Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The present invention relates to a new game of the genre known under the name of "puzzle".

The game according to the present invention comprises twelve figures of different configuration, each having an area equal to five times the area of a given square.

The twelve figures are assembled contiguously in a perimeter, preferably in a rectangular box. The possibilities of assembly are numerous and even practically unlimited if we do not limit ourselves to the shape of a rectangle as the surrounding perimeter. the twelve joined figures
The game consists in placing the pieces together as quickly as possible in the chosen perimeter, corresponding to the total surface of the twelve pieces, for example in the box in the shape of a rectangle.

The attached drawing shows the shape that could be given to the twelve pieces.

The part of Figure 1 has the shape of a U; each point designates a square which is reproduced in all the other figures under the same dimensions.

The part according to figure 2 is cross-shaped.

The part according to figure 3 is T-shaped.

The part according to Figure 4 has three parts; a horizontal arm formed of two squares, an arm formed of three squares perpendicular to the first square of the first arm and a fifth square placed laterally on the median square of the vertical arm.

Figure 5 shows an L-shaped piece with two unequal arms, one of the arms being formed of three squares, and the other of two squares, i.e. four squares are placed in succession to form the 'one of the arms ot the fifth square on the last square of the vertical arm.

The part according to figure 6 is formed of four successive squares in a vertical arm with the fifth square on the second square.

    @
The part according to FIG. 7 is in the form of a straight bar with five successive adjacent squares.

The part in Figure 8 shows the shape of the image of a Z in a mirror.

The part in figure 9 is shaped like a W.

The piece of Figure 10 is formed of a square of four small squares, the fifth square being placed sideways against any of the other four squares.

The part of figure 11 has the shape of an L with equal arms.

The part of FIG. 12 is formed by a first arm with three squares and a second arm placed below, contiguously, laterally. on the last square of the first arm.

It is understood that the above game pieces could be; made in all materials, all dimensions, all colors, which they may be adorned with designs, etc.

Parts can be provided with any sign to show that it is either side of the part. This modifies the possibilities of exact placement of the pieces in the desired perimeter depending on whether
