Fassspund.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen das Eintreten von Luft in das Fass ermöglichenden zweiteiligen Fassspund mit einer am Kopfteil desselben angeordneten, mit der Höhlung des Spundes in Verbindung stehenden Querbohrung zum Eintritt der Luft.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass in diese Quorbohrung ein Rohr eingesetzt ist, welches

In der Zeichnung ist ein derartiger Fassspund beispielsweise dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 denselben im Längsschnitt, Fig. 2 denselben in Ansicht in zerlegtem Zustande.
Der Fassspund besteht in bekannter Weise aus zwei Teilen, einem konisch geformten Unterteil 1 und einem in diesen eingeschraubten Kopf 2.
Der Unterteil 1 ist mit einer Längsbohrung versehen, die im oberen Teile zu einer Höhlung 3 erweitert ist, welche einen Schwamm 4 oder ein anderes luftdurchlässiges Material aufnimmt, das geeignet ist, Flüssigkeiten aufzusaugen und in sich zu behalten.
Der in den Unterteil 1 mittels eines Gewindezapfens 8 einschraubbare Kopf 2 besitzt in seinem unteren Teile ebenfalls eine Längsbohrung 5, die nach oben in eine Querbohrung 6 mündet,
Nach vorliegender Erfindung ist nun in diese Querbohrung ein Rohr 7 eingesetzt, dessen Enden vorteilhaft beiderseits aus dem Kopfe herausragen. In diesem Rohr 7 bezw. in der Längsbohrung 5 ist ein Wattepfropfen 9 oder dgl. eingelegt. Bei Erneuerung dieses Wattepfropfens wird zur bequemeren Auswechslung vorteilhaft das Rohr 7 herausgezogen, dann die Watte eingelegt und das Rohr wieder eingeschoben.
Ein Gummiring 10 dient in bekannter Weise zur Herstellung eines luftdichten Abschlusses.
