Dans la troisième forme d'exécution, mon trée en fig. 3, le mouvement 1 se trouve aussi dans une pièce annulaire 2, ou cadre d'agran dissement, lorsqu'on l'emboîte dans le corps de la boîte qui est une carrure-fond 18-19, ne faisant qu'un. Ici, le cadre d'agrandisse ment qui est accroché à cran dans une feuil lure 20 de la carrure, repose contre son épau lement 21. et déborde la carrure du côté de la glace, bien entendu;
La glace est rendue solidaire de la lunette, mais elle pourrait être indépendante, il va de soi. Une gorge 14 permet de déboîter le cadre d'agrandissement; ce dernier pourrait être une calotte. Dans la quatième forme d'exécution de la fi--. 4, le cadre d'agrandissement 2 est assem blé à la carrure-fond 18-19 en le forçant dans la noyure 32 de cette dernière jusqu'à ce que son épaulement 33 repose contre le fond 34 de ladite noyure;
Le cadre d'agrandissement 2 est ici assemblé à la carrure au moyen d'au moins un ressort 39,à deux branches 39a, représenté en plan en fig. 6a, qui est logé et fixé dans une entaille ou une gorge pratiquée dans le cadre d'agrandissement et dont les extrémités extérieures des deux branches ou lames sont coniques et dépassent le pourtour de cette der nière; la face 40 permet de les faire pénétrer à l'intérieur de la carrure et la face 41 de s'accrocher sous le côté supérieur 42 d'une gorge 43 de la carrure, le cadre d'agrandisse ment s'appuyant sur celle-ci par un épaule ment 24a. de sa partie débordante 24;
Waterproof case with movement fixing device. The object of the present invention is a sealed box with a device for fixing the movement therein, characterized in that the movement is maintained in the body of the box by means of at least one annular part fixed in said body, a gasket being pressed against the latter and the annular part, by one of the elements of the box - base and mirror -, and able to extend into at least one annular space, the annular part presenting means for its dislocation.
The appended drawing represents, by way of examples, several embodiments and a variant of the subject of the invention.
Each of fig. 1 to 4 and 6 to 10 is a partial axial section of one of these embodiments.
lia fig. 5 is a variant of FIG. 4. FIG. 6a is a view of a detail.
The embodiment shown in filg. 1. comprises a movement 1 fixed by the usual keys in an annular part or enlargement frame 2, the collar 3 of which is notched in a rebate 4 of the case body, composed of a middle-bezel 5-6; the collar rests on the shoulder 7 of the rebate and. the glass 8 is made integral with the bezel 6, in a sealed manner.
The enlargement frame 2 extends beyond the middle part and has, in this part, a groove 9 in which a gasket insert 10, shown in phantom in the free state, is partially housed, stretching against the bottom of the case. throat; this lining, which therefore covers the existing seal between the middle part and the enlargement frame, is clamped against them by an oblique surface 11 of the back 12, hooked on notch to the middle part. An annular space 1.3 is reserved between the three parts, middle, back and gasket lining so that the latter can extend; a groove 14, towards the end of the projecting part of the enlargement frame, allows the latter to be disengaged.
With this way of doing things, it is possible to fix the movement well in the box and, by partially accommodating the gasket in the extension frame, to make it integral with the latter, to have it wider and to erase the background a lot, which is important. The way of pressing the joint packing by its edge 10a requires less force from the bottom and can therefore be assembled and removed normally; Consequently, there is no longer any risk of damaging the pivots of the balance axle during its assembly.
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, all the parts are similar to those of FIG. 1; however, in this case, the enlargement frame 2 is force-fitted, by its cylindrical or slightly conical surface 15, inside the core 1.6 of the middle part 5 until the dial 17 rests on the shoulder 20 of said core. The framework of expansion also extends beyond the middle; the gasket lining 10, shown likewise in phantom lines in the free state, is mounted with tension against the casing surface 15 and clamped against the latter and the caseband by such an oblique surface 11 of the back 12 of the box, assembled to notch.
An annular space 13 and a groove 14 are also provided respectively for the liner to expand and for disassembly of the expansion frame. The enlargement frame could have a concentric projection surrounding the dial, so as to abut against the middle part, in place of the dial.
In the third embodiment, my view in fig. 3, the movement 1 is also in an annular part 2, or enlargement frame, when it is fitted into the body of the case which is a caseband-back 18-19, forming one. Here, the enlargement frame which is hooked into a groove 20 of the middle part, rests against its shoulder 21. and extends beyond the middle part towards the mirror, of course;
in addition, the movement is here fixed in the enlargement frame 2 by a flange 22 which is assembled in a notch inside the latter and has an oblique surface 23 to form, with the end of the projecting part 24 of said frame, a groove making it possible to remove it.
