Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "ESTABILIZADORES POLIMéRICOS COM GRANDE AFINIDADE COM PASTA". Estabilizadores poliméricos selecionados com grupos B pendentes nitróxido, hidroxilamina ou sal de hidroxilamónio que são solúveis em água ou dispersíveis em água e têm grande afinidade com pasta ou com papel. Este estabilizadores evitam a perda de brilho e melhoram a resistência ao amarelecimento em pasta ou em papel, especialmente em pasta ou em papel contendo lignina. Estes compostos são adicionados em vários pontos no processo de fabricação de papel, especialmente nas extremidades úmidas, tornando essencial a necessidade de materiais solúveis em água ou dispersíveis em água que tenham grande afinidade com pasta ou com papel. Este desempenho é muitas vezes melhorado ainda mais pela presença de um ou mais co-aditivos selecionados do grupo que consiste em absorventes de UV, nos inibidores poliméricos, nas nitronas, dos agentes de branqueamento fluorescentes e nos agentes queladores de metal. As combinações de hidroxilaminas ou de seus sais, de absorventes de UV benzotriazol ou benzofenona e um agente quelador de metal são particularmente eficazes.
