carried out that their movable bracket 14, a better balance of the pressure on both support points can be achieved. If one or the other of the movable contacts 6, 7 is pressed against its fixed contact 8 or 9 by the toggle spring 3, the contact spring 5 is rotated until its end 10 rests with the entire width on the relevant longitudinal side of the slot 11 (see Fig 2.4), whereupon the contact pressure rises to its maximum value.
If a tilting process is now initiated, the tilting spring 3, together with its bent part 12, starts moving. During the first phase of this movement, the end 10 of the contact spring 5 on the side of the closed contacts releases from the length. the long side of the slot 1I. however, the contacts remain in contact under a pressure which does not fall below the given bias voltage mentioned earlier.
Only after the part of the toggle spring 3 has covered a distance which corresponds approximately to the width of the slot 11 does the opposite longitudinal side of the slot 11 (see Fig. 3) hit the end 10 of the contact spring 5 and the two contacts in contact are suddenly separated from one another.
According to the switch contact arrangement according to the invention, the described switch only performs the actual separation process of the contacts when the switch mechanism is already in motion, with sufficient contact pressure being maintained up to this moment. Since the switching mechanism, which is already in motion, only minimal masses during the separation process.

th equipped. Switch is radio-interference-free without additional means.
It has been shown that this switching contact arrangement is also superior to the known designs with regard to freedom from bouncing during the switch-on process. Furthermore, during the rotation of the contact spring 5 during the switch-on and switch-off process, the contacts slide on one another, whereby a self-cleaning effect is achieved.
The contact spring 5 is subjected to torsion and, apart from a stiff end, should be flexible in bending so as not to counteract the toggle spring with its spring force. Under certain circumstances, the contact spring 5 can therefore advantageously be fastened according to FIG. 5 on the toggle spring 3 or on the movable part of the switching mechanism, whereby this counteraction is eliminated. However, since a flat spring characteristic is also desired with regard to the rotation of the contact spring 5, the contact spring 5 according to FIG. 6 can advantageously be provided with lateral cutouts 15, with tabs 16 possibly serving to cool the narrowed point of the contact spring heated by the current passage can. This narrowed point or the entire resilient part of the contact spring can also, for. B. be formed by a steel wire.
Basically, the end 10 of the contact spring 5 should rest on diagonally opposite positions

an embodiment without part 12 with slot 11 is conceivable, for. B. when the contact spring 5 is arranged and fixed on the toggle spring 3. The purpose of the part 12 with the slot 11 is only to provide stops for the contact spring 5, which in one direction form a support for a weak contact spring with flat spring characteristics and in the other direction ensure perfect separation of the contacts even with contact welding.
The part 12 in which the slot 11 is arranged can also, instead of forming one piece with the toggle spring 3, be designed as a special part that is moved by a suitable switching mechanism. By producing this part from insulating material, in conjunction with further measures, an electrical separation of the switching contacts and the switching mechanism which is advantageous in many cases can be achieved.
The switching mechanism does not necessarily have to be a tilting system. The contact arrangement according to the invention can, for. B. can also be used with advantage in relays etc.
