Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO E PROCESSO PARA ESTABILIZAçãO ROTACIONAL DE SEGMENTOS DE OSSO". A invenção se refere a um dispositivo para estabilização rotacional de segmentos de osso compreendendo uma placa de osso, um parafuso de assentamento de osso (18), e um colar de travamento (24). O parafuso de assentamento de osso (18) tem uma extremidade de engajamento de osso, uma extremidade distal, e um perfil de seção transversal chavetado, a extremidade de engajamento de osso configurada para engajamento de um primeiro segmento de osso. A placa de osso tem uma porção plana para engajamento de um segundo segmento de osso e uma porção de cilindro tendo um orifício interno para recepção deslizante do parafuso de assentamento (18). O colar de travamento (24) tem um perfil interno chavetado que se adapta com o perfil de seção transversal chavetado do parafuso de assentamento (18) para acoplar rotacionalmente o colar de travamento (24) e o parafuso de assentamento (18) quando o parafuso de assentamento (18) é inserido através do colar de travamento (24), e uma superfície externa configurada e dimensionada para (1) rotação livre, em uma primeira posição, dentro do orifício interno da porção de cilindro da placa de osso, e (2) engajamento friccional, em uma segunda posição, no orifício da porção de cilindro de placa de osso, para resistir ou prevenir a rotação do colar em relação à placa de osso, e, deste modo, resistir ou prevenir a rotação do parafuso de assentamento (18) em relação à placa de osso.
