Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a heating apparatus, comprising a heating body formed of an assembly of several walls among which s a rear wall, bounded by an edge, closes the heating body at the rear, an outlet for gases burned, and possibly a passage, which is provided in the rear wall and in which is arranged an arrival air.
By such heater, one can hearing different devices, such as gas, in particular of the chimney type or of the suction type, liquid fuel appliances, in particular to evapo-ration under pressure or gasification under pressure atmospheric, wood burning appliances and appliances solid fuel. This list is obviously not comprehensive. These devices usually have a back wall or back, which may be cast iron, steel, refractory earth or similar material, and is hooked to the rest of the heating body by means known per se. Any healthy heater also requires a combustion air inlet and an exit of the burned gases.
We also know some poels which, by a change in the internal equipment, are suitable for burn several types of fuel (see for example US-A-4258692 and FR-A-553427).
Finally, a heating apparatus is known coal whose rear wall is formed of three
FEUILLE MODlFIEE -2-sections, the central section being removable and allowing easy access to the evacuation flumes, and therefore their cleaning (see for example FR-A-709454).
GB-1-1151741 discloses apparatus solid fuel heating system which aims at regulating the combustion by means of an air supply, controlled in the solid fuel.
The heating body described in this document, is formed of an assembly of several walls comprising an exit for the flue gases and an arrival passage air.
All these heaters are by otherwise subject to variations in their form and exterior presentation to meet the criteria of fashion and the demands of users. Indeed, as many of these devices are intended to be in rooms housing, aesthetic criteria come into play when their construction and these criteria are changing.
There is therefore a need to satisfy these requests. But this has the effect of modification not only of the apparent part of the bodies of heating, but also simultaneously parts of these devices usually not visible, such as the wall back. But the back wall is equipped with elements important techniques such as the evacuation of flue gases, and sometimes a secondary air inlet or a recuperator of heat.
In addition, it must be taken into account that rear wall and the "technical" equipment of which it is provided differ for all types of FIRE ~ LLE M ~ D ~ F ~ EE
-2bis-heating, a non-exhaustive enumeration was given above. It is obvious that a very big problem of storage of different parts (back walls + apparatus to adapt on this back) whose cost is not negligible.
The present invention aims to solve these problems, in particular to facilitate storage and to reduce the cost of the "technical" part of heating appliances.
For this purpose, according to the invention, a heater as described at the beginning, which comprises c "n" ra.
MODIFIED SHEET
WO 97/3216- 3 -- an opening in the rear wall, opening which has a perimeter edge distance from the edge of the rear wall and which presents standard dimensions, predetermined for a power given the heater but without regard to the model of it or the fuel that it uses, and - an intermediate part, of standard form in function of the fuel used, which is adapted in the aforementioned standard opening, so as to close it waterproof way, and which has a passage opening allowing communication between the inside of the body of heating and said outlet for the flue gases, through evacuation means burnt gases.
We can thus, whatever the model of envisaged domestic stove, provide in the rear wall a standard opening that is suitable for all types of heating appliances of a given power. A
intermediate part, suitably supporting the equipment allowing for example the evacuation of gases burned, various heat exchanges or regulation of the draw, is then adapted in the standard opening, piece whose shape corresponds to the heating appliance to mount, whether it is wood type or rather coal or another. Only the form of this intercalated piece, reduced in size will vary for receive said equipment.
This embodiment is valid whatever the exterior cladding provided for the devices according to the invention. enamelled sheet or lacquered, plastic walls, possibly composites, enamelled or lacquered cast iron, faience, etc ...
that heaters are built-in - or not, in column or of any form, with or without oven high, medium or low, no longer plays role.
WO 97/3216
4 PCTBE97 / 00018 In short, when fashion changes, the manufacturer cant has to modify only the external carcass of the stove always planning in the back wall the same opening for stoves of the same power. Then, in function of the destination given to a stove, that is, say according to the fuel that he will have to burn, an insert and corresponding equipment are adapted in the aforesaid opening. For example, in factory, the manufacturer can thus provide for all his oil stoves of a given power, present and future, an intermediate part equipped in particular with a heat recuperator that will always be the same, even if fashion evolves. It obviously results in ease quite remarkable storage and lowering manufacturing costs of technically useful parts stoves, since they can be manufactured in all great series.
Other embodiments following the in invention are indicated in claims 2 to 11 below.
The present invention also covers a insert to fit in the opening of the rear wall of a heating appliance according to the vention.
Other details and particularities of the invention will emerge from the description given below, nonlimiting title and with reference to the drawings attached.
FIG. 1 represents an axonometric view, partially broken, from the back of an oil burning stove according to the invention.
FIG. 2 is a schematic representation of tick, a sectional view of a charcoal stove the invention.
Dans cette ouverture est adaptée une pièce - 5 -Figure 3 shows, in a schematic way, tick, a sectional view of a next woodstove the invention.
Figure 4 shows, in a schematic manner sic, a sectional view of a liquid fuel stove gasification.
Figure 5 shows, schematically, a sectional view of a gas stove of the type ventou-is.
