Description
[01] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of coatings, in particular to a capsaicin environmentally-friendly antifouling coating and a preparation method thereof.
[02] The 21st century is the century for mankind to develop and utilize of the ocean. Marine engineering in naval vessels, shipbuilding, shipping, fisheries, subsea oil and gas exploitation, and mariculture have all achieved unprecedented development. A comprehensive and frontier issue faced by the above marine engineering is that whether it is in fixed deep-sea facilities, such as ports, buoys, wharfs, piers, pipelines, fishing gears, or the dynamically navigating naval vessels and ships, there will be various marine fouling organisms adhering to and multiplying on the surface. Their large numbers and rapid growth will seriously endanger shipping costs and maritime safety. Therefore, effectively preventing marine biological fouling has always been the focus and hot spot of global research.
[03] Marine antifouling methods are complex and diverse, and there are many types of technologies. However, from the perspective of the development history of marine antifouling, adding antifouling agents to make antifouling coatings is one of the economically and technically feasible and most effective methods. At present, the commonly used antifouling agents in the world are cuprous oxide, copper pyrithione (zinc), zineb, Sea-nine211, trichlorophenyl maleimide, etc., although their toxicity is less than that of TBT and DDT, but they are still toxic substances, which can poison marine life and destroy the marine ecological balance, and have not solved the environmentally-friendly problem. With the increasing attention of the international community to environmental issues, it is imperative to develop efficient, broad-spectrum and environmentally friendly marine antifouling coatings.
[04] The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an environmentally-friendly, efficient, broad-spectrum and long-lasting capsaicin environmentally-friendly antifouling coating and a preparation method thereof, so as to solve the problems raised in the background art.
