Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE TIRAS DE AçO ELéTRICO DE GRãO ORIENTADO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo para produção de tiras de aço elétrico de grão orientado, em que um aço silício compreendendo pelo menos 30 ppm de S é diretamente fundido na forma de uma tira, tendo de 1,5 a 4,5 mm de espessura e laminada a quente para uma espessura final entre 1,0 e 15 mm, caracterizado pelos seguintes estágios: - resfriamento e deformação da tira solidificada para obter uma distribuição das segundas fases, em que 600 cm^ -1^ < Iz < 1500 cm^ -1^ e Iz = 1,9 Fv/r (cm^ -1^), Fv sendo a fração de volume das segundas fases, estável em temperaturas inferiores a 800<198>C e r sendo o raio médio dos precipitados, em cm; - laminação a frio entre a solidificação e o embobinamento da tira, sob uma temperatura não inferior a 750<198>C, com uma taxa de redução entre 15 e 60%; - laminação a frio com taxa de redução de 60 a 92%; - recozimento da tira laminada a quente sob temperatura de 750-1100<198>C, com aumento do teor de nitrogênio de pelo menos 30 ppm em relação à composição inicial no núcleo da tira, em atmosfera de nitruração.
