le tout étant agencé de façon que la rotation dudit cou vercle ne soit provoquée par la. bielle sus mentionnée que lorsque le point d'attache de celle-ci au couvercle a dépaosé une position d'équilibre instable déterminée.

Le dispositif représenté, destiné à com mander le couvercle, 1 d'un briquet pyro- phorique 2, comprend une bielle 3; l'une des extrémités 4 de celle-ci est pivotée à la. par tie 5 du couvercle 1 qui est portée par l'axe de rotation 6, et son autre extrémité 7 est en gagée dans une creusure que possède une plaque profi.lér 8;
cette dernière, disposée dans un logement 9 du corps du briquet 2, est pressée par l'une des extrémités d'un res sort à boudin 10, dont l'autre extrémité prend appui sur le fond dudit logement 9.
La partie 5 du couvercle 1 présente une surface moletée 11 permettant d'actionner celui-ci manuellement pour amener l'extré- mité 4 de la bielle 3 sur la droite 12 passant par l'axe de rotation 6 et par l'axe de la creusure de la plaque 8; c'est-à-dire en un point à partir duquel, lors -de l'ouverture ou de la fermeture du couvercle 1, l'action du ressort 10 collabore à l'un ou l'autre de ces mouvements.
A l'axe 6 sont fixés: -deux disques à cinq dents 13 susceptibles d'être entraînés rota- bivement par un ressort à deux branches 14 fixé d'autre part à l'aide d'un boulon 15 au couvercle 1; les disques 13 actionnent une molette 18 destinée à frotter saur une pierre 15 pour allumer une .mèche 1,61.
Le dispositif représenté fonctionne comme suit: pour l'ouverture du couvercle 1, celui-ci est pivoté manuellement jusqu'à ce que l'extrémité 4 de la bielle 3 soit sur la. droite 1,2, puis à. partir de cette position, il est en traîné par ladite bielle 3 qui est actionnée jusqu'à ce qu'il soit ouvert par le ressort 10, l'extrémité 4 venant alors au point 17; lors de la fermeture du couvercle 1, celui-ci est pivoté manuellement -de façon que l'extré mité 4 de la bielle 3 passe du point 17 à un point situé sur la droite 12, point à partir duquel le ressort 10 et la. bielle 3- colla borent à ladite fermeture.
Il est prévu, dans une variante d'exécu tion, de relier la plaque 8 à la partie 5 du couvercle 1 au moyen -de deux bielles; il est également prévu de disposer -deux ressorts en parallèle dans le logement 9, destinés à venir presser contre la plaque mobile 8. Lors de l'ouverture du couvercle 1, le ressort 14 presse contre une dent de chacun des disques 13 et entraîne ceux-ci rotative- ment ainsi que la molette 1 & .

The device shown, intended to control the cover, 1 of a pyrophore lighter 2, comprises a connecting rod 3; one of the ends 4 thereof is pivoted at the. part 5 of the cover 1 which is carried by the axis of rotation 6, and its other end 7 is secured in a recess that has a profi.lér plate 8;
the latter, arranged in a housing 9 of the body of the lighter 2, is pressed by one end of a coil spring 10, the other end of which rests on the bottom of said housing 9.
