Druekgasschalter.
Experimentelle Untersuchungen ergeben bestimmte Beziehungen zwischen Druck, Düsendurchmesser und Schaltleistung. Das für eine bestimmte Schaltleistung ermittelte Volumen des Zylinders kann für verschie dene Spannungen bezw. verschiedene Strom stärken unter Benutzung folgender Regeln verwendet werden: 1. a) Je höher die Spannung ist, zu einem umso späteren Zeitpunkt erfolgt die Auslösung der Schaltstückbewegung, so dass die Beblasuug mit einem umso höheren Druck erfolgt;
Pressure switch. There are pressure gas switches known in which the gas required to extinguish the arc is generated during the switching process. For this purpose, the movable contact is coupled to a compression piston, which compresses the air in the compression cylinder during the switching off movement, thereby blowing the contact point.
This arrangement has the disadvantage that the duration of the interruption arc at the contacts is very long, since the pressure is only generated during and even for the most part only after the contact has been separated, and therefore the blowing current at the point of interruption takes effect too late. Since the contact erosion is greatly increased and the performance of the switch is only used to a limited extent.
If these disadvantages are to be avoided, it is necessary that the compressed gas is available in sufficient quantities and with sufficient excess pressure at the start of the contact separation. The invention relates to a drive with a common drive for the contact separation and for the generation of compressed gas by means of a compression device, the coupling of the contact movement and the compression movement taking place indirectly according to the invention, such as
.that energy is stored during the compression movement at the same time, and that the energy obtained in this way is used to separate the contact, but only after a certain amount of compressed gas has been generated. This arrangement has the advantage that you can get by with one drive device for contact movement and compressed gas generation and still be able to offset the two movements in such a way that a sufficient amount of extinguishing gas at a suitable excess pressure is available when the contact is separated.
Further advantages are that a higher final pressure can be achieved with the same compression work, since the blowing does not have to start at the beginning of the compression, since the compression space can be kept closed until the end of the compression process.
Furthermore, the contact movement can be made completely independent of the compression movement; the former can therefore be designed in terms of its speed curve as it is most favorable for current interruption and arc extinguishing, while on the other hand the characteristics of the compression movement can be adapted to the requirements of the compression process without regard to the contact movement.
In principle, if a completely sealed compression arrangement is required, the type of movement before the opening of the outflow openings is indifferent; because at the speeds in question, the gas is always practically compressed adiabatically.
In practice, however, it has been shown that it is advantageous to let this compression go quickly (suddenly) in order to keep the pressure gas losses caused by the unavoidable leaks in the arrangement, which are proportional to the time and the gas pressure, as low as possible . For this purpose, at every moment before the compression room releases gas to the switch room,
Available drive power taking into account the acceleration or. Deceleration of the masses of the compression arrangement and the friction losses must be greater than the power theoretically required for adiabatic compression. If this is done, a certain amount of gas at the desired pressure is available at the moment of the opening of the compression chamber after the switch room.
This pressure should expediently be kept approximately at this level during the extinguishing burst, i.e. for at least 1 / 10o second, the drop in pressure after the extinguishing to a pressure required for locking depends on the speed of the contact piece and the value of - the recurring voltage. At the usual speed of the end piece of about 2 m / s, the contact piece will have covered a distance of about 2 cm after 1/10 seconds.
It is sufficient to re-inflate with a slight excess pressure during this time. The overpressure is necessary in order to achieve a complete cleaning of the flashover section and to increase the air resistance during the contamination by inflowing ions. If the pressure does not drop too much for a short time (about 2/0 sec.), A rapid pressure drop can then follow.
It is therefore advantageous to design the energy storage device for the compression device so that the force path diagram is roughly hyperbolic, but the compression space is opened after the switching space at a time when the force is still increasing, so that with. Safety is achieved that the pressure drop remains low during the extinguishing surge.
The power reserve in memory respectively. in the moving masses need no longer be large, since after about 2 / .00 seconds the deletion and the most dangerous part of the sealing off are mastered. After about 2/100 seconds, the locking occurs naturally by removing the contact piece. Post-blowing with low pressure can serve as a support.
