Sur le chapeau 1 (fig. 1) est disposé un cordon élastique 2 formé par un lien souple dont les extrémités sont reliées l'une à l'au tre et comportent, à cet effet, l'un un boa- ton 3 et l'autre une boucle 4. A l'intérieur du chapeau sont fixés une agrafe 5 et un crochet 6 auquels seront reliées les extrémi tés du cordon 2 lorsque ce dernier sert de jugulaire.
A cet effet, il suffit d'enlever du chapeau le cordon élastique 2, d'ouvrir ce .dernier en dégageant le bouton 3 et la boucle 4 l'un de l'autre, et d'accrocher en suite ce bouton et cette boucle, l'un à l'agrafe 5 et l'autre au crochet 6, comme représenté dans les fi-. 3 et 4. On forme ainsi au moyen du cordon 2, une jugulaire, comme représenté en fig. 2, qui sert à assurer le chapeau sur la tête.
