Abstract

"FILMES DE óXIDO DE POLIETILENO SOLúVEIS EM áGUA". Ainvenção relaciona-se a misturas de uma resina de óxido depolietileno (PEO) e uma emulsão de látex. As misturas são formadasmisturando-se ou revestindo-se uma resina em pó de PEO comuma emulsão de látex e misturando-se até fusão o pó. As misturaspossuem capacidade de processamento e tenacidade melhoradasas quais são benéficas na produção de filmes e fibras baseadosem PEO. Os filmes compostos da mistura de PEO/látex têmtenacidade, capacidade de respiração e resistência ao rompimentomelhoradas e são úteis para a produção de produtos médicos e dehigiene pessoal descartáveis, tais como fraldas absorventesinternos, absorventes femininos e fraldas para incontinênciaurinária.
