<EMI ID=1.1>

Perfectionnements aux moyens pour distribuer des pâtes et semblables, en particulier les matières ou pâtes destinées à l'alimentation des presses à boulets, qui consistent à communiquer des vibrations aux dites matières ou pâtes dans leur passage à travers le distributeur, grâce ; à quoi une distribution régulière de ces pâtes ou semblables peut être assurée de façon pratiquement automatique;
The invention relates to means for feeding pasta and the like, and relates more especially, but not limited to, the feeding of materials into ball presses.
In presses intended for the manufacture of balls, in particular of the type comprising two conjugate rotating drums, provided
<EMI ID = 1.1>
by a distributor of the corridor type connected to a hopper or feed tank, it is difficult to ensure a uniform and regular distribution of the material to the cells of the drums.
Thus, in the most sophisticated distributors currently in use in ball presses, the passage section of the distribution corridor is curved or profiled in an adjustable manner using one or more shaped and movable members. , the position of which is adjusted by appropriate means in order to make the quantity of material which passes through it more or less equal throughout the length of the passage section, without however being able to dispense with monitoring constant on the distributor in order to ensure a

inherited from various factors. such in particular: the viscosity of the dough, the level of the dough in the hopper or tank above the distributor, which influence this regularity.
The invention overcomes this drawback.
It has in fact been observed that if 'in the feedthrough of the distributor, the paste is subjected to vibrations, the regularity of the flow becomes very largely independent of the aforementioned inherent variations. in particular the level of the dough in the hopper or tank.
In accordance with the invention, in order to distribute pastes or the like, in particular materials or pastes intended for feeding ball presses, the invention consists in imparting vibrations to said materials or pastes in their passage through the distributor.
Thanks to this means, a regular distribution of these pastes or the like can be ensured in a practically automatic manner, and other advantages are also obtained, such as in particular a notable increase in the resistance to crushing of the balls produced.
The vibrations imparted to the materials or pastes can be adapted to the conditions to be satisfied, such as the particular properties of the materials or pastes, in particular their viscosity, by a choice or adjustable of the frequency or the amplitude, or both, of the vibrations applied.
In the implementation of the invention, the vibrations to be communicated to the materials or pastes to be distributed can be transmitted to them by a vibrating member immersed in the materials or pastes or kept in contact with them. Preferably, however, the vibrations are applied to the distributor, either as a whole or to at least one of its parts.
