erreicht.

Turret head for machine tools,

reached. The tension is maintained for the duration of the coupling and ensures a centric, rigid and play-free connection between the turret head and the turret contractor.
In the drawing, the turret head according to the invention is illustrated in more detail in an exemplary embodiment in a longitudinal section before it is transferred into its cup position. The turret a is rotatably mounted on the journal b and can be moved longitudinally in relation to the turret carrier c. There are connecting links d between the turret head a and the turret head carrier c. and arranged e, of which d are firmly connected to the turret a and c to the carrier c for the latter. These connecting links d and c are disc-shaped and carry the actual coupling parts f, f1 on their edge, which can consist of interlocking claws or elevations and depressions.
About an intimate and precise interlocking of the coupling parts. f and 11 is one or both of the links in the axial direction, i.e. H. in the direction of the journal b, resilient.
In the embodiment shown, the connecting member e arranged on the revolving head support c is designed to be resilient at its outer edge at g. The suspension is made possible by the single groove ill or the double deflection m, n.
In order to enable precise centering of the former when coupling the turret a to the carrier c, the disk-shaped connecting member d is the
EMI1.3
As soon as the turret head is moved into its cup position with respect to the carrier c, it is centered precisely, since the connecting member d with its conical hub-like part i pushes itself onto a conical part k of the journal b.
As soon as the turret head a is shifted on the acbs pin b in the indicated direction of the arrow relative to the carrier c, the maucn-like coupling parts f and f1 of the connecting links d and e interlock and at the same time the conical hub-like part i of the connecting link slides d on the KQnus k of the Acbszapfens and causes a precise centering of the turret head o. Because one or both of the disk-shaped connecting links are resilient at their edge, as for example at g, in the axial direction, an extraordinarily firm pressing against one another of the coupling parts is effected,
whereby the turret head is secured with simultaneous centering against displacement both in the horizontal and vertical plane during the work of the tools and consequently a completely rigid, play-free connection between the turret head and the turret head carrier is guaranteed.
PATENT. EXPECTATIONS :
1. Turret head for machine tools, characterized in that between the turret head carrier (c) and the turret head (a) in the axial direction flexible connecting members, e) exist, for the purpose of enabling a rigid connection in the direction of rotation.
