Description

  

  Verfahren zur     Herstellung    von     Kontrastmitteln    für die Zecke der  Röntgenphotographie.    Nach dem Hauptpatent ist ein Verfah  ren zur Herstellung von Kontrastmitteln für  die Zwecke der Röntgenphotographie ge  schützt, gemäss welchem man     einen    frisch  gefällten Kontrastbildner mit Zuckerarten  mischt, rasch trocknet und das resultierende  Trockenpulver mit     Pflanzenschleimen    ver  setzt.  



  Es wurde gefunden, dass man Kontrast  bildner für die Zwecke der Röntgenphoto  graphie, die allen     AuMrderungen    im höch  sten Masse genügen, auch erhalten kann, wenn  man einen frisch gefällten Kontrastbildner,  zum Beispiel in der Kälte frisch gefälltes       Baryumsulfat,    mit einem     mehrwertigen    Al  kohol, wie     Erythrit    oder     Mannit,    mischt,  rasch trocknet und das resultierende Trocken  pulver mit Pflanzenschleimen versetzt.

   Das  Trockenpulver kann     entweder    mit getrock  neten und gepulverten Pflanzenschleimen ge  mischt und vor dem Gebrauch in Wasser an  gerührt werden, oder es kann direkt mit  flüssigen Pflanzenschleimen versetzt und  verarbeitet     werden,            Beispiel:     Eine<B>100</B> Teilen trockenen Niederschlages  entsprechende Menge frisch gefällten und  leicht     abgepressten    feuchten     Baryumsulfates     wird mit 12,5 Teilen     Erythrit    versetzt,  innig vermischt und mit Wasser so weit ver  dünnt, dass sie sich in dünner Schicht aus  breiten und bei 70 bis<B>100'</B> rasch trocknen  lässt.

   Das so erhaltene Präparat     wird    ge  mahlen und gesiebt und mit Pflanzenschleim  vermischt.  



  Statt     Baryumsulfat    kann jedes andere  aus wässerigen Lösungen gefällte und für  Kontrastmittel geeignete     Präzipitat    Verwen  dung finden.
