FERMOIR La présente invention a pour objet un fermoir pour articles de maroquinerie, gainerie, articles de voyages, boîtes et coffrets de tous genres.
Ce fermoir oomprend d'une- part une pièce pourvue d'une patte à mentonnet et, d'autre part, un corps où peut s'engager la dite patte qui s'y trouve maintenue jusqu'à ce qu'on agisse d'une manière appropriée sur une partie mobile du corps.
!!Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, deux formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.

Suivant les fig. 1 à 3, le fermoir est constitué de

deux parties : unetête 1 fixée à la partie mobile de l'objet à fermer et un corps 3, assujetti à la partie fixe du dit objet. La tête 1 est munie d'une patte à mentonnet 2. Le corps 3 porte en saillie un bossage cylindrique 4, qui est coiffé d'un chapeau 5, .
Le fond supérieur du bossage 4 et celui du chapeau 5 sont percés d'un trou central que traverse un rivet creux 6, laissant le cha- peau libre de tourner, Ce rivet maintient sous le fond du bossage un ressort en croix 7.
Le bossage 4 est percé sur son pourtour d'une fenêtre 8 dont les dimensions sont suffisantes pour le passage de la patte à mentonnet 2. Le chapeau 5 présente une ouverture analogue 9.
Quand ces deux ouvertures coïncident, la patte 2 peut s'engager à l'intérieur du bossage. Si l'on fait alors tourner le chapeau, le bord inférieur de celui-ci passe derrière le mentonnet et bloque ainsi la patte dans son logement, ce qui correspond à la fermeture. Pour pouvoir ouvrir, il suffit de ramener les ouvertures 8 et 9 en coïncidence.
Pour que les manoeuvres du chapeau se fassent sans hési- tation, on a embouti sur le fond supérieur du bossage 4, de peti- tes saillies 10, destinées à être reçues dans des creux 11, ména- gés dans le fond du chapeau, aux endroits voulus, Le ressort 7 exerçant une légère traction sur le chapeau, on est averti par un léger déclic, résultant de la chute des saillies dans les creux, que le chapeau est amené aux positions convenables.
D'après la variante indiquée aux fig.4 et 5, un ressort 12 est interposé entre le fond du chapeau et celui du bossage; le rivet central 13 traverse librement le fond supérieur du bossage 4 et se prolonge à l'intérieur de celui-ci, jusque vers sa base. A son extrémité correspondante, il porte un foncet 14, percé d'une mortaise 15, vers la fenêtre 8 ménagée sur le pourtour du bossage 4, pour l'entrée de la patte 2,
Quand on introduit cette patte à l'intérieur du bossage, son mentonnet abaisse le fonoet 14 en fléchissant le ressort 12, jusqu'à ce que son bord arrière arrive au bord de la mortaise 15.
Le ressort 12 rappelle alors le foncet, de sorte que le mentonnet

est bloqué dans la mortaise 15, ce qui correspond à la fermeture.
Pour ouvrir, il suffit d'exercer sur le chapeau 5 une pression suffisante pour abaisser le foncet et dégager le menton- net de la mortaise 15.
REVENDICATIONS
I - Un fermoir pour maroquinerie, gainerie, articles de voyages et analogues, comprenant, d'une part: une pièce pourvue d'une patte à mentonnet et,d'autre part, un corps formant un bossage où la dite patte peut s'engager et être bloquée jusqu'à ce qu'on agisse d'une manière appropriée sur un chapeau coiffant le bossage du corps.
2 - Une forme d'exécution suivant laquelle le bossage et le chapeau sont susoeptibles de tourner l'un par rapport à 1' autre et sont pourvus d'ouvertures qu'on amène en coïncidence pour le passage de la patte qui est bloquée quand le bord inférieur du chapeau passe derrière son mentonnet.
3 - Une variante qui consiste à prévoir pour le bloqua- ge de la patte, un foncet solidaire du chapeau rendu susceptible de coulisser axialement sur le bossage, avec interposition d'un ressort antagoniste.

According to fig. 1 to 3, the clasp consists of

two parts: unetête 1 fixed to the movable part of the object to be closed and a body 3, secured to the fixed part of said object. The head 1 is provided with a chin tab 2. The body 3 carries a projecting cylindrical boss 4, which is capped with a cap 5,.
The upper base of boss 4 and that of cap 5 are pierced with a central hole through which a hollow rivet 6 passes, leaving the cap free to turn. This rivet maintains a cross spring 7 under the bottom of the boss.
The boss 4 is pierced on its periphery with a window 8 whose dimensions are sufficient for the passage of the chin tab 2. The cap 5 has a similar opening 9.
When these two openings coincide, the tab 2 can engage inside the boss. If the hat is then rotated, the lower edge of the latter passes behind the chin and thus blocks the tab in its housing, which corresponds to the closure. To be able to open, it suffices to bring the openings 8 and 9 into coincidence.
In order for the cap to be operated without hesitation, small protrusions 10 have been stamped on the upper base of the boss 4, intended to be received in the recesses 11, formed in the bottom of the cap, at desired places, The spring 7 exerting a slight traction on the cap, one is warned by a slight click, resulting from the fall of the projections in the hollows, that the cap is brought to the suitable positions.

The spring 12 then recalls the funcet, so that the chin

To open, it suffices to exert sufficient pressure on the cap 5 to lower the func- tion and release the chin from the mortise 15.
CLAIMS
I - A clasp for leather goods, sheathing, travel articles and the like, comprising, on the one hand: a part provided with a chin tab and, on the other hand, a body forming a boss where said tab can s' engage and be locked until proper action is taken on a bonnet over the boss of the body.
2 - An embodiment according to which the boss and the cap are liable to rotate relative to one another and are provided with openings which are brought into coincidence for the passage of the tab which is blocked when the lower edge of the hat goes behind his chin.
3 - A variant which consists in providing for the blocking of the tab, a func- tion integral with the cap made capable of sliding axially on the boss, with the interposition of a counter spring.
