Abstract

: Caisse de manutention et de stockage, du type de celles comportant une partie latérale rabattable aménagée à la partie supérieure de l'une de ses parois latérales. L'articulation entre la partie latérale rabattable et la partie fixe de la même paroi se fait au moyen de deux axes en forme de manivelle librement montés au-dessus de la partie fixe de cette paroi. L'expérience prouve qulil est 30uvent avantageux, sinon nécessaire, de pouvoir accéder latéralement à une caisse, afin de prélever une partie de son contenu ou d'y introduire des objets ou produits quelconques; et c'est particulièrement, quoique non exclusivement, le cas lorsqu'il s'agit de caisses de grandes dimensions~
La caisse qui fait l'objet de l'invention est, à cet effet, du type de celles comportant au moins une partie latérale rabattable, aménagée à la partie supérieure d'au moins l'une de ses parois latérale~, et son originalité réside dans le fait que l'artlculation entre chaque partie latérale rabattable et la partie fixe de la même paroi se-fait au moyen ;~
de deux axes en forme de manivelle librement montés au-dessus de la partie fixe de cette paroi.

Il est 8vident que l'abattant peut s'étendre sur tout ou seulement sur une partie de la longueur de la paroi considérée, et qu'un abattant peut être prévu non pas seulement sur une, mais sur plusieurs parois de la caisse.
Conformément a ce qui précède, l'invention telle que revendiquée ici est une caisse comportant, essentiellement, un fond et des parois latérales s'élevant du fond et réunies en des coins verticaux, une de ces parois ayant une partie supérieure délimitant entre les coins correspondants une ouverture ayant un bord inférieur et deux bords latéraux; un abattant dont les dimensions sont choisies pour qu'il puisse fermer ladite ouver-ture, et au moins une articulation, a deux axes, comportant un . .

Aux figures 1 et 2, 1 désigne de facon générale une caisse qui est constituée, de préférence, en mati8re plastique moulée et présente une paroi longitudinale 2 s'~tendant sur une partie seulement de sa hauteur, à partir du fond de la caisse.
; Cette paroi 2 delimite ainsi, avec les deux piliers latéraux correspondants 3, une ouverture latérale qui est normalement fermée par un abattant 4 dont la hauteur est telle que, lorsqu'il est en position de fermeture, il s'étend jusqu'au bord supérieur de la caisse.
Cet abattant 4, qui est avantageusement constitué en matière plastique moulée, est articulé a l'intérieur de l'ou-verture précitée délimitée au-dessus de la paroi 2 de la caisse.
