Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"PEPTìDEO COM ATIVIDADE INIBIDORA PARA FUNGOS PATOGêNICOS DE PLANTAS"<D>. Foi descoberto que a lactoferricina tem atividade antifúngica contra patógenos vegetais. São preparadas estruturas genéticas compreendendo um gene sintético para lactoferricina bovina e são usadas para fornecer plantas resistentes a doenças transgênicas. Também é descrito um método de transformar as plantas para expressar lactoferricina a qual é expressa em plantas para prover resistência a doenças àquelas plantas.