To achieve the most favorable force distribution, an additional accumulator (additional spring) can be used, which exerts an additional force on the piston shortly before the compression chamber is opened and delivers its force in a short time, namely until the switching path is locked.
The size of the compression cylinder can be determined according to the cut-off capacity. For a given shut-off performance, the volume at the point at which blowing begins can be determined from the diameter of the required nozzle (experimental investigations) and the blowing time required for extinguishing and locking. This volume is made up of the dead space and the compression space.
The required gas volume at atmospheric pressure, i.e. before compression, results from the desired bubble pressure, taking into account the adiabatic compression and the leakage losses.
Experimental investigations reveal certain relationships between pressure, nozzle diameter and switching capacity. The volume of the cylinder determined for a certain switching capacity can BEZW for different voltages. different currents can be used using the following rules: 1. a) The higher the voltage, the later the triggering of the contact piece movement occurs, so that the blowing takes place at a higher pressure;
b) The nozzle passage cross section respectively. the cross-section of the passage from the compression chamber to the nozzle is to be selected narrower, the higher the voltage.
2. a) The greater the current, the earlier the contact piece movement is triggered, so that the greater the volume of gas available for blowing; b) The nozzle passage cross-section respectively. the cross-section of the passage from the compression chamber to the nozzle is to be selected, the greater the flow.
In the energy stores that are charged by .die compression movement, the energy can be as pneumatic, electrical or mechanical as potential spring or weight energy or. Kinetic energy can be stored.
It is expedient to provide special triggering devices through which the onset of the contact movement is brought about as a function of other processes, in particular the position of the drive mechanism of the compression device.
In the drawing Ausführungsbei are shown games of the subject invention. Fig.l shows a pressure gas switch with the compression cylinder 1, in which the piston 2 moves. The cylinder is shown consisting of insulating material. However, the running surface of the cylinder can also be made of metal, whereby sufficient insulation against earth must be ensured.
In the cylinder 1, the fixed con tact pin 3 is attached to several (three in the illustrated case) arms 16. The movable @ mating contact 4 is structurally connected with its movement piston 5 and with the nozzle funnel 6. The metal nozzle funnel 6 slides like a piston in a metal cylinder 7 to which a power supply line 8 is ruled out. The other power supply line 9 is connected to the stationary switching pin 3.
To switch off the piston 2 is moved upwards. The locking device 13 is used to delay the start of the con tact movement. As soon as he piston 2 has covered a certain distance, he triggers by means of the release lever 11 from the latch 12 held by a spring. The solution can also be made dependent on the achievement of a certain pressure in space 10.
Under the influence of the gas pressure, the contact body 4-6 now moves upwards, with the potential compressed gas energy being partially converted into the kinetic energy of the part 4-6, while the piston 2 follows it to its end position. At the moment of contact separation, an arc of light arises between the separating contact edges 14 and 15, which is blown by the escaping gas and driven upwards.
In order to make this blowing effective, the shapes of the pistons 2 and 5 are adapted to the flow conditions. As a result of the outflow, after the piston 2 has reached its end position, the gas pressure in the space 10 decreases, as a result of which the part 4-6 receives ever less kinetic energy. That is why this part must store sufficient kinetic energy in order to reach the switch-off end position at a sufficiently high speed.
Taking into account the friction conditions, the mass of this part must be chosen so large that there is still sufficient speed at the end of the movement.
The stationary switching pin 3 can be provided with an insulating material tip 17 to improve the gas utilization. In this case, the gas cannot escape through the full nozzle mouth cross section, but only through an annular cross section formed by this insulating tip and the nozzle mouth. On the one hand, this improves the blowing of the arc roots as a result of the more complete steering of the gas jet,
Above all, however, the compressed gas consumption for the blowing is significantly reduced, so that a larger part of the energy is available for the switching movement, that is for the acceleration work of the parts 4-6. With otherwise the same conditions, a higher acceleration of the contact movement is achieved, so that the contact piece moves more quickly into the end position after the contact has been separated. In order to obtain a higher speed from the contact separation, an additional power source in the form of train springs 18 can be added.
