GasturbInenanlage.
Gas turbine plant. The invention relates to a gas turbine system in which the exhaust gases from a fired gas heater working with heat exchange surfaces act on a turbine. On the side of the combustion gases, the heat exchange surfaces of a gas heater are increasingly contaminated by ashes and other solid or liquid residues produced during combustion.
The heat transfer through the heat exchange surfaces is significantly reduced by this contamination. If the exchange area is measured so that it is sufficient in its pure state to transfer the required amount of heat from the combustion gases to the gas to be heated, the gas to be heated becomes too cool or too cool with increasing pollution. the exhaust gases leave the heater too hot.
Conversely, if you measure the gas heater, see above, that it still transfers enough heat with a certain degree of soiling of the heat exchange surfaces, then at the beginning, with less soiling, the heating gases are too cool or too cool. the gases to be heated emerge too hot. In order to prevent the disadvantages occurring in this second case, a burner is arranged according to the invention in the exhaust pipe leading from the heater to the turbine.
You then have it in hand, with the help of the burner to equalize the changing state of the exhaust gases before entering the turbine as a result of increasing pollution of the exchange surfaces.
It is then possible to heat the exhaust gases from the heater at the beginning of operation so that they flow into the turbine in the same condition as when they are heavily contaminated after a long period of operation. Wei ter can still be set the power of the burner of the gas heater in accordance with the state of the heated gas. This means that the state of the heated gases can also be compensated for over a longer period of operation.
It is advisable to change the gas state within certain limits as the load changes; In this case, however, the condition should remain the same despite the contamination of the heat exchange surfaces with one and the same degree of stress. The output of the burner arranged in the exhaust pipe can be adjusted, for example, as a function of the temperature or of the temperature and pressure of the exhaust gases.
The output of the burner arranged in the exhaust line is expediently adjusted in such a way that the temperature of the exhaust gases at the inlet to the turbine decreases with decreasing pressure and increases with increasing pressure. The already mentioned setting of the burner in the gas heater can take place depending on the temperature of the heated gas so that this temperature remains unchanged.
An example of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a gas turbine system according to the invention, Fig. 2 shows the burner control used in the system of FIG.
The working fluid, of which a part flows around in a circuit, is fed into the recuperator 2 in a compressed state by the Ver 1 (Fig. 1). From this a part reaches the fired gas heater 3, which works with heat exchange surfaces,
in order to then flow further into the turbine 5 as heated gas. The working medium flowing out of the turbine finally returns to the compressor 1 through the recuperator 2 and via the cooler 7.
A part of the working medium is branched off from the circuit described and passed through the line 4 to the burner 25 of the gas heater 3, from which the exhaust gases pass through the line 13 into the turbine 6 and finally flow out into the open.
To replace the working medium withdrawn from the circuit, air is sucked in by the compressor 8 and, in a compressed state, is added to the circuit in the recuperator 2.
In order to adjust the amount of this replacement air, a larger or smaller amount can be fed back into the suction line of the compressor through the bypass line 9 which can be adjusted by means of the element 10.
The turbine 5 drives the main compressor 1 and the supercharger 8, while the turbine 6 drives the power generator 12, which delivers the power to a network, not shown. The starter motor 11 is used to put the system into operation.
In line 13, a burner 14 is arranged, with the help of which the temperature of the exhaust gases can be increased. The control element 15 in the fuel supply line adjusts the amount of fuel and thus the burner output in accordance with the temperature sensor 17 and the pressure sensor 20.
The fuel fed to the burner 25 of the heater 3 is set by the control element 26 in accordance with the temperature sensor 27 and the pressure sensor 28. With the setting described, not only the condition of the exhaust gas,
but also the state of the heated gas can be balanced in such a way that the during a prolonged period. Operating time increasing contamination of the heat exchange surfaces in the gas heater cannot have any influence on the operation of the system.
The regulating elements 15 and 26 (FIG. 1) are of identical design. Each control element is through a lever 23 (Fig. 2) with the Tem perature sensor 17 and the pressure sensor 20 in connection. The temperature sensor 17 has a container 16 arranged in the exhaust pipe 13, which is filled with an agent,
its pressure around. the higher the temperature, the higher it is. This pressure is transmitted to the lever 23 via the piston 18 and the spring 19 in a counteracting manner. By means of the pressure sensor 20, the pressure of the exhaust gases is also transmitted to the lever 23 via the piston 21 in the opposite direction to the spring 22.
The output of the burner arranged in the exhaust gas line 13 can be adjusted in such a way that the temperature of the exhaust gases at the inlet into the turbine 6 has a value that is assigned to each degree of load. In spite of increasing soiling in the course of operation, the temperature for each individual degree of exposure then remains unchanged over a longer period of operation.
The burner 25 in the gas heater 3 can be set so that the temperature of the gases at the entrance to the turbine 5 remains unchanged.
Instead of a single burner, several can be used in the line or in the heater, all or only some of which are controlled. Devices other than those described can also be used to regulate the burners, for example the pressure and temperature receivers can be arranged in front of the burner in the line leading from the heater to the power turbine. It is also possible to couple the setting of the fuel quantity supplied to the burners on the one hand in the gas heater and on the other hand in the exhaust line and to undertake jointly sam depending on one and the same pulses.