On the different drawings, the elements identical or similar are designated by the same references.
As is apparent from Figure 1, the apparatus shown is an oil stove 1, of which the heating body has several walls. Only one fragment of the rear wall 2 is shown. This rear wall 2 has a limit edge 40, 40 ', 40 ", and, when assembled with other body walls of heating, it is intended to close the back side the heating body. Inside of it is, of a known manner, divided in two by means of a bottom plate 3. This supports, down, a pot for gasification of known liquid fuel, no represented, and in which opens an air inlet oxidizer. It goes through a passage 4 at the bottom from the back wall 2.
After combustion, the flue gas escapes in the upper part 5 of the heating body.
As is apparent from the example illustrated on Figure 1, the rear wall 2 is in its upper part also provided with an opening 6 whose perimeter edge Phérique 41 is located on all sides at a distance from the edge 40, 40 ', 40 "of the rear wall.
has standard dimensions for all the poques of the same power. In this opening is adapted a room
- 6 -tab 7 which closes it. The spacer part 7 present, it, a passage opening 8 for gases burned, which allows communication between inside the heating body and means of evacuation flue gas.
In this example, the insert has a shape suitable for use in a stove with oil and it supports a housing 9 which has a inlet opening 10 for flue gases, which is adapted in the passage opening 8 of the interchange part.
7, and an outlet opening 11 to which is here connected a nozzle 12, which in turn can possibly to be attached to a chimney example. It is obvious that such a stove can also be provided without this housing 9 and, in this case, the nozzle 12 is connected directly to the passage opening 8.
In the lower part of the case 9, can see in Figure 1 an additional opening 13, which connects the interior of the housing 9 and the external environment. In this opening : 3 one can arrange a valve, possibly adjustable, who is not represented and who serves as a regulator of draw or draft and which, according to the circumstances these, let air into the housing 9.
As can be seen in Figure 1, the housing 9 is supported by the intermediate piece 7 of to leave a slight gap between these two elements. Advantageously the outer face of the intermediate piece 7 is provided with fins favoring a thermal exchange. The insert 7 supports thus a heat recovery unit where air entering into 14 is evacuated at 15 after undergoing a heat exchange.
only by convection.
Figures 2 to 6 show various stoves all of which have the same structure, and in particular an identical rear wall. In this identical rear wall is provided the standard opening mentioned above. Here only the intermediate wall arranged in the standard hole of the rear wall 2 differs depending on the exhaust equipment burned or heat recovery systems that must be supported at the back of the stove.
In Figure 2, we can see a stove with coal which, apart from the back wall, is all made current. On the rear wall 2 is provided a 6 standard opening according to the invention, which is closed by the intermediate piece 7. This is pierced a through hole 8 for the burnt gases. The room insert 7 supports a cleaning flue 20 which leads to the chimney. If, in the example illustrated, an air inlet is provided at the bottom of the wall backward, it is obvious to any skilled person that this air intake is optional and can be removed in the case of very simple poems.
In Figure 3 is shown a stove to wood. On the rear wall 2 is provided the opening 6 standard according to the invention, which is closed by a insert 7 slightly inclined towards the inside.
the stove. The insert is pierced with a passage opening 8 for the flue gases in which can be arranged a heat recovery unit 21. A
the extremity of it is provided a nozzle 12 which communicates with a possible chimney flue.
Here the insert 7 supports, from the side Inside the heater, an air duct secondary 22. This communicates an entry of adjustable air current 23, located below the combustion chamber, and the upper part of it.
In Figure 4, there is shown a stove to liquid gasification fuel. On the wall WO 97! 32164 PCTBE97 / 00018 _ boy Wut _ back 2 is provided here also the standard 6 aperture according to the invention, which is closed by a part insert 7 in which is provided an orifice of passage 8 for the flue gases. An intermediate piece 24 guide these flue gases to a nozzle.
present example the stove can present a regulator of 25 draw, for example in the form of a valve disposed in a lower opening 26 provided in the room 7. It is possible that this secondary air inlet is connected to the outside of the stove to the outside air intake 27, via a communication conduit 28.
FIG. 5 shows a stove with suction type gas. On the back wall 2 is provided the standard opening 6 according to the invention which is closed by an intermediate piece 7 in which is provided a through hole 8 for the burnt gases. A
housing 29 is supported by the insert.
This has an inlet opening 30 for the gases burned and an outlet opening 31 which is for example arranged outside the house in which the stove is installed.
This housing 29, called smoke box, supports an air box 33 having an air intake 34 and a Preheated air outlet 35. This air box enclosure the housing 29 and performs a heat exchange between the outgoing brulee gases and incoming air, coming from the air 34.
When reading the above, we will understand easily that, when changing the model of the stoves, only the outer carcass must be modified, for as long as the standard opening is kept. In this one an intercalary piece and a technical equipment identical to those of the previous model can be adapted.
_ boy Wut _ It should be understood that the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiments above and that many changes may to be made without departing from the scope of the invention indicated in the claims below.
