Abstract

"USO DE áLCOOL DICLOROBENZìLICO, E, PREPARAçãO PARA TRATAMENTO TóPICO DA INFLAMAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de álcool diclorobenzílico, para produzir uma preparação para tratamento tópico da inflamação e à preparação para esta finalidade. O uso do álcool diclorobenzílico (2,4-DCBA) é conhecido como um agente contra bactérias e fungos, isto é, como um desinfetante. Pela presente invenção, entretanto, resultou surpreendentemente que o álcool diclorobenzílico, preferivelmente álcool 2,4-diclorobenzílico, é também útil para o tratamento da inflamação. A invenção também refere-se a uma preparação contendo álcool diclorobenzílico, preferivelmente álcool 2,4-diclorobenzílico, para tratamento tópico da inflamação, que pode ser aplicado na pele ou mucosa na forma de pomada, creme, gel ou solução. Assim, a preparação resultou ser eficaz contra uma variedade de condições inflamatórias, incluindo doenças da pele, tais como prurido e psoríase, mordida/picada de inseto etc.
