Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE ILUMINAçãO PARA SIMULAR LUZ NEON ATRAVéS DO USO DE CORES FLUORESCENTES". Um dispositivo de iluminação simula luz néon e permite a emissão de luz em cores que não podem ser normalmente obtidas pelo uso de LEDs através da incorporação de um sistema de incorporação de cor de luz no dispositivo de iluminação. Este sistema de conversão de cor de luz compreende um meio de transmissão de luz intermediário (22) pintado com uma combinação predeterminada de uma ou mais tintas fluorescentes. A luz emitida da fonte de luz (16) do dispositivo de iluminação é direcionada para o meio de transmissão de luz intermediário (22) e interage com as tintas fluorescentes contidas no mesmo. Esta luz é parcialmente absorvida por cada uma das tintas fluorescentes do meio de transmissão de luz intermediário, e uma luz de baixa energia é então emitida de cada uma das tintas fluorescentes e dentro da superfície de recepção de luz (12) do guia de ondas. Assim, a seleção de combinações apropriadas de tintas resulta em várias cores sendo emitidas do dispositivo de iluminação.
