Abstract

"MáQUINA-FERRAMENTA". A presente invenção refere-se a uma máquina-ferramenta (1) compreendendo uma torre da máquina (2) que é linearmente deslocável ao longo de uma via reta (13), com uma cabeça de ferramenta (4) disposta na torre da máquina (2) e com uma ferramenta (5) para o processamento de peças a serem trabalhadas. Um primeiro dispositivo de fixação (25) é disposto no primeiro lado da via reta (13), e um segundo dispositivo de fixação (26) é disposto no outro lado da via reta (13) que fica oposto ao primeiro lado. A cabeça da ferramenta (4) pode ser posicionada de tal modo que pode processar seletivamente uma primeira peça a ser trabalhada no primeiro dispositivo de fixação (25) ou uma segunda peça a ser trabalhada no segundo dispositivo de fixação (26). Inicialmente, a primeira peça a ser trabalhada é fixada no dispositivo de fixação para ser processada, e a cabeça da ferramenta é posicionada de tal maneira que a primeira peça a ser trabalhada possa ser processada. Durante o processamento, a segunda peça a ser trabalhada é fixada no segundo dispositivo de fixação. Depois da primeira peça a ser trabalhada ter sido processada, a cabeça da ferramenta é posicionada de tal maneira que a segunda peça a ser trabalhada pode ser processada. Como resultado torna-se possível arranjar duas peças a serem trabalhadas compridas, independentemente uma da outra, em posição de processamento. O tempo de parada quando as peças a serem trabalhadas são trocadas fica reduzido graças à nova posição da cabeça da ferramenta e é reduzido significantemente em relação ao tempo de parada das máquinas-ferramenta convencionais.