The gasket lining 10, mounted tending around the circumference of this projecting part 24, is pressed against the latter and the end of the caseband by the concave and oblique inner surface 25 of the crystal 26, which is controlled by the file 27, fixed to the rim 28 of the caseband; this pressure does not need to be very strong for the crystal to be assembled tightly to the caseband. As a safety measure, the gasket insert still penetrates into the concentric groove 29 of the middle part and it can also extend into the two annular spaces 30 and 31, provided for this purpose; the surface of the ice could be cut by a groove for the same reason.
The crystal is made integral with the bezel, but it could be independent, it goes without saying. A groove 14 makes it possible to disengage the enlargement frame; the latter could be a cap. In the fourth embodiment of the fi--. 4, the enlargement frame 2 is assembled wheat with the caseband 18-19 by forcing it into the core 32 of the latter until its shoulder 33 rests against the back 34 of the latter. said core;
a groove 14 serves to disengage the enlargement frame and the top 22, which is forced inside thereof, has an oblique surface 23 forming, with the end of the part 24 of said part 2 which overflows the caseband 18, a groove for removing it. The enlargement frame 2 could have a collar 35, like my dotted line, which penetrates into a rebate of the caseband and against the bottom of which it would then rest; the gasket lining 10 also stretches against the protruding part 24 of the frame, but it is pressed by the oblique inner surface 25 of the crystal 26, which is here fitted to the inside of the rim 18a of the middle part.
A ring 36 forming a file, made integral with the crystal in one way or another, or not, rests against the middle part under the pressure of the crystal and allows the latter to be removed without damaging it.
The enlargement frame 2, of the variant of FIG. 5, has one or more elastic segments 37 formed by a slot 38; so that the segment acts elastically, that is to say tightens against the wall of the core 32, of FIG. 4 for example, it is bent outwards, so as to increase its radius, as shown.
In the fifth embodiment of FIG. 6, the caseband-back 18-19, the bezel 27 fixed to a notch, the crystal 26 and the gasket 10 are similar to those of FIG. 3.
The enlargement frame 2 is here assembled to the middle part by means of at least one spring 39, with two branches 39a, shown in plan in FIG. 6a, which is housed and fixed in a notch or groove made in the extension frame and whose outer ends of the two branches or blades are conical and protrude beyond the periphery of the latter; the face 40 allows them to penetrate inside the middle part and the face 41 to hook under the upper side 42 of a groove 43 of the middle part, the enlargement frame resting on the latter by a shoulder lies 24a. of its overhanging part 24;
the latter has a flange 24b which forms with the end of the caseband and the adjacent part of the enlargement frame a groove in which the gasket insert 10 is housed, then pressed by the oblique surface 26a of the crystal 26. To remove the flange 22, forced and housed in the enlargement frame, the latter has an internal bevel 44 to make it possible to reach the groove 45 of the flange and to lift it. The enlargement frame will be removed from the caseband by acting on its glue. The head 39b of the spring 39 resting against the concentric bottom of its housing, of which it follows the shape, will be fixed there, for example, simply by crimping.
The seal could be partially housed in a true groove of the extension frame if the latter had a second flange 35, as shown in dotted lines in FIG. 4. At least one wave spring could also be used to hold the magnifying frame, and hence the movement, in the box.
In the sixth embodiment of FIG. 7, the gearbox body 18-19, the bezel 27 fixed in a notch, the glass 26 and the gasket 10 are similar to those of the f i-. 6. </ B> A first annular part or flange 22 hand holds a second annular part 2 or enlargement frame in which the movement is fixed by two keys 47; in this case, the annular part 2 is fitted freely in the middle part 18.
The shoulder 48 of the second annular part 2 is held against the surface 49 of the middle part by the first annular part or flange 22 which is assembled in a notch to the middle part; here, it is the flange which exceeds the latter, carries a groove 50 for its dislocation and it is therefore against it <read the gasket presses and is pressed, as well as against the middle part, by the inner surface 26a of the crystal 26. With a wavy spring surrounding the dial or an elastic element, metallic or not, located between the flange and the extension frame, it is easy to fix the latter elastically in the case.
The flange can, of course, be attached to the caseband other than notch, for example by press fit. Instead of the flange fixing the movement in the case via the enlargement frame, it goes without saying that it can assemble it by pressing on its plate or on the dial, the plate resting on a shoulder of the gearbox body.
