"MéTODO E DISPOSITIVO PARA A PURIFICAçãO DE UMA SOLUçãO AQUOSA DE UM áCIDO ORG NICO TENDO UM PONTO DE EBULIçãO NA PRESSãO ATMOSFéRICA MENOR DO QUE 450<198>C, MESMO, E, USO DO MéTODO". A invenção refere-se a um método e um dispositivo para a purificação de uma solução aquosa de um ácido orgânico tendo um ponto de ebulição na pressão atmosférica menor do que 450<198>C, que compreende aproximadamente 275 g de íons de carboxilato por litro ou menos, de preferência 250 g de íons de carboxilato por litro ou menos, e de preferência menos de 1% em peso de impurezas iónicas, calculado com base na solução total, e especialmente a um método e a um dispositivo para a purificação contínua e a concentração, em uma escala industrial, de uma solução aquosa de um ácido orgânico tendo um ponto de ebulição na pressão atmosférica menor do que 450<198>C. De acordo com o método, esta solução é submetida a duas ou mais etapas de destilação, a primeira etapa de destilação sendo executada em uma temperatura de 80<198> a 150<198>C e a uma pressão de 50 a 250 mbar, e a segunda etapa de destilação sendo executada em uma temperatura de 80<198> a 200<198>C e a uma pressão de 0,01 a 50 mbar.
