Moulin à sel de table. La présente invention a pour objet un moulin à sel de table, dont le dessin annexé montre une forme d'exécution donnée à titre d'exemple: La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation d'un côté.

Ce moulin comprend une boîte sans fond munie d'un couvercle c' présentant un prolon gement dans lequel est ménagée une encoche e.
A l'intérieur de la boîte b sont logés un cylindre écraseur C dont les tourillons traver sent les parois latérales de la boîte et une planchette p de la largeur intérieure de celle- ci fixée,à sa partie supérieure par deux vis -a et v' faisant fonction d'axe lui permettant de basculer et de venir tangentiellement en con tact à sa partie inférieure avec le cylindre C par l'intermédiaire de la vis Y qui fait pres sion sur elle et cela pour régler la distance de ladite planchette au cylindre permettant ainsi de rattraper le jeu éventuel dû à l'usure et de pouvoir obtenir la grosseur -du sel dé sirée.
Sur chaque tourillon du cylindre C est encastré un levier<I>1,</I> respectivement l' pour l'actionnement du cylindre. Ces leviers sont réunis à leur extrémité par un axe a. Un res sort<I>r</I> agit constamment sur le levier<I>l'</I> de façon à presser un arrêt composé d'un tenon A' encastré sur toute la longueur du cy lindre C contre la planchette p et qui fait en même temps fonction de fermeture infé rieure de la salière. Les 3/4 de la surface du cylindre C est lisse et l'autre quart pré sente de petites dentelures d servant à l'en traînement du sel.
Une bande et deux cou ronnes de feutre<I>f,<B>f</B>, f<B>\</B></I> assurent l'étan chéité entre le cylindre et la boîte. Fonctionnement. Le fonctionnement du moulin représenté est le suivant: La boîte b contenant du gros sel s, on saisit le moulin entre l'index et le pouce, ce dernier étant engagé dans l'encoche e et l'in- dex posé sur l'axe a. On rapproche les deux doigts, ce qui provoque la rotation d'un angle a (voir traits mixtes) à l'encontre du res sort r du cylindre écraseur et par suite l'écra sement du sel entre ce dernier et la plan chette p.
En écartant les doigts, les leviers <I>l</I> et l' et le cylindre reviennent en arrière, ce qui permet de recommencer la manmuvre qui peut être répétée autant de fois qu'il est né cessaire pour obtenir la quantité voulue de sel fin. Pour obtenir la grosseur voulue du sel, il suffira de visser ou de dévisser la vis <I>Y</I> qui fait pression sur la planchette<I>p.</I> la quelle règle l'espace par où s'écrase le sel.
