Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 116830. Tasehenkinematograph.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfin dungsgegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung dar gestellt, in welcher Fig. 1 einen senkrechten Schnitt nach der Linie I-1 in Fig. 2 durch den Apparat in ungefähr Zig der natürlichen Grösse dar stellt; Fig. 2 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie II-II in Fig. 1;
Additional patent to the main patent No. 116830. Pocket kinematograph. The subject of the main patent is a pocket kinematograph, in which an axis for receiving the film roll and the mechanism for the gradual movement of the film tape is stored in parallel plates, namely so close to one between the film roll to be used and the mechanism at right angles to the axis of the film roll arranged channel for receiving the optics are moved that a reduction in the dimensions of the apparatus to pocket size is made possible.
According to the present additional inven tion, for the purpose of guiding the film tape past the optics, an elongated, in the area of a ratchet wheel for the gradual movement of the film tape, which engages with its teeth in the perforation of the film tape, is slightly arched and rotatably mounted at one end Plate is provided which, together with another plate, which is pressed against the former by spring pressure and rests on it only at the edge, forms a channel for the film tape.
This arrangement has the advantage of good guidance for the film tape both when the film tape is unrolled and when it is rewound. In the latter case, the film strip can easily be brought out of engagement with the teeth of the ratchet wheel by pivoting the guide plates.
An embodiment of the inven tion subject is shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 is a vertical section along the line I-1 in Fig. 2 through the apparatus in approximately Zig of the natural size is; Fig. 2 is a section on the line II-II in Fig. 1;
Fig. 3 shows the lower part of the Appa rates with inserted microscope and on the latter placed shell to view the film in transparency, and Fig. 4 shows on a larger scale details of the mechanism for the gradual movement of the film strip and the Füh tion of the the latter. In the exemplary embodiment shown, 1, 2 and 3 denote boards that are parallel to one another. In the boards 1 and 3, the axis 5 for receiving: the film roll 6 is mounted on one side of a channel 11 extending perpendicular to this axis for receiving the optics.
On the other side of this channel 11, the mechanism for generating the incremental movement of the film tape 14 in the sinkers 2 and 3 is superimposed, and the upper end of the sinker 2 is bent into a tubular shape to form the channel 11. The mechanism for generating the rubble-wise movement of the film tape has a Mal tesergetrieb, consisting of an eight-pronged star wheel 38 that sits on a rotatable axis 39, and a wheel 40, with a tooth that cooperates with the star wheel 38 and on the rotatably mounted axle 41 is fixed.
On the latter there is a flywheel 42 and a toothed wheel 25 of a transmission for this mechanism, the larger toothed wheel 23 of which is fixed on an axle 45 rotatably mounted in the boards 1 and 3, which has a square 46 for receiving a crank 8 owns. On the axis 5 for the film roll, a square 48 is also provided. With the star wheel 38, a ratchet wheel 49 is connected, the teeth 50 of which engage in the holes 22 of the film tape.
In order to keep the dimensions of the apparatus as small as possible, as in the main patent, the axis 5 for the film roll and the mechanism for generating the incremental movement of the film tape as close as possible to the channel 11 between them for the optics .
Furthermore, the mechanism for producing the step-by-step movement of the film strip, the channel 11 and the part of the axis 5 on which the film roll is attached, is arranged on one side of the plate 3 and the transmission gear 23, 25 on the other side of the plate, which arrangement the close proximity of the roll of film and the rolling mechanism to the channel 11 enables.
To guide the film tape past the optics and to the indexing wheel 49, an elongated plate 5 2 is provided, which is slightly arched in the area of the indexing wheel and is rotatably mounted at one end about a pin 53. The guide plate 52 has a slot 54 for the picture opening and another slot 55 for the teeth 50 of the ratchet wheel 49 to pass through. Another, similarly designed plate 56 is pressed onto the plate 52 by leaf springs 5 7 , which; I support against a bolt 58 and press the plate 5 2 against one of the spacer bolts 52 '.
The plate 56 rests on the plate 52 only at the parts adjacent to its longitudinal edges, as shown in FIG. 4, so that a channel-shaped groove for the film strip is created between the two guide plates 52 and 56. A pin 59 secures the plate 56 against displacement, and the same is provided with slots similar to the slots 54 and 55 of the plate 52.
There is also a 60 rotatable crouch around an axis 60 is provided, which can be adjusted by a pin 62 attached to it. The pin 62 protrudes through a slot 63 (FIG. 3) and slightly beyond the board 2 so that it can be moved by hand. If the pin is moved upwards from the un tern position shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the cam 61 rotated thereby acts on the guide plate 52 and pivots the latter about its axis of rotation 53 so that the film disengages from the ratchet wheel is brought.
It can be readily seen that by turning the crank 8, the single gear 40 of the Geneva gear is rotated via the translation gear 23, 25 and the star wheel 38 and ratchet wheel 49 are rotated in ruelzweise order and thus the film tape is given a step-by-step movement.
If the moving film is to be projected, then, as shown in FIG. 1, a small incandescent lamp 28 in a socket 65 connected to a flashlight battery is inserted into the channel 11 and the image is projected onto a screen with the aid of the lens 66 .
If the film images are viewed in daylight or artificial light in transparency, then, as shown in Fig. 3 Darge, a microscope 28 is used in the channel 11, on which a shell 68 is placed, to support the apparatus on the the eye socket of the observer around framing skull bones.
The apparatus described above is inserted loosely in a sheet metal box 69, in which the free space available for the roll to be attached film to accommodate all accessories, such as shell 68, microscope 28, socket 65 and crank 8, is used, so that, with the exception of Film rolls, the whole device can be housed in the tin box. A sleeve 27 can be pushed over the sheet metal box, which can be closed with a lid (not shown), in which a roller 71 for receiving the unwound film strip is provided on a rotatable shaft 72, which shaft is sliced by means of cord 73 and 74 and a resilient pulling member 75 with the crank 8 is in Drehver connection.
The sliding of the pulling element enables correct unwinding and unwinding, despite the constantly changing diameter of the unwound and wound film tape. If the film tape is to be wound back onto its original roll, from which it was unwound during projection, then the crank 8 is placed on the square 48 of the axis 5, on which the film roll 6 is placed, and the button 62 pushed upwards, whereby the film tape is brought out of engagement with the teeth 50 of the ratchet wheel 49. When the crank 8 is turned, the film tape is then wound onto the roll 6.
Instead of providing a sleeve 27 with axis 72 for winding the film tape on, a small storage stand for an empty roll could be provided so that it can be placed on the boards 1 and 2, with the axis of the roll again via a flexible train organ from the crank 8 could be driven.
A rotating screen could also be built into the device. By enlarging the diameter of the single gear wheel 40, however, the speed of the stepwise movement of the film tape can be increased so much that. a film image is shifted so suddenly that it can no longer be perceived as disturbing by the eye.
Thanks to the new arrangement of the individual parts and their design, it has been possible to create a pocket kinematograph that is housed with accessories in a box that: has external dimensions of 10 X 5.5 X 2.5 cm, i.e. in a normal skirt pocket can be accommodated.
