Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA DE DETECçãO DE VAZAMENTO EVAPORATIVO AUTOMOTIVO''<D>. Monitor de detecção de vazamento (22, 222) para um sistema de detecção de vazamento de emissão evaporativa que detecta um vazamento de um espaço de emissão evaporativa de um sistema de combustível de um veículo automotivo. Uma concretização (22) utiliza o vácuo do sistema de admissão do motor para ventilar o espaço de emissão evaporativa para a atmosfera quando o motor está funcionando; a outra (222), um acionador eletromagnético (270, 280). A ventilação cessa quando o motor é desligado. As mudanças na pressão de vapor dentro do espaço de emissão evaporativa são monitoradas ao longo do tempo pelos dispositivos elétricos (74, 282) após o motor ter sido desligado para distinguir entre um vazamento bruto, um vazamento pequeno menor do que um vazamento bruto, e um vazamento que é no máximo menor do que um vazamento pequeno.
