Abstract

The smoke extracting hood is built into a kitchen above the cooking point. The filter housing (6) is guided height-adjustably in the hood part (2). The pull-out slide (3) is connected to the filter housing (6) via two laterally arranged articulated arms (8). Upon a pulling- out movement of the downwardly curved pull-out slide (3), the filter housing (6) is pulled downwards. As a result, the cooking point is covered in the manner of a dome, so that the cooking smoke can be collected properly. The glass pane (5) contained in the pull-out slide makes possible a good view of the cooking point situated underneath. <IMAGE>