Fig.2 shows an embodiment in which the switching pin 3 is movable and. the nozzle contact 4 is fixed and the force storage in the compressed gas is only used to act the blowing to be. The fixed nozzle-shaped contact 4 is attached to the compression cylinder 1 and connected to an insulating nozzle 26. The piston 2 is driven by the shaft 21 via a connecting rod 19. The switching pin 3 is also driven by the shaft 22 via a connecting rod 20.
Both shafts are rigidly coupled to one another by the coupling rod 23, so that only one drive is required for both. Would be the connection between. the contact piece 3 and the drive shaft 22 rigid, the movements of the compression piston and the switch pin would start and stop simultaneously. What is desired, however, is an advance in the start of compression. Furthermore, the work required for compression is significantly greater than the switching work.
For this reason, the compression itself requires more time than the switching process, even if the available power is limited. In order to meet these requirements, appropriate arrangements are switched into the switch-off linkage. In the embodiment shown, this is done by the overflow loop 25. First, all of the energy supplied is used to compress the gas and accelerate the compression arrangement.
As soon as the driver mandrel 24 connected to the switch pin is taken along by the loop 25, part of the kinetic energy of the compression and drive arrangement is used to accelerate the switch pin suddenly. The beginning of the switching movement can be shifted as desired compared to the beginning of the compression movement.
Since in this arrangement the linkage is accelerated at the moment of the start of the contact movement, it is advisable to reduce the stresses by interposing springs.
Such an arrangement is shown in FIG. The switching pin 3 here consists of a tube 27 and a pin part 2: 8, which are connected by a tension spring 29. In the part not shown, the arrangement is the same .that of FIG. When switching off the tube 27 is moved. The spring 29 is elongated while. .The pin 28 is initially prevented from moving by the contact friction.
After overcoming the contact friction through the tensile force of the spring, the pin part 29 moves quickly. This arrangement requires a further current transfer point between parts 27 and 28. If this is to be avoided, the spring can be arranged according to FIG .
Here the spring 29 is provided between the connecting rod 20 and the switching pin 3. The ends of the spring are connected to two rings 30 and 31. The ring 30 is rigidly attached to the switching pin. The ring 31 slides on the switch pin. It carries the driving mandrel 24, which is guided in the setting of the connecting rod 20. When switching off, the spring is first tensioned until it overcomes the contact friction between 3 and 4. In the part that is not shown, the embodiment corresponds to FIG. 2.
Fig. 5 shows an arrangement with common drive axles. The compression piston 2 and the switching pin 3 are moved via the connecting rod 19-20 from the common drive shaft 21 to. The switching movement is not triggered here, as in FIG. 3 or 4, depending on the contact friction, but a special triggering device is arranged which causes the triggering depending on the instantaneous position of the drive device. The connecting rod 20 tensions the drive spring 29 via the movable ring 31.
The shift pin 3 is prevented from moving by the locking hook 34. The spring is tensioned until the arm 35, which is rigidly connected to the connecting rod 20, lifts the locking hook and releases the switch pin. By adjusting the arm 35 against the connecting rod, the lag of the switching movement with respect to the compression movement can be adjusted as desired.
In Fig. 6 a similar, but purely pneumatic arrangement is shown. The switching pin 3 is connected to a drive piston 36 which is movable in the cylinder 37. Instead of the spring 29 of FIG. 5, the suction force of the piston 36 is used here in such a way that a negative pressure is generated in the spaces 100 and 38 during the compression movement and the piston 36 experiences a force in the disconnection direction from the atmospheric pressure .
As soon as the friction force of the contacts 3 and 4 'is overcome, the piston 36 with the switch pin 3 starts moving. The triggering can also take place by a device which releases the movement of the piston 36 at a certain overpressure in the space 10 or also at a certain underpressure in the spaces 100 and 38.
By suitable dimensioning of the volumes swept by the pistons 2 and 36 after the switch pin has been released, both an increasing and a decreasing force can be achieved as a drive force of the pin movement.
The contact point of the switch according to FIG. 6 shows an embodiment which enables particularly favorable utilization of the pressure gas. The switching pin 3 has a metal tip 39 which is surrounded by an insulating cylinder 40.
