fig. 1 en est une vue en plan ; et la fig. 2 est une coupe diamétrale partielle. La boîte de la montre représentée au des sin comprend une carrure-lunette 1 et un fond 2 vissé dans celle-ci. La carrure-lunette 1 porte une glace 3 qui repose dans un cran 4 formé dans cette carrure-lunette, au-dessus d'un ré- haut 5 de cette dernière.
Une bague 6 est disposée à l'intérieur de la carrure 1 de manière à buter contre le ré- haut 5. La bague 6 a des dimensions telles qu'elle est en contact avec la paroi cylindrique de la carrure 1, et arrive, à l'intérieur, à fleur du réhaut 5, de manière à ne pas être visible au travers de la glace 3. Cette bague 6 est venue avec des signes horaires 7 qui s'étendent radialement vers l'intérieur de la boîte. Les si gnes horaires 7 présentent chacun deux facet tes 8 séparées par une arête 9, radiale, incli née vers le fond 2 en direction du centre de la montre, ainsi qu'une facette 10, inclinée dans le sens contraire à l'arête 9 par rapport au fond 2.
Un logement 11, creusé dans la facette 10, est rempli de matière luminescente 12. La bague 6 peut être simplement glissée à l'intérieur de la carrure 1, mais on la fixera de préférence à demeure à l'intérieur de la car rure 1, ou bien en la chassant à force dans celle-ci, ou alors en la soudant à une partie de la carrure-lunette 1.
Une seconde bague 13 très mince, sortie de préférence d'une feuille, puis emboutie, est disposée à l'intérieur de la bague 6. Cette ba gue 13 est logée partiellement dans un évide ment 14 de la bague 6 et elle s'étend au-des sous des signes 7, avec lesquels elle est en contact. La largeur de cette bague 13 est tou tefois inférieure à la longueur des signes 7, de manière que ceux-ci dépassent la bague 13 vers l'intérieur. Les dimensions et la forme initiale de cette bague 13 peuvent être choi sies de manière qu'elle soit solidaire de la ba gue 6, une fois mise en place dans le logement 14 de cette dernière.
Le mouvement 15 de la montre, qui porte un cadran 16, est fixé à l'intérieur de la boîte décrite par l'intermédiaire d'un cercle d'agran dissement 17 qui appuie contre la bague 6, sous l'action d'un cercle 18 venu avec des griffes élastiques 19, qui prennent appui sur le fond 2. Le mouvement 15 est fixé dans le cercle 17 de manière connue, par des vis non représen tées, et le cadran 16 arrive juste au-dessous des signes 7 et de la bague 13.
Dans la montre décrite, on peut obtenir des effets esthétiques très variés, car les sur faces visibles du cadran 16, de la bague 13, des signes 7 et de la carrure-lunette 1 peuvent être choisies à volonté. Lesdites surfaces, ap partenant à des pièces différentes, peuvent en effet être usinées séparément, tout à fait indé- pendamment les unes des autres, ce qui per met de leur donner le fini voulu, sans être li mité dans ses possibilités techniques par l'une ou l'autre des autres pièces en question.
En particulier, la surface visible de la bague 13 peut être terminée à volonté car elle est unie, contrairement aux constructions dans lesquel les il n'y a qu'une bague, visible en partie, et portant des signes horaires en relief, la surface visible de cette bague ne pouvant pas être ter minée à volonté en raison des signes qui rédui sent sensiblement les possibilités techniques d'usinage de ladite surface.

Several constructions are already known in which time signs independent of the dial are carried by a ring placed on the dial or by an enlarging circle surrounding the movement of the watch, the upper face of this ring or of said dial. enlargement being visible around the dial, between the latter and the bezel of the case.
In these constructions, the hour signs being in relief on said ring or said circle have the advantage of being able to be machined at will; but a drawback of these constructions resides in the fact that one cannot give the visible face of the ring or of the circle any appearances. The possibilities are in fact limited because of the signs which are in relief on said face.
There are also known constructions in which said hour signs came with a ring entirely concealed in the box, for example under the flange of the latter. In these constructions, one can hardly vary the appearance of the watch more than if one uses hour signs brought on the dial, since the actual support of said signs is entirely invisible. Only the price of such a construction is lower than that of a construction with added signs.
The watch, object of the invention, is characterized by a second ring disposed inside the first of said rings, between the hour signs worn by the latter and the dial, this second ring being visible and occupying the width a zone narrower than the length of said hour signs, so that the latter exceed this ring inwards.
One embodiment of this watch is shown, by way of example, in the annexed drawing in which FIG. 1 is a plan view; and fig. 2 is a partial diametral section. The case of the watch shown in the figures comprises a caseband-bezel 1 and a back 2 screwed into it. The middle-bezel 1 carries a crystal 3 which rests in a notch 4 formed in this middle-bezel, above a top 5 of the latter.
A ring 6 is arranged inside the middle part 1 so as to abut against the top 5. The ring 6 has dimensions such that it is in contact with the cylindrical wall of the middle part 1, and arrives at the interior, flush with the flange 5, so as not to be visible through the glass 3. This ring 6 comes with time signs 7 which extend radially towards the inside of the case. The hour signs 7 each have two facets 8 separated by an edge 9, radial, inclined towards the bottom 2 in the direction of the center of the watch, as well as a facet 10, inclined in the opposite direction to the edge 9 relative to the bottom 2.
A housing 11, hollowed out in the facet 10, is filled with luminescent material 12. The ring 6 can simply be slipped inside the middle part 1, but it will preferably be fixed permanently inside the case 1. , or by forcibly driving it into it, or by welding it to part of the caseband-bezel 1.
A second very thin ring 13, preferably taken out of a sheet and then stamped, is placed inside the ring 6. This ring 13 is partially housed in a recess 14 of the ring 6 and it extends above under signs 7, with which it is in contact. The width of this ring 13 is however less than the length of the signs 7, so that the latter protrude from the ring 13 inwards. The dimensions and the initial shape of this ring 13 can be chosen so that it is integral with the bay 6, once it is in place in the housing 14 of the latter.
The movement 15 of the watch, which carries a dial 16, is fixed inside the box described by means of an enlarging circle 17 which presses against the ring 6, under the action of a circle 18 come with elastic claws 19, which rest on the bottom 2. The movement 15 is fixed in the circle 17 in a known manner, by screws not shown, and the dial 16 arrives just below the signs 7 and of the ring 13.
In the watch described, very varied aesthetic effects can be obtained, because the visible surfaces of the dial 16, of the ring 13, of the signs 7 and of the middle-bezel 1 can be chosen at will. Said surfaces, belonging to different parts, can in fact be machined separately, quite independently of each other, which makes it possible to give them the desired finish, without being limited in its technical possibilities by the one or the other of the other parts in question.
In particular, the visible surface of the ring 13 can be finished at will because it is plain, unlike the constructions in which there is only one ring, partially visible, and bearing hour signs in relief, the surface visible of this ring cannot be finished at will because of the signs which significantly reduce the technical possibilities of machining said surface.
