La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de fermeture pour un élément tel qu'une porte ou une fenêtre possédant un cadre, caractérisé. par le fait qu'il comporte deux organes de fermeture destinés, sous l'action de ressorts, à s'engager dans des évi dements ménagés dans ledit cadre, ces or ganes de fermeture étant susceptibles d'être déplacés par au moins un organe de traction actionné par un organe de manoeuvre lorsqu'il s'agit d'ouvrir ledit élément.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution du dispositif objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en coupe longi tudinale, et la fig. 2 est une vue en coupe suivant I-I de la fig. 1.
Le dispositif représenté, plus spéciale ment destiné à la fermeture d'une fenêtre à deux vantaux 1 et 2, comporte aux extrémi tés de ces derniers, deux becs de cane 3 et 4; ceux-ci sont reliés par un câble de traction 5, passant dans un orifice 6 que possède une poulie de manoeuvre 7, celle-ci étant située entre les becs de cane et étant destinée à être actionnée rotativement à l'aide d'un axe 8 muni d'une poignée 9; à cet effet, l'axe 8 est adapté à pivotement au vantail 1. Les becs de cane 3 et 4 sont destinés à s'engager dans des gâches ou évidements 10 et 11 mé nagés dans les parties correspondantes 12 et 13 du cadre de la fenêtre.
Chacun des becs de cane susmentionnés possède, d'une part, un épaulement 14 contre lequel presse un ressort à boudin 15 placé dans un logement métallique 16 fixé au vantail 1 et, d'autre part, un prolongement 17 auquel est reliée une des extrémités du câble de traction 5. Celui-ci ainsi que la poulie 7 sont disposés dans un logement 18, limité par le vantail 1 et par une armature 19 figée à ce dernier.
A la poulie 7 est fixé un doigt 20 des tiné à venir s'engager, lorsque la fenêtre est fermée, dans un évidement 21 ménagé dans la paroi correspondante du vantail 2, une ouverture 22 étant prévue à cet effet au travers de l'armature 19. Le doit 20 est des tiné à coopérer avec les becs de cane 3 et 4 pour assurer une fermeture hermétique de la fenêtre.
Pour ouvrir la fenêtre, le dispositif repré senté fonctionne comme suit: A l'aide de la poignée 9, la poulie 7 est actionnée rotativement, le câble 5 s'enroule autour de celle-ci et opère une traction sur les becs de cane 3 et 4 de façon à leur faire quitter les gâches correspondantes 10 et<B>IL</B> et le doigt 20 sort de l'évidement 21, puis nue traction est opérée sur l'axe 9;
pour fermer la fenêtre, il suffit de pousser les vantaux I et \?, les becs de cane 3 et 4 viennent automa tiquement s'engager dans les gâches corres pondantes, la poulie 7 étant ensuite actionnée de façon que le doigt 20 vienne en prise avec l'évidement ? 1.
Il est prévu dans une variante d'exécution non représentée, de relier chacun des becs de cane 3 et 4 au moyen d'une tringle à l'une des extrémités d'un levier fixé à l'extrémité de l'axe 8, dans le logement 18.
Il est également prévu dans une autre variante de remplacer le doigt ?0I par un bec de cane.

The device shown, more specifically intended for closing a window with two leaves 1 and 2, comprises at the ends of the latter, two cane nozzles 3 and 4; these are connected by a traction cable 5, passing through an orifice 6 which has an operating pulley 7, the latter being located between the cane jaws and being intended to be actuated in rotation by means of an axis 8 provided with a handle 9; for this purpose, the axis 8 is adapted to pivot to the leaf 1. The lever nozzles 3 and 4 are intended to engage in the keeps or recesses 10 and 11 formed in the corresponding parts 12 and 13 of the frame of the window.
Each of the aforementioned cane nozzles has, on the one hand, a shoulder 14 against which a coil spring 15 placed in a metal housing 16 fixed to the leaf 1 is pressed and, on the other hand, an extension 17 to which one of the ends is connected. the traction cable 5. The latter and the pulley 7 are arranged in a housing 18, limited by the leaf 1 and by a frame 19 fixed to the latter.
To the pulley 7 is fixed a finger 20 of the tines to be engaged, when the window is closed, in a recess 21 made in the corresponding wall of the leaf 2, an opening 22 being provided for this purpose through the frame. 19. The must 20 is tiné to cooperate with the nozzles 3 and 4 to ensure a hermetic closure of the window.
