Abstract
The invention relates to a hydrostatic piston engine having at least one piston chamber. A piston is arranged in the piston chamber in a displaceable manner, wherein the piston chamber can be connected alternately to a first control opening (2) or to a second control opening (3) of a control part (1) through a piston chamber opening (4). A first and a second reversing region (5, 6) are formed between the first control opening (2) and the second control opening (3). The piston chamber opening (4) can be connected to an accumulator element (7), which opens into the first reversing region (5) through a connection (8). The connection of the reversing region (5) to the accumulator element (7) comprises a valve device (10). Through said valve device (10), the flow cross-section of the connection (8) can be varied relative to the control part (1) over time decoupled from a position angle (a) of the piston chamber opening (4).
