resumo processo para uma separação a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição compreendendo uma sílica mesoporosa tendo enxertada na mesma um líquido iônico de maneira a formar uma composição de sílica mesoporosa que oferece desejáveis níveis de funcionalidade, funcionalização superficial específica, e seletividade para separações de gás polar/gás apolar e olefina/parafina. uma concretização particular emprega 3,3-(2,2-bis(hidroximetil)propano-1,3-diil)bis (1-metil-1h-imidazol-3-io)bis(trifluormetil)sulfonil)-amida) sililada como líquido iônico. a composição de sílica mesoporosa poderá ser configurada, por exemplo, como uma membrana.
