The invention relates to a tractor, particularly for agricultural purposes, the front end of the frame of which is raised so as to allow it to be connected to implements used for working the soil or the like:
The main object of the invention is to realize the front part of the tractor in such a way that the agricultural implements can be fixed near the front wheels and that they can be supervised by the driver.
In addition, the invention aims to fix the transmission means necessary for steering and actuating the tools so as to protect them against any damage and not to obstruct the view of the driver,
For this purpose, the invention proposes that the frame of the front axle be made in the form of a lattice beam, by pressing the actual axle of the wheels by several vertical supports against a cross member, connected to the axle. end of the frame.
According to the invention, the transmission elements, necessary for steering, such as levers, rods and shafts, are interposed in the hollow cross member and in the vertical supports, also hollow. Likewise, the rods, used to operate the agricultural implements, are guided in the supports. Articulation points are provided on the axle and / or vertical supports and serve to receive agricultural implements, so that the tools can be arranged both in front of the front axle and behind it.
In order to obtain an increased warping of the tractor according to the invention, the curvable side members of the frame are connected to the crosspiece by means of elastic intermediate members.
These intermediate members are usefully constituted by buckling plates of spring steel. The plates are arranged, for example, by repeated folding, and are connected to the side members of the chassis so as to form a torque capable of absorbing the oscillations caused by the unevenness of the ground, of the frame of the rigid axle. 'in itself, consisting of the front axle properly

said, the crossmember and vertical supports shorter in this type of construction, compared to the rear axle.
The rear axle, usually rigidly connected to the rear ends of the frame members, is here arranged rotatably in the ends of the supports, so as not to form an obstacle to the warping of the connection zone between the frame and the rigid rear axle.
Two embodiments, given by way of non-limiting example, are shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the frame of the front axle.
Fig. 2 shows the longitudinal section of one of the supports.
Fig. 3 is a partial view of the freeze l.
Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the front axle frame with the elastic connection between the cross member and the frame members.
Fig. 5 is a front view of FIG. 4, when changing direction between front and rear axles.
Fig. 6 is a side view of the tractor according to FIG. 4.
The chassis, shown in phantom in fig. 1 and constituted in the exemplary embodiment by two U-shaped longitudinal members 1 which may however have another shape, is provided with a cross member 2 and vertical supports 3 and 4 extending downward from the cross member and carrying at their lower end the front axle 5 proper. The crosspiece is produced in the form of a hollow body, formed, for example, according to FIG. 1, of a pressed sheet metal part with a U-shaped cross section or closed on all sides. The supports 4 and the supports 3 are hollow.
The ends 6 folded upwards of the rockets 7 are interposed in the supports 3 so as to be able to move vertically. By means of springs 8 each axle arm is resiliently suspended. Shafts 9 extend the ends 6 of the axle and pass through the interior of the supports 3 upwards to the interior of the cross member where they are connected to the levers 10 which, in turn, are articulated to the guide levers 12 by the intermediary of the rods 11. The steering shaft 14 protrudes from the box of the steering shaft 13 which is fixed. on the crossbar.
The agricultural tool serving as an example is shown in FIG. 3 in the form of arms 15, tilting in the vertical plane and which can be used, for example, as a bearing support for a loading bench or the like. These arms are articulated at the front articulation points 16. The actuating links for tilting the arms 15 and each constituted by a lever 17, a drawbar 18 and another lever 19, are guided inside the flanges of the bearing 20, carrying the articulation points 22, and pass through the hollow vertical supports 4 to the cross member 2 in which the shaft 21 operates mechanically or hydraulically actuated.
For agricultural implements which are to be placed behind the front axle, the articulation points 22, corresponding to the articulation points 16, are provided. In addition, the supports 4 are provided, above the front axle 5, with other articulation points 23 capable of receiving, for example, lifting devices in the form of a parallelogram.
In the example of execution according to figs, 4 to 6, the frame of the front axle is constituted by the axle 5, the supports 4 and the cross member 2.
The axle frame itself is rigid.
The supports are shorter than those of the execution example according to fig. 1, so that the crosspiece is disposed at a relatively low point. The frame which is arranged above the front axle, approximately at the same height as in the example of execution according to figure 1, is made up of the side members 1 which are made in the form of left U-profiles. - chissable. The front ends of the side members are connected to the cross member 2 by plates 24, made of spring steel, forming the intermediate members.

elastic res.
By the camber in the vertical of the upper and lower connecting ends of these plates, as well as by the inclined position of the central part of the plates and their connection to the webs of the U-profiles, arranged on the inner face of the frame , the oscillations of the front axle are absorbed by a torque allowing the individual warping of each side member and the efficient transmission of the traction force. The rear axle 25 which, in tractors of usual construction, is rigidly fixed to the frame, is here arranged rotatably in the side members.
CLAIMS. 1. Tractor, in particular agricultural tractor, the front end of the chassis of which is raised, characterized in that the frame of the front axle is made in the form of a lattice beam by pressing the axle against a crossmember connected to the frame, and this, by means of several vertical supports.
