Abstract

Un téléphone sans fil cellulaire (101) comporte un premier mode de fonctionnement destiné à envoyer et recevoir des appels téléphoniques cellulaires par l'intermédiaire d'un système téléphonique cellulaire (103) et un second mode de fonctionnement destiné à envoyer et à recevoir des appels téléphoniques cellulaires sur un canal radiotéléphonique cellulaire utilisé par une station de base sans fil (115). Le téléphone sans fil cellulaire (101) sélectionne automatiquement soit le premier, soit le second mode et reçoit en provenance du système cellulaire (103) lorsqu'il fonctionne à la radio sur le premier et sur le second mode. Ledit téléphone sans fil cellulaire (101) transmet dans le système cellulaire (103) avec une puissance de sortie ayant une série prédéterminée d'étages d'intensité de puissance lorsqu'il fonctionne sur le premier mode et transmet sur un canal radiotéléphonique cellulaire à la station de base sans fil (115) avec un niveau de puissance choisi de manière à ne pas dépasser l'étape inférieure d'intensité de puissance de ladite série prédéterminée de puissances lorsqu'il fonctionne sur le second mode.
