Device for the mechanical removal of the insulation from the ends of wires. Devices for removing the insulation from wires are known, such as wire scrapers, wire strippers and devices which burn off the insulation. For the insulation removal of individual wires, these devices meet the requirements placed on them. If many wires of the same or different diameters have to be stripped at the ends, the aforementioned facilities do not allow efficient, flowing work. It should also be taken into account that when using pliers, the conductor core can easily be damaged when removing the insulation.
The invention relates to a ma machine device for removing the insulation at the ends of wires. In accordance with the invention, this device has a cutting part that can be pushed over the wire, and a relative rotary movement takes place between the wire and the cutting part.
In Figs. 1 to 3, two Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention are shown. FIG. 2 shows the section on line A-A of FIG.
The mechanical device according to Fig. 1 and 2 consists of two main parts, an outer protective part I and an inner cutting part II. The wire 1 is inserted by hand or by a device, not shown, into the adjustable guide element 2 to be adapted to the respective outer wire diameter with the screws 8 and hits on the two arranged radially to the wire 1 and with the screws 9 on the diameters of the bare conductor an adjustable knife 3.
The blades 3 are blunt on the sides facing the conductor core, while the cut surfaces are located on the upper side facing the insulation and radially to the conductor.
The holding piece 4, in which the guide element 2 and the knife 3 are fastened, is set in rotation by the shaft 5. Since the wire 1 is fixed with respect to the knives and is pressed against the knife by hand or by a device not shown, the insulation is scraped evenly down to the conductor diameter without damaging it itself. With the adjusting screw 6, the ever the length of the cut off can be adjusted. The outer piece 7 serves as protection. against contact with the rotating parts.
The parts 4 and 7 have holes, -which are used to control and to expel the scraped insulation.
For the inventive idea of subordinate importance is whether the sclineid part rotates and the wire is stationary, or whether the wire rotates and the cutting part stands still, or whether the cutting part and the wire rotate.
According to Fig. 1 is based on the assumption that the cutting part rotates and the wire to be stripped stands still. In this case, the device is held on Part I by hand or by means of a suitable clamping device, as is the wire to be insulated.
In the event that the cutting part stands still, the shaft 5 naturally falls away. Part 1I is then rigidly connected to part I. In this case, the wire to be stripped is clamped into a device which, in turn, is set in rotation. Part I is held either by hand or by means of a clamping device.
In the event that both the cutting part and the wire rotate, part I is held by hand or clamped in a suitable device. The shaft .5 drives the rotating cutting part. The wire to be stripped is clamped in a device, which in turn is also set in rotation.
Clamping devices for holding the part I, as well as clamping devices for Hal th of the wire, which are stationary or rotating, are well known in the current state of the art. The clamping and on drive devices are not shown in FIG.
In Fig. 3 a further Ausführungsbei is shown game. The wire 1 is pressed against the knife 3 held in the guide piece 4 by the springs 10 and 13. The middle piece 11 is used to adjust the length to be cut off and to fix the knives 3. These knives are only sharpened on the edge that is joined to the insulation.
By rotating the device and the pressure exerted on the stationary wire in the aclisial direction. the insulation is scraped off by means of the sharpened cutting edges of the knife 3. With the screw 6, which is connected to the center piece 1.1, the scraping length can be adjusted as desired. Via the device of FIG. 3, for. B. also a protective cage, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, can be i -ino-ebraeht.
The knives can be adjusted according to the bare wire diameter by means of the screws 12 and the springs 13. They turn around the support points 14.
Another advantage of the illustrated embodiments is to be considered that a plurality of insulation layers, for. B. cotton spinning and enamel layer, etc., can be removed. This is not the case with the devices used to date for removing the insulation.
It is of course also possible to arrange more than two knives in a cutting part, radially to the axis of the same.
