Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"AçO CONTENDO VANáDIO ENDURECIDO POR COZIMENTO"<D>. Artigos laminados tais como folha e/ou tira laminada a quente ou a frio e recozida incluem quantidades eficazes de vanádio em aços de baixo teor de carbono para produzir um produto aperfeiçoado que pode ser endurecido durante cozimento especialmente adaptado para uso em automóveis. O uso de vanádio na química do aço da liga controla a capacidade de endurecimento por cozimento, permite recozimento em solução a temperaturas mais baixas em sua seq³ência de fabricação e especifica uma faixa de composição que é mais facilmente fundida dentro de limites desejados e causa menos variação nas propriedades mecânicas finais. O controle da razão de vanádio para carbono para manter um valor de aproximadamente 10 ou mais também melhora a resistência ao envelhecimento.
