Abstract
"MOLDE PARA MODELAGEM DE ARTIGOS DE VIDRO E PROCESSO DE FABRICAçãO". A condutividade térmica de moldes para peça bruta e dos moldes para insuflação de ferro dúctil Ni-resist é controlada seletivamente por formação de grafite compactado na microestrutura do molde durante a preparação de peças fundidas e moldadas de corpos do molde. Especificamente, com um ferro dúctil Ni-Resist do Tipo D5 de acordo com ASTM-A-439-84, o grafite compactado é modelado seletivamente na microestrutura fundida do corpo do molde por redução das concentrações de magnésio e de enxofre na composição do ferro na faixa de 0,01 até 0,04% em peso de magnésio e 0,00 até 0,01 % em peso de enxofre e adição de titânio à composição de ferro na faixa de 0,10 até 0,25% em peso de titânio. Embora a formação de grafite compactado em uma microestrutura moldada seja normalmente considerada como sendo indesejável para moldes para modelagem de recipiente de vidro, foi descoberto que a formação de uma quantidade pequena porém apreciável de grafite fornece a oportunidade seletivamente para obter sob medida as características de condutividade do corpo do molde.