It can be seen that it would be easy to fit part of the gasket in a concentric groove in the flange .; the trim would therefore be integral with the flange.
The device for fixing the movement of this sixth embodiment provides the very great advantage of allowing the movement to be placed freely in the box separately or associated with the extension frame., To easily couple the sections of the rod to it. winding in two sections because the movement, like the movement-frame pair of enlargement, can automatically take its correct orientation in the case, then only then be fixed there by the flange.
The device for fixing the movement could comprise an enlargement frame formed of two annular parts joined together by interlocking. This solution is shown in dotted lines in figs. 1 and 2. A first annular part 61, hooked into or force-fitted inside the middle part presses the dial against the shoulder 20 of the latter, via a second annular part 62. The part 62 can be replaced by a cap with a thin bottom which, like the part 61, can be non-metallic.
These last two embodiments make it possible to produce a ninth and a tenth, and this is understood without drawings, by interposing between the two annular parts 61 and 62 an elastic ring made of metal or of a non-metallic material similar to that which 'is used for gasket linings, which elastically presses the dial against the shoulder (the middle.
This ring will be located on the back side and, if it is non-metallic, so as to be a little below the plane of the winding stem, it can be placed beforehand in one or other of the parts. 61 and 62 and penetrate a little in a radial groove, to make it integral; the corrugated metal spring will be discontinuous if it is in the plane of the winding stem, to allow the latter to be placed in the frame of the movement. When the annular piece 61 is forcibly fitted inside the middle part, it must finally come to bear on a surface of the enlargement frame to fix its position in elevation and thus adjust the reaction of the plate. elastic.
In the eleventh embodiment of FIG. 8, the movement is fitted without an enlargement frame and rests by the shoulder 51 of the casing net of its plate 52 on an inner surface 53 of the middle part 54 of the case body which is one with the back 55 and the bezel 56; the plate is held against the seat 53 of the middle part by the annular piece or flange 22 which is fitted in a notch to the oblique inner wall 57 of said seat 53 and presses on a surface 52b of the plate, parallel to that 51.
A shoulder 58, with a groove in the flange, allows it to be dismantled; the gasket, slightly engaged in a lateral groove made in the part of the flange protruding from the middle part, is pressed against the flange and the bottom of the bezel forming the bezel 56 by an inclined surface 59a of the rim of the crystal 59, forced into the bezel.
In the twelfth embodiment of FIG. 9, all the parts of the box are similar to those in fig. 1, but here the movement 1 is simply put, solidly or not, in a metal washer 63, which functions as an enlarging frame and is thin enough to be elastic; it could be divided, during its manufacture by cutting, by notches or more or less wide segments which would create elastic strips.
The dial 17 of the movement is fixed against the shoulder 20 of the caseband - bezel 5-6 by means of a first annular part or ring 64, the collar 65 of which is hooked into a rebate of the caseband 5 and extends beyond that. here, as the enlargement frame of the first form of execution; this ring 64 causes the second annular part, that is to say the washer 63, to give way and thus supports the movement elastically in the body of the box. The seal 10, also partially housed in the projecting part of the ring, is also pressed by an oblique surface 11 of the back, 12, hooked into the caseband.
Depending on the position of the elastic washer, in elevation, it will have to have a radial slot to allow the installation of the winding stem. , In the last embodiment of FIG. 10, all parts except the magnifying frame are similar to those in fig. 2; in this case, said frame is replaced by a washer 65 too, but it does not spring, like that of FIG. 9.
The movement is held elastically in the case, its dial 17 resting against the shoulder 20 of the middle-bezel 5-6, by means of a wavy spring 66, of; rectangular section, which is pressed against the washer by the surface 67 of a ring or first annular piece 68, force-fitted inside the core 16 of the middle 5 until its end 68a abuts against the washer .
The gasket 10 is also clamped against the projecting part of the ring and the middle part by an oblique surface 11. of the bottom 12, similar to that of FIG. 2 and can extend in the same way in the annular spaces 13 and 14.
It should be noted that these fixing devices, allowing the gasket to rest against one of the annular parts. Now the movement in the body of the box, are advantageous because, all things being equal, they provide the place for said garnish.
Of course, the bottom and the mirror can be assembled to the same box body. In a shaped box, the expansion frame could be nested and fixed in one way or another; the gasket packing could be partially accommodated in a groove formed by a rim of the edge part of the enlargement frame and the end of the cap of the box and the movement rest on stamped projections.
When the flange, or a ring, fixes the movement in the case, being nested or not in an enlargement frame, one can of course interpose, between the flange or the ring and the part on which this flange or this ring must press , a metallic or non-metallic elastic element.