This is attached to the switch pin by ribs 48. Between the tip of the switch pin and the cylinder on the one hand and between the nozzle contact 4 and the cylinder on the other hand, two ring-shaped channels 41 and 42 are created when switching off, through which the gas exits at high speed and high pressure. One arc root point is driven up in channel 41 to the tip of the switching pin. The other base point moves from the nozzle contact 4 to the metal funnel 6.
In the funnel there is a stationary insulating body 43 which has a cup-shaped hollow to accommodate the cylinder 40 in the switched-on state and with the funnel 6 leaves a cone-shaped duct 44 free, into which the arc is blown by all the gas flowing out.
7 and 8 show a further type of adaptation of the switching movement to the compression movement. Both contacts are designed to be movable. However, while one contact is rigidly connected to the compression device, the other contact performs a back and forth movement so that it is in the same position when it is switched off and when it is switched on.
In Fig. 7, the Kompressionszylin of 1 is designed as a cup insulator; The compression piston 2 is connected to the tubular contact piece 53, which simultaneously serves as a piston rod and as a gas supply pipe. The sliding contact 54 is fastened to the beher insulator 1 and at the same time serves as a guide for the switching piece 53. In the switched-on state shown, the retaining pin 3 dips into the bore of the switching piece 53.
It is rigidly connected via ribs 16 with the tube 55 serving as a gas outlet. This tube slides in the stationary sliding contact 56 and is guided by this. Part 3-55 is held in the uppermost position shown by the spring 57. The separation point of the contacts 3 and 53 is surrounded by an insulating jacket 63 permanently connected to the tube 53, in order to direct the gas escaping from the bore of 53 during the contact separation into the tube 5-5 with the switching pin 3 being effectively blown. The arrangement is driven by the shaft 21 via the connecting rod 19.
The connecting rod 19 is ver with .dem switching piece 53 via a joint 58 connected. This joint piece has a nose 5, 9 which is in engagement with a spring 60 fastened to the insulating jacket 63. During the switch-off process, the connecting rod 19 moves downwards. The pivot pin 61 moves to the left in the drawing, while the pivot pin 62 moves vertically downwards.
As a result, the joint piece 58, which takes the parts 3, 63, 55 with it via the spring 60 while tensioning the spring 57, has a relative Drehbewe movement to the contact piece 53, the nose 59 moving with respect to the spring 60 to the right in the drawing . Since the contacts 3 and 53 have not yet performed any relative movement, this first part is used to move the connecting rod 19, to compress the air space 10 and to store the force in the spring 57.
At a certain instantaneous position of the connecting rod 19, the latching between the nose 5'9 and the spring 60 stops. Due to the energy stored in the spring 57 who tore the parts 3, 63, 55 upwards, while the connecting rod 19 relieved of the spring tension presses the piston 2 down with full force. The contacts 3 and 53 move in opposite directions. When the contacts are separated, compressed gas flows through the bore of the contact piece 53 from the space 10 and extinguishes the arc that forms between 3 and 53.
In Fig. 8 .der Compression cylinder 1 is made of metal and is live. The piston 2 has a front shape which is favorable in terms of flow and which is adapted to reduce the dead space of the bottom of the cylinder 1. The filling mandrel 64 serves the same purpose and moves into the bore of the tubular contact piece 53 in the switched-off position. The contact piece 53 carries an insulating funnel 65.
The switching pin 3 also carries a funnel 66, which protrudes into the funnel 65 when switched on, so that when the contact is separated, the gas must escape through the space between the funnels. In order to improve the way of blowing the blower, the switching pin receives an insulating tip 17, as shown in FIG. 1 shows ge. The arrangement is actuated in a manner similar to that in FIG. 7 by means of the connecting rod 19.
The arrangements shown in Figs. 5 and 6 show the structure of the Stützisola gates directly on the grounded Kom pressionsylinder. This design is particularly advantageous in that with multi-phase switches, each phase forms a closed unit and it is possible to create clear multi-phase switches by simply lining up three single-phase arrangements at the desired distance from one another, in which, in particular, the spare parts can be replaced is cheaper.
By normalization of the parts, the same parts can BEZW for different services. use for different voltages. FIG. 9 shows such an arrangement of the switch according to FIG. 5. The compression cylinders 1 wear .die insulators and: are attached to an iron frame 67. The drives of the three phases are connected by the common drive shaft 21.
