Abstract
[problema] é provido um filtro que pode assegurar eficácia de processamento por um catalisador sem uma perda de desempenho relacionada à eficácia de coleta de pm (matéria de partícula). [solução] a presente invenção provê um filtro que inclui um material de base e uma substância catalítica providos no material de base, em que: o material de base é provido com uma pluralidade de células tendo uma extremidade lateral de influxo e uma extremidade lateral de efluxo e formando um trajeto de fluxo de gás, e uma pluralidade de paredes divisórias porosas definindo estas células, com as porções de extremidades de pelo menos algumas células estando fechadas; e a razão de ocupação para a substância catalítica dentro de orifícios de parede divisória é 10% ou menor.
